buzz I was told about the cranberry juice from a lady who had chronic UTIs. Makes sense.

I lost 2lb at fat club, last 9lb off in 2weeks 😊

buzzmoon · 10/05/2017 14:46

Oh orange that must be so scary and stressful!! Hope she's okay and your kitchen is sorted too

Haha grumpy my Fitbit got so annoyed at me yesterday cause I literally didn't move for about 4 hours 😂 gutted for you and the olives! mrs too! I love coffee!! Have just had a banh mi though from this lush Vietnamese place near work but have come over feeling all funny 🤔 pain in tummy and back so weird. Going off to find your baby names thread!!

mummy really useful to know about the cranberry juice as I had a suspected one a few weeks ago and nurse told me to drink loads!!

jb I was testing every other day with ICs cause I didn't believe it, still don't tbh!

tigger hope af eases and you get lots of nice things in the shops! I've been to Clinique this lunchtime oops!

HbH · 10/05/2017 14:28

Oh no grumpy ... Olives are the best! Glad people are being friendly on the name boards... they can be effing brutal! (Have experienced this personally 🙈)

MrsC2017 · 10/05/2017 14:07

Oo grumpy I also have a food aversion.... Coffee, thought I would die giving it up but I actually couldn't stomach it, it's a miracle! I hope u get some zzzz's tonight!

TheGrumpySquirrel · 10/05/2017 13:34

I've discovered a food aversion - I love olives but since being pregnant they taste like dog poo to me! I thought I just ate some dud ones in California but no - Spanish olives are just as rank!

Been entertaining myself in the boring meetings by listing a baby names thread on here, making some progress I think as people are being quite helpful!

Hope you enjoy the sun tigger - the clouds have lifted too here and I'm sitting on the terrace having a little break. Still exhausted from not sleeping well but I should be able to slip off to bed early tonight

MrsC2017 · 10/05/2017 11:44

Hi girls! Thanks for all the support, I appreciate it, I'm a bit calmer today, talked myself down! I'm actually just going to go ahead and be excited about this job, I know my being pregnant won't affect my ability so I'm going to try and push it out of my mind.
tigger sorry AF has been painful and that you've been stressed I hope the sunshine can cheer you up xx
jb have a lovely weekend at the coast, hopefully helps you forget work stress!!
jupiter and hb my boobs are also giant and the pain is gone now but they have gotten a bit ugly and veiny! Probably doesn't help that I'm so pale so the veins glow in the dark! Hopefully the pain will go and you can show them off!
seven I want this to be your month so bad, I'm keeping everything crossed!
buzz that's hilarious, do you have a pet? Strap it to the pet next time u need a nap and hopefully it'll wander about 😂 😂
grumpy glad you escaped uti, I'm also antibiotic resistant too because of them, the joys! Glad the flight went well!
para good to see you and sorry that AF hadn't showed up, remember we're all here for the downs as well as the ups!
penguin totally normal to be worried about spotting but hopefully it's nothing and it's true, I still feel AF cramps now it's awful to be on hyper awareness I hope it all settles soon xx
orange so sorry to hear your news, how stressful, hopefully it's nothing but the waiting is stressful, big love to you and the orange family xx
mummy ah enjoy sharing the news and I still giggle at fat club!
jupiter best of luck with your boss, I hope they are a cute and supportive of you!

HbH · 10/05/2017 10:58

Ah hope AF does one soon tigger & you can get back on it... enjoy the sun!

So sorry to hear about AF & your Mum orange very worrying but good they're being quick about it, FX for positive results soon

Was thinking about you too last night Otters hope you're doing ok considering the circumstances.

Para, can the EPU look into things for you if its been too long for AF? So frustrating FlowersCake

Tigger83 · 10/05/2017 09:47

Well I'm 3days in to af. Cramps have been really bad and bit heavier flow but red blood so it's all working ok lol. I'm hoping it buggers off soon so I can get on with this cycle. Diet has been going ok this week which is good, weigh in on Friday so watch this space. Had mum staying with me this week which has been a bit stressful but there we go.

Beautiful sunny day out there so going for long walk round the shops at lunch!

JB1983 · 10/05/2017 09:21

I have had such a super stressful couple of week at work that I haven't really had time to think about what I'm feeling that I keep forgetting I'm actually pregnant. I only have slightly tender boobs so did a test this morning to reassure myself I actually am still pregnant haha.

Getting away to the coast this weekend with DH and the dog and I cannot wait!

JB1983 · 10/05/2017 09:19

orange sorry AF got you and that your cycle has become irregular. Fx for next cycle. What a worry with your mum, will be thinking of you.

Dancing and Tigger has AF departed? Really hope this cycle is successful for you both.

Otters how was the rest of your Italy holiday? Hope you and DH are doing ok.

confused what a stressful consultant appointment. Hopefully next time you see her she will be have a. It better bedside manner.

penguin I totally understand how worrying the spotting is. Try and take heart if it is only brown and not red, but maybe talking to someone at a EPU might help. I am still waiting on the exhaustion that everyone seems to experience but as of yet I don't feel that bad yet.

Para do you have to go back to doctor is AF doesn't arrive soon? Totally understand that reading some of these posts must make things harder, but don't ever worry about posting your feelings, we are all here to support each other, no matter what.

mummy I had that feeling too that everyone must know at my work that I'm upduffed haha.

Yay to the glowing comment parsnips.

Good luck with your new job MrsC. New jobs are always daunting so I can't imagine what a new job whilst being pregnant feels like. I'm sure you'll rock it though!

grumpy glad you escaped the UTI. Enjoy Spain. I love the sound of your 5 year plan!

seven I had no symptoms really right up to BFP. I thought I felt a bit queasy at 9DPO but I think I may have been imagining it 😂

Jupiter and Hb yay to the super sized boobs, boo that they are so sore! Good luck telling your boss Jupes

buzz haha to sneaky Fitbit recording your secret naps 😂😂

Mummyme87 · 10/05/2017 09:18

grumpy I'm glad the UTI has t shown itself, lots of water. buzz cranberry juice tends to make UTIs worse as full of sugar, but the sachets are okay. I find bicarbonate of soda in water is great... disgusting for helps keep them at bay

orange sorry to hear about your mum, very worrying for you. FX all is well

parsnips I keep getting painful pinpoint niggles in my left groin and pubic bone, I think I implanted on that side as well.

4weeks today, no AF, boobs sore like hell!!
Off to fat club this morning then to the park with a friend who knows about my TTC journey so I may share my news with her... she had IVF for both of her children

TheGrumpySquirrel · 10/05/2017 08:53

Oh on the subject of fitness trackers.. I had a jawbone UP3 and it drove me INSANE. I liked the sleep tracker (light / deep / R.E.M.) but that was it. The app would tell me off if I didn't wear it all day as well, do my steps etc. I binned it after 6 months, it was so stressful! Plus you had to manually enter workouts and food so it was like a full time job maintaining the data. And it was supposed to sync with MFP but that never worked properly.

DancingUnicorn · 10/05/2017 08:43

Orange really hope your mum is ok. Must be such a scary experience for everyone involved. And sorry about AF. Irregular must really suck.

Grumpy hope the work bits of Spain fly by so you can get to the relaxing bits.

Hope all goes with your boss Jupiter.

I really hope the spotting stops soon penguin. It must make everything even more nerve wracking! Hopefully nothing and it settles down for you.

Sorry you're so tired buzz. It's really hard. Make sure you take time to recover, and ignore the Fitbit nap knowledge - you're more important!!

Para ❤️

How are you Tigger? And also thinking of Otters and dh. Hope the rest of the Italian trip was peaceful for you.

Penguin27 · 10/05/2017 08:40

Orange sorry about your mum, I can understand that's worrying! I hope she's ok!

I spoke too soon, still spotting Confused

TheGrumpySquirrel · 10/05/2017 08:23

Orange sorry about your mum, that must be worrying. FWIW I had the same thing and a core needle biopsy (fat needle!) and it's very quick, hope it's just a fibrous lump. Fx for her.
That sucks re AF - how many days was this cycle?

Jupiter good luck telling your boss!

orangefolly · 10/05/2017 08:18

seven keeping my fingers crossed for you! It's def early days yet for symptoms.

para hope AF comes soon - we're here if you want to chat.

otters are you okay? Thinking of you.

Oh yes, good luck with the sugar-coated psycho boss jupiter (that description made me laugh!)

Aunt Bitch turned up two days early, so at least I know, but also my periods have become irregular

Horrible day yesterday - we are having a new kitchen put in which will be great but the installers are such a pain in the arse. And then my mum phoned very worried because she had found a lump and they had rushed her for a biopsy as soon as they saw the scan. She should have her results on Friday so keeping my fingers crossed it's just benign. Urgh.

buzzmoon · 10/05/2017 07:43

Oops cross posted with loads of you!! Haha

Penguin27 · 10/05/2017 07:42

Morning ladies!

Hey para! Sorry you're feeling down, I imagine it must be so frustrating waiting for AF to arrive so that you can try again. We're here if you need to let off some steam Flowers

Hope you got some sleep and the UTI didn't materialise grumpy. Enjoy your breakfast and easy-going morning!

I forgot who it was that was going to tell their boss today (I'm thinking parsnips or Jupiter?) sorry!! Good luck though, I hope it goes well!

I'm ok thanks Jupiter! Haven't been sleeping well so feel very tired already! Got a busy day today at work as well. Had a bit more spotting yesterday afternoon... nothing this morning as yet. Got some light cramping and last night this weird pulling sensation down the middle of my abdomen Hmm I'm pretty sure I have a bump already, either that or I'm putting on weight like crazy 🙈

TheGrumpySquirrel · 10/05/2017 07:39

X-post buzz I'm feeling better thanks. lol about the hot chocolate, this is how I justify my daily flat white, otherwise I wouldn't get any dairy at all! Maybe I should take some calcium hmm

HopefullyDothButterNoParsnips · 10/05/2017 07:39

Thanks jupiter - I think I did ovulate on that side as I had pains on the left side around that time.

Honestly I've never felt so aware of this 'area' in all my life.

OP posts:
TheGrumpySquirrel · 10/05/2017 07:38

Parsnips I had lots of twinges like that in the first few weeks too.

Seven only 4 days till something might show on a test.. when is AF due?
I felt completely normal too, the only clue was a lunchtime glass of wine making me feel slightly odd. Then the symptoms kicked in the day I got my BFP! So dizzy and so tired. Now back to normal - very strange.

Pleased to report that all seems to be functioning ok this morning think I've escaped a UTI 🤞🏼

it's cloudy in Barcelona today but that's ok as I'm at conference events all day today and tomorrow. Friday and the weekend are forecast to be clear sunshine, woop!

buzzmoon · 10/05/2017 07:38

grumpy glad flight was okay! You can always rely on Europe, even if it's a cheapo airline, it'll be much better than America!
Hope you haven't got a UTI! Does cranberry juice help? Hope you got to sleep eventually. I couldn't sleep for ages tbh! I think my mind was just going off on one after the scan thinking about things! Crazy about the colostrum already! 👶🏽

parsnips very normal- I've had lots of odd twinges, my midwife said as Long as it's not painful and prolonged and no bleeding then it's normal!

seven moist 😷 still a week to go till your bfp due so normal not to be feeling anything I'm sure! Try and enjoy the calm before the storm hehe!

Very tired here, didn't sleep much. But got a hot chocolate for my commute this morning 💁🏽 my mum said she used to drink a pint of milk a day when she was pregnant, not sure if there's any scientific basis or that's NHS recommended but great excuse to have hot chocolates hehe :)

HeyJupiter · 10/05/2017 07:36

Don't worry seven, 6DPO is really early and the egg most likely won't have even implanted yet so you wouldn't be feeling any different. Good luck!! xx

HeyJupiter · 10/05/2017 07:36

Para I’m so sorry that AF hasn’t shown up and this is becoming such a prolonged emotional and physical ride. Is it worth discussing with your GP or is this all pretty normal in terms of waiting for your first period? (not to minimise how you’re feeling of course.) We’re all here if you need a vent, don’t every worry about that but also I appreciate it might be a bit difficult to read some of the posts on here sometimes. Thinking of you Flowers

Ohhh Hb I feel you on the boobs issue. Mine were already pretty massive but have got much heavier/denser and my nipples are all swollen. Hurts so much at the end of the day when I can take my bra off. DH sad he can’t take advantage but says he is admiring from afar Grin

grumpy glad you’ve safely arrived. Hope you’re enjoying a mahoosive breakfast this morning :) Sorry about the UTI though, how rubbish. Hope you can get some safe antibiotics sorted out soon.

parsnips I had left lower side twinges and twangs for the first 3 weeks of pregnancy and interestingly they’ve come back a bit lately. I got all worried about it at the time (confused reassured me) but likely either digestive (your bowel empties that side), or maybe to do with your corpus luteum (do you know if you ovulated that side?) Welcome to a world of weird aches, pains, twinges and pulls. I’ve had full on AF cramps at various times too. I think it’s all normal as long as not making you double over in pain or accompanied by spotting.

Penguin how are you this morning? Any more spotting?

Seven0fNine · 10/05/2017 07:29

Morning ladies, just catching up from yesterday

Penguin so happy for your digi :D
Hb Flacid Grin just that word makes me shudder...that and "moist"
Anyway glad you and Buzz enjoyed the crumpets!
Yay Keith You're so cute! Glad it all went well Buzz
Hope you're OK orange - Sorry for the BFN. I know the feeling xxx I'm not testing until after AF due for that very reason!
Gosh Grumpy you do get around! Hope you have a good trip and some nice sunshine whilst you're there xx Hope you got to sleep in the end.
Nice one on the pregnancy glow parsnips!!
Sorry about your consultant confused. So glad your mum has your back and you weren't on your own x
I'm sure you will own the new job mrsC Good luck lovely xx
Hope you're OK Para have you asked the doc about it? We're here if you need us xxx

CD 31 here Sad and an estimated 6dpo and feel completely normal. Not even got any spots or anything!
