Jupiter that's great they are doing your bloods and scan on same day. My letter says I have to have bloods taken at least 3 days before the scan, I don't know why, but it's really annoying given that both appointments are weekdays and not early or late (hence my work issues / working from home and then taking the day off).

HeyJupiter · 11/05/2017 12:14

Oh parsnips so sorry to hear about the spotting. I can't imagine what a worry it must be but could easily be nothing. Will be thinking of you at 1pm Flowers

Penguin so glad your spotting is calming down! Must all be part of the implantation process.

buzz scan at 2:50 tomorrow and then bloods for the combined screening. Can't come soon enough :) Does it all feel more real since yours? :)

Mummyme87 · 11/05/2017 12:10

parsnips just saw your post about spotting. Get checked out in the UK, find out where your local epu is. Fx for you

H&M in Kingston has a maternity section

buzzmoon · 11/05/2017 11:37

penguin glad sporting has eased. parsnip hope yours does too. Google says pink is usually nothing to worry about so I'm sure you'll be fine❤️

grumpy mummy I really like H&M maternity and their baby clothes are lovely. Asos seem to have some lovely stuff too.

TheGrumpySquirrel · 11/05/2017 11:30

Thanks mummy you reminded me to check out h & m, I got all my maternity clothes from there with DD. In fact I kept one wrap top because it's actually nice, and I secretly knew I'd have another one day. 👶🏼
I think H&M have in store maternity in the big stores (?) but GAP is all online (and gets bad reviews). Seraphine is pricey but gets great reviews.

Penguin27 · 11/05/2017 11:23

Oh no parsnips sorry to hear about your spotting Flowers it's good that you've been able to get an appointment so quickly. Hope it's all ok?

My spotting seems to have calmed down today, there was just a little bit on the tissue when I wiped... Hopefully there won't be any more. I think if there is more then I'll call the GP tomorrow. The local EPU isn't walk-in, so I'd need a referral.

Mummyme87 · 11/05/2017 11:07

grumpy I know what you mean about Jojo maternity clothes. I got jeans and a few bits from there last time but most stuff from H&M.
Feeling much better after eating breakfast 😊

HbH · 11/05/2017 10:04

Oh no parsnips sorry to hear, such a worry😳 Hopefully just something implantation related... maybe you could get bloods done in UK? x

HopefullyDothButterNoParsnips · 11/05/2017 09:29

I'm flying to U.K. Tomorrow morning and then not back until 22nd so I can't do the repeat tests within a short time period. It seems mostly pink so fingers crossed it's just normal and I am being over cautious.

Morning all,
parsnips Crap, sorry you are going through all this worry with spotting, hopefully the docs will be able to reassure you when you go, I think they can do scans and then repeat a week later to see how things are progressing or they might take bloods, hopefully they'll be able to get to the bottom of things, hugs to you xx
mummy all my vomiting is linked to brushing teeth, it's awful! Happened again this morning!
wilde glad all is well, congrats on a boy!
penguin hope the spotting has eased off today love x
jb hope your random spotting dissappears too, honestly it's so common and yet I feel like they never tell you these things!

JB1983 · 11/05/2017 08:59

Parsnips sorry you have spotting. Hopefully the doctor can let you know if everything is ok. I'm not sure if it's too early for a scan at 5 weeks or not. They might just want to HCG blood levels and check they are doubling, however they might not be concerned at all and think it's just normal. Fx for you x

Jupiter glad it went well telling your boss, must feel like a weight off.

Nice to hear from you wilde glad everything is going well with your pregnancy.

mummy oh no retching already, hopefully just a one off. My only symptom is sore boobs and will be 5 weeks tomorrow.

Glad your feeling a bit more normal penguin, has the spotting stopped? I got a tiny bit yesterday but it is still brown so trying not to stress about it.

I love the baby clothes in mama Jojo Bebe.

Lovely to hear from you otters, sounds like you have a good plan in mind for going forward. Hopefully the clomid does its job this cycle.

HopefullyDothButterNoParsnips · 11/05/2017 08:54

I'm going at 4.00pm (1pm U.K. Time). They have all the gear here. I noticed she had a transvag bit on the scanner the other day so I'm sure they could do that. Will try not to panic shit myself until then.

TheGrumpySquirrel · 11/05/2017 08:49

Parsnips I saw a sac and yolk at EPU scan at 5+2. Can you go to one in the U.K.? Hope it settles down, thinking of you

buzzmoon · 11/05/2017 08:49

Oh parsnips I hope everything's okay. Pretty sure they can see something on a transvaginal scan like grumpy had? You'll be fine, forget about work, you and your little peanut are more important ❤️

HopefullyDothButterNoParsnips · 11/05/2017 08:43

I've made an appt to get more see the doc and get checked out. I'm flying long haul tomorrow to U.K. God knows what I'm going to say to work as we are bombed today and it's my last day in before taking leave. Will have to think of something. Really hoping it's nothing. Not even sure what they can do at docs really. There won't be anything to see at 5 weeks will there.

Tigger83 · 11/05/2017 08:33

Oh parsnips hope you're ok. Some spotting can be normal Flowers

DancingUnicorn · 11/05/2017 08:32

Parsnips totally understandable to be scared! It's probably nothing, apparently spotting is quite common. Hopefully that's all there is. Hope you are able to stay as calm as possible. I dunno how it works there - is there someone you can ring?

HopefullyDothButterNoParsnips · 11/05/2017 08:26

I think I might be bleeding. I went to the loo and it's pink when I wipe. There was a bit of red too - only a little. Dark but definitely red. I'm not in any pain bar the twinges yesterday. Shit.

buzzmoon · 11/05/2017 08:03

Wow grumpy how have I never heard or Seraphine! It's lovely! Gonna have to go to the kings road I think! Love the bump pack thingy with 4 items!

jupiter one more day to go! what time is it tomorrrow? 2pm?

Happy Thursday everyone

Penguin27 · 11/05/2017 07:39

Good morning all!*
*
Thanks for the reassurance about the tea, grumpy! I hope today's work events go well and you're able to have a relaxing evening.

Sorry about the nausea mummy! Hope you feel better.

Nice to have you back otters, I'm glad some time away helped you to think things over. Fx the appointment is moved forward for you.

I slept better last night, feel normal for the first time this week .... hopefully that's a good thing!

HeyJupiter · 11/05/2017 07:32

How exciting Dancing! Hope the eod goes well, what CD do you expect to ovulate? Good luck :)

Para good luck with getting an appointment today. Am willing AF to show her face for you as I can’t imagine how difficult it is sitting in limbo. I really hope you get some answers soon.

Tea-wise I’m on the red bush! Love it.

otters so pleased you’re feeling more hopeful and positive. I suppose it helps just having a plan in mind. Are they going to increase your clomid again this month? It seems to be doing something doesn’t it, even if you’re not quite at the levels needed to ovulate yet. Am glad the time away gave you some thinking space Flowers

grumpy the jojo sleep suits are just gorgeous aren’t they?! I don’t blame you…after the scan I’m going to be unstoppable Grin

Yay Wilde, was thinking about you the other day. So pleased that everything is going well, how wonderful. Please do pop back when you can and keep us updated.

mummy oh dear, am so sorry you’re feeling crappy. I had some retching early on but that passed and nausea didn’t start until much later. Fingers crossed the same for you.

BabyJupes is officially the size of a macaroon! (according to ovia…) Have a lovely day everyone x

TheGrumpySquirrel · 11/05/2017 07:09

Mummy I don't think it's too early I honestly felt terrible from 4-6 weeks not outright sick but completely off food, dizzy and exhausted. I had to get bus instead of tube some days because I wanted to be able to get off if I felt bad. Hope you feel better x

TheGrumpySquirrel · 11/05/2017 07:06

Hi Wilde congratulations! How many weeks are you now? When did you have panorama and how quickly did you get results? I'm having harmony on Tuesday.

Mummy I think most of the JOJO maternity clothes are a bit grim! The reviews help. I stuck to cotton basics and got the important bits like work trousers and jeans from Seraphine.

Mummyme87 · 11/05/2017 06:53

*retching not wrenching

Mummyme87 · 11/05/2017 06:52

Welcome back wilde glad you are well and your pregnancy is progressing nicely

So it should be too early but I started wrenching whilst brushing my teeth (same as last pregnancy) and sitting on the bus feeling rather nauseous 😖🤢
