Seven0fNine · 14/05/2017 13:07

Hope they can help you Grumpy I'm thinking of you xxx

Orange I'm so sorry to hear about your Mum. Keeping positive is the best thing you can do. Hopefully they will be able to do lots to help her xx

Omg otters you are so clever! They look amazing and I love the colour of the icing!

Para I am doing an AF dance for you right now...although I'm not sure it's working - it's gone very cloudy all of a sudden :D

OMG MUMMY I waaaaaaant!!!! He's so gorgeous!!!!!! Precious baby!!!

Tigger that sounds so exciting! I loved doing wedding stuff.

Tigger83 · 14/05/2017 13:04

Grumpy be strong and get the best outcome for you. I know erpc was definitely the best choice for me.

Little max is gorgeous would love a cat!

Well started today with the clear blue dual thingambob which feels very technical and scientific but I'm using my usual opks alongside. We're going for eod too (well at the moment Ed Blush) which is fun! Trying to feel more relaxed and positive about everything. I think I'm due to ovulate on my birthday which would be pretty cool so just keeping everything crossed (apart from my legs lol)

Beautiful sunshine out there so off to Homebase for more work on my garden projects then out in the garden planting up! Hoping oh and I get to go for a walk later in the forest.

Planning on a hot bath and a film later I think bliss.

Oh and I weighed in on Friday and 3lb gone aiming for same again this week but will be hard with b day looming.

orangefolly · 14/05/2017 12:20

Thank you. Glad you're getting seen grumpy - hope they can help reduce the uncertainty

otters I missed that cupcake pic - they look awesome

TheGrumpySquirrel · 14/05/2017 11:44

Orange I am so sorry to hear about your mum Sad

I'm in A&E they've done bloods and they are transferring me to OB/GYN shortly

orangefolly · 14/05/2017 11:41

Oh grumpy thinking of you today. Glad to know you've got your family around you.

parsnips how are you feeling today? Glad you got a little break from it all with friends last night.

Mummy Max is such a little cutey! Your DS will be so excited!

It's been a tough weekend in the Orange house - the tests have confirmed that my mum does indeed have breast cancer. She's going in to see the consultant next week and they will probably operate the week after. Don't know yet what course of treatment she'll need. My poor DM is trying to be so brave for us even though it's so scary. I think that mothering reflex never goes away even when your kids are grown up - I can tell she is trying to be positive for us to protect us.

otters2017 · 14/05/2017 11:34

Cupcakes I've baked for the bride to be to test for her wedding. Can send to anyone who needs cake! Took me ages to bake & decorate 24. Not sure how I'm going to manage 100!!

grumpy really hope the physical side doesn't drag on. Your DD sounds sweet and I'm glad she gave you some comfort. Sending lots of ❤

parsnips how are you doing? Glad you had a good time with friends and some retail therapy. Sounds like it's what you need. Hope your family will be more thoughtful as the days go by

mummy I want max too! Sooooo cute!!!

tigger good luck with wedding planning. How exciting!

para hope AF shows up for you soon. 12 weeks!

You ladies are all amazing and I'm so glad I have you all ❤❤❤ xxxx

Parastars · 14/05/2017 11:18

Dancing Frustrated beyond belief! My poor DH has wondered where his usually chilled-out wife has disappeared to! If you could do some sort of AF-summoning dance for me, that'd be great Grin

DancingUnicorn · 14/05/2017 11:06

12 weeks para?! Oh wow. I so hope it happens for you before then. You must be so frustrated. Big hugs.

DancingUnicorn · 14/05/2017 11:04

It must be so scary grumpy. ❤️

Parastars · 14/05/2017 11:03

Grumpy I have scan pics and have put them in a keepsake box I have for DH and I. It felt very important to me, and in a strange way, was nice to be able to show my mum. I hope that is happens as quickly and as pain-free as possible for you. I understand the wanting it out feeling, but then as soon as the surgery was over, I wanted my baby back in. It's so so hard, and such an emotional rollercoaster. We are here for you ❤

Dancing no af. The dr gave me antibiotics just in case there was an infection, although as there's no pain it's unlikely. I just need to be patient apparently Hmm but have to go back if no af after 12 weeks for an ultrasound. Hoping it will have happened by then!

TheGrumpySquirrel · 14/05/2017 10:35

Thanks mummy I'm just going to see what they say.

Dancing in a way I want to see it but the uncertainty of the pain and when exactly it will happen is not do-able for me. I have scan pics.

DancingUnicorn · 14/05/2017 10:29

Mummy argh!!! Sooooo cute!

DancingUnicorn · 14/05/2017 10:27

Grumpy the fear of seeing the foetus is what made me choose the surgical option. Oddly, I wonder now if it would have helped me. I don't have a scan pic either, which I really regret now. (Though at the time it would have been very weird to pull out my phone and take a picture of the screen). My dh doesn't understand why I would want either, but I just think I want something tangible, not just a head full of painful memories. Will be thinking of you today, and hope the worst of it is over (physically) for you.

Jb I'm glad you've had a lovely time. I love the sea. Sounds like you have a great week planned too. Hopefully the sun will be shining for you!

I'm glad you had a nice time with friends parsnips. And it's totally your decision whether you tell people what you are going through. I'm sorry your family have continued to say the wrong thing. Hopefully when you get to dh's family they will just give you a huge hug. Glad you got a bit of retail therapy in too, and are looking forwards. We will have to help you ration the frers!

Tigger sounds like you've got loads sorted for the wedding already! Impressive. Are you opking this cycle? Or just going for it?

Para ❤️ Any sign of AF? Really hoping it shows up for you.

Mummyme87 · 14/05/2017 10:27

We are getting a kitten next month 😍 Meet max!

I hope it all hurries up for you grumpy if I was at work I would speak to the gynae reg on call for you but I'm off now 🙁 If you went to A&E I think they would ask you to come back to EPU/AGU tomorrow morning

Getting Ready For Baby Challenge - Part 9
TheGrumpySquirrel · 14/05/2017 10:15

Hb bless you x

The bleeding isn't getting any heavier yet so I'm worried it will take ages. Going for a walk then may go to A&E. EPU doesn't open till 8am tomorrow. I just want it out.

Parastars · 14/05/2017 09:35

Sending love to you Grumpy 💔

HbH · 14/05/2017 09:22

Morning girls

My DH calls you my 'virtual friends' but when i was reading about your docs appointment on my lunch yesterday grumpy i was fighting back tears... we're totally emotionally invested in each others lives through the ups & the downs. So glad you're back with your favourite people. I know you want to keep things seamless at work but try and look after yourself too❤️

parsnips good to hear that you had some lovely distractions from everything yesterday... & excellent news on the FRER stocks... they'll be worth their weight in gold when you get back on the train.

JB your escape sounds lovely! Hope jupiter is having a fab one too!

tigger 16 months will fly by!! It's so bloody exciting! I did mine in 7 but it literally took over our lives! It'll be nice to spread things out a bit!

Well i went to sleep with an evil headache & have woken up with it... also, for the first time, had to decamp to the guest room cos DH's snoring broke me!! Confused

JB1983 · 14/05/2017 08:40

Grumpy hope your are not in too much pain physically, I know it's a whole different story emotionally. Bless your DD, she sounds lovely and it's good she is such a comfort to you.

parsnips glad you enjoyed your dinner with friends last night, take your mind off things for a bit. Retail therapy sounds like it was much needed and that's good forward planning stocking up on FRERs whilst here. Hope your doing ok.

Tigger its so exciting wedding planning isn't it. Seems like an age since I did all that.

Our costal retreat has been lovely, the weather started off a bit wet yesterday but turned lovely by afternoon. Don't want to go home, however off all week so have lots of nice things planned with friends and their babies when's dH goes back to work.

TheGrumpySquirrel · 14/05/2017 08:33

Still the same, red blood and cramping (bearable, not as bad as day 1 AF yet) but it's still thick and not flowing like AF, no idea how long this will take. Thank you all for your kind words, I'm glad I am home in my bed and not alone in Spain. It's a sunny day so going to try and go for a walk with DD and DH.

charl19 · 14/05/2017 08:28

Totally agree, it's such a personal thing and unless you have been in the situation, or have the stress and constant thoughts about ttc I don't think you get it.. people just don't know what to say to you so it is so nice to have a place where you can come and just say exactly what you feel and everything you need to get off your chest xx hope you managed to get some sleep grumpy and that the bleeding won't get too heavy xx thinking of you too parsnips x

HopefullyDothButterNoParsnips · 14/05/2017 08:12

Oh bless your* DD Grumpy*. She must be just crushed. I really hope the worst of it is over for you soon and you aren't in too much pain. I can't believe it happened to you as well. It's horrible how things just turn.

I went out for dinner with some friends last night (it was pre arranged weeks ago). I spent ages doing my make up and just enjoyed myself. I didn't tell them as we were just laughing about other things.

When I got home my mum was like "well, did you have a good chat" and I said "I didn't tell them" and she looked a bit miffed. Think she wanted to hear all the reactions. DH decided to buy me a lucky dip lottery ticket yesterday because "your luck will have to be on the turn eventually"!! I was like err thanks!

On a brighter note, I have shopped Belfast to its limits yesterday and bought like 10 FRER for when we start to try again. Just need to keep looking forward. I want to thank you all massively for all your support over the last few days. It really has meant so much, particularly when I've felt like the people I'm closest too just don't get it!

Morning all. Yesterday was a busy day for me, met the florist and the tipi company for the wedding. I know it's 16 months away but getting so excited!!

Grumpy how you doing lovely?

Parsnips I think I have had every single variation of things not to say when you've had a miscarriage it's hard but it does get easier.

Mummyme87 · 14/05/2017 07:03

Thinking of you grumpy and parsnips
