Thank you girls. I just feel completely shit. I'd printed off cute little messages to tell parents with and was running wild making everything Pinterest perfect and all the while it just wasn't going to work out. I haven't told DH yet. He is still working and I don't want to just message him. Totally shit timing as seeing family tomorrow and they are none the wiser so will need to put on a brave face. Not that the timing would ever be good to be honest. I just took it for granted that everything would be ok.

Parsnips so sorry to hear that, the same thing happened to me between 5-6... it's so shitty and rubbish, so sorryFlowers emotionally draining all this ttc... hope your DH looks after you and pampers you. So sorry this has happened, look after yourself and stay in touch xxxxx

Sorry it's not much clearer parsnips but good that they have hcg levels from Saturday for comparison. How are you feeling now you're home? Thinking of you x

They just called. It's not good news. My hcg levels have dropped to 12. It's a miscarriage. I'm going to start passing it soon. Thanks for all your well wishes.

I've just got home and gone to the loo and it's darker now. More red and there was a clot in it. Not sure if this is because she poked about in there but it doesn't look good. DH had to go back to work. I've put a pad on. Really worried now. I'm guessing even when they ring back about blood test it won't give us the answer as my levels are bound to have gone up from the weekend. Even if something has gone wrong. Waiting is rubbish 😢

Sorry they aren't able to give you a clear answer right now parsnips. I was reading about the way the placenta develops, it sounds like that could cause some bleeding so that's what I'm hoping was the cause of mine... could be breakthrough bleeding also. I really hope it's nothing to worry about, try to keep calm Flowers

DH is here with me.

Just had the scan (Which was transvaginal) and they couldn't see anything yet. OBGYN said this is quite normal at 5 weeks but I would've thought there might be a little bubble or something there at least.

I'm having a blood test next and they're going to tell me the hcg levels from that tonight - using Saturday's levels as a base will give them a good idea of viability. They said if they're concerned they might ask me to have another set of bloods done in the U.K. In 48 hours.

She said in all likelihood it is implantation bleeding which would coincide with the twinges I had yesterday. I thought implantation occurred yonks ago?! Don't we all convince ourselves we have implantation pain before BFP?

Thanks ladies. I'm leaving work now. Told boss I'd had a dodgy wrap for lunch 😳. I've got last appt of the day. Will update you if there's anything to update you with. Still lots of pink. No more red since earlier. Hoping that's a good sign. Just nervous as we have the flight so don't want to leave it a few days if that makes sense.
