Feeling so much better today. I'm really looking forward to getting away with my oh for a few days (we go on Sunday for 2 days to a spa hotel) booked myself in for a couple of treatments. Going to a wedding this weekend too so a night up in London tomorrow night. Been getting some niggly pains around my uterus area and occasional pain in my boobs but not constant like last time but I can't remember when they started to hurt last time!! My first clear indication was dizziness and that was about 12dpo I think. So much for not symptom spotting!!

Thanks for all the love xx

JB1983 · 27/04/2017 10:38

dancing I had to create a google account too for the spreadsheet but it seemed to work ok. Thanks mrsC. We've become a very high tech thread.

Sorry dancing, tigger and penguin that you all had rubbish days yesterday. Must have been something in the air as for the first time in ten years at my work I was close to tears. There is no way in hell that I will have conceived this cycle with that amount of work stress. Unless it was a change in hormones that made me have a wobble yesterday clutching at straws

mummy and orange your ovulation was in sync, will look forward to double testing soon!

Glad your feeling better today grumpy, I'm sure the sunshine will do wonders!

charl if I think too much about finances then i start to worry too. My DH is on temp contract and I start panicking about what would happen if he doesn't get kept on, however so far his contract has been renewed every year and that's another year gone without a baby. So there will never be a perfect time, I've started saving now for maternity leave to make things easier when the time comes.

HbH · 27/04/2017 08:43

Oh Seven I won't arrest you just yet! It must be disheartening to even attempt EOD when you have long cycles and can't see Ov in sight. Maybe you could look into Soy Isoflavones? Taken at the beginning of the cycle, they're meant to shorten the follicular phase and bring Ov forward to a more reasonable time in the cycle. Like a natural clomid. I'm absolutely not a doc so don't so it without research... it's just something I've come across on my travels!

Seven0fNine · 27/04/2017 07:55

Morning girls,

Awesome work MrsC. I watched HB update it live after I did mine... How exciting!!!

Managed to finally dtd last night. HB you will have to arrest me cos I've been rubbish. Well not me really, DH been tired. Not sure it matters too much atm as no where near positive opk... I need to order more today! Might treat us to some magic lube too 😂

Hows your week going buzz?

I wonder how Laura is... It's getting close to her humping time I think 😂

Have a good day everyone xxx

HbH · 27/04/2017 07:52

Thanks MrsC that's such a good idea!! (Mine made me download an app called sheets to edit through)

buzzmoon · 26/04/2017 23:27

Well done mrs! Can't figure out how to do it on my phone but will fill it out soon!

DancingUnicorn · 26/04/2017 22:48

MrsC Totally just suggested cheap flights into Knock and hiring a car to dh! ;)

orangefolly · 26/04/2017 22:40

Nice one MrsC I have filled it in (I think!)

Sorry dancing and tigger - it must be incredibly tough x

mummy I too think I have put on weight. Gahhh... More importantly fingers crossed for you for the egg catching.

jupiter got my first definitely positive OPK in a couple of months today - CD13 (maybe lucky after all?) - really pleased to have caught it after so much POAS confusion! Ovia would have missed almost my entire fertile week with her prediction. Hoping we caught it tonight Blush Smile

grumpy hope you have a better night tonight, jet lag can be a bitch

MrsC2017 · 26/04/2017 22:06

Oh crap dancing not sure why that is, hopefully it can be done! Anybody good with technology?? Grin
Oooo come on holiday here and we can have a little meet, it's a lovely place when the sun shines!

DancingUnicorn · 26/04/2017 22:00

Thanks MrsC! :) Couldn't figure out how to edit it without logging in. So now I have a DancingUnicorn email address! (Overly paranoid much?) Also you clearly can edit without logging in, because there is currently an anonymous dinosaur and llama doing so! Btw, totally love the west of Ireland. Have been over for work a couple of times. It's now on my holiday destination list!

Ok...... I Hope this works, so I think you can just click the link and fill in your details! If it works I'll maybe put it on the last page of the old thread so we can find it and then first page of the new thread! Also I think it's fully editable so feel free to change it around or whatever! And it may not work so let me know if not and I'll attempt to fix it!

mummy happy humping!!! Sending positive vibes!!! Also lol at fat club, reminds me of the Fat fighters sketch in little Britain! Loved that!
grumpy sorry you had a rough night, I hope the sunshine by the pool helped!
tigger and dancing sorry you guys are feeling anxious, it's all so overwhelming and there is no manual to deal with it, but it is acceptable and understandable that you would feel this way, it most definitely is ok not to be ok, and the lack of sleep will always make everything seem that bit more difficult, big love to you both xx
hb I'm also in the spot club, I would bloody love a really good facial!
penguin sorry about work seeming like such a dead end, a baby will refocus your priorities though and who knows what's around the corner, I took my current job simply for childcare reasons, that's what I prioritised, the job itself is miserable but it allows me to have the time I need with DS and I know now I'll be moving on soon and it all doesn't seem so bad!
jupiter and Charl I also worry about finances but I managed at 19 with no job and just after DH lost his job and it was tough but you just kind of adapt, my dad always says nobody can ever afford kids but yet people have them and the world continues to turn so I try to remind myself of that when I get in a panic..... Although Could be a case of me just sticking my head on the sand!!

Mummyme87 · 26/04/2017 21:05

Omg I've put on all the weight I lost plus half a pound 😤 I've drawn a line and will be on it.
I'm having lots of sharp pain in left pelvic/groin area.. I'm guessing that's my egg being released 😀😀

DancingUnicorn · 26/04/2017 20:31

Lol! Jupiter I'm only just leaving work. Hoping at least the bus home will be quicker than usual.

Tigger I'm sorry things are getting to you. Sounds like you've got lots of stuff going on, which sucks. It's all such a lot to handle already.

Mummy the egg catching will help with the weight!! ;)

Glad your day is improving grumpy.

This day is soon to be over, and I can get a new one to try. This one has sucked. Crying at work doesn't count if I'm doing it in the loo, right?!

HbH · 26/04/2017 20:29

Oh yes otters i will report back on the mysteries of shellac/gels when i see my friend! (I thought it was Friday i was seeing her but it's not for two weeks!)

HbH · 26/04/2017 20:23

Hope you catch the egg Mummy you've totally earnt it!

Sorry you've been struggling dancing & tigger I think you have to embrace the good days and look after yourselves on the bad days... things will absolutely get better... we've all been overwhelmed by your strength Flowers

Glad you're feeling better this morning grumpy it's cool you get some down time as well as work work work!

Very exciting for some testing coming up... we're definitely due another wave of juicy BFPs!

I'm sure most people worry about affording a baby Charl I don't think the babies themselves cost very much... just the mummies having to take a wage cut for a time! Currently trying to do lots of saving to cover the short fall!

Not much to report on here, apart from i have SPOTS 🙈 Like four have sprung up overnight... didn't even have them as a teenager, leave my face alone!

Mummyme87 · 26/04/2017 19:48

At fat club facing the music 🙈🐽 need to sort myself out!!!

Penguin27 · 26/04/2017 19:06

Glad you're feeling better and enjoying the sun grumpy!

I think you're right Jupiter, I think I'll be much less worried about my "career" when I've got a baby and realise that there's more important things in life.

TheGrumpySquirrel · 26/04/2017 18:07

Thanks all, I am fine this morning (it's 10am here) and squeezed in some more sleep from 5:30-6:30. Currently lying by the pool with my sister as meetings don't start till after lunch. The sun is absolute bliss! It's 25 degrees already! I hope tonight I can sleep better. It isn't anything in particular that caused the anxiety I think it's purely physiological - my body clock got confused and then when I feel unwell I start to panic because I feel unwell..

Buzz like away, I won't think you are a stalker! Will post more pics on insta soon - we are going to try and go surfing early Friday morning.

Tigger and dancing so sorry you are having a tough time emotionally. It's totally understandable - remember that it's ok to feel down and overwhelmed. Be kind to yourselves x

Mummy I hope your jet lag gets better too! And hope you catch the egg! Fx for you this cycle!

HeyJupiter · 26/04/2017 17:53

Yay mummy great news about the static face! It’s ovulation time :) Thanks for the info on sleeping positions too, so helpful having your expert input.

So excited for our testers next week - I love testing mornings the best Grin

Dancing are you home from work now? And if so are you feeling a bit better? I’m so sorry you’ve felt so shocking today. Penguin is right though that there is absolutely no reason why you can’t do this, you know you can get pregnant which is an excellent first step. It will happen for you Flowers The sleep deprivation is going to be compounding all of this too - especially the work stuff. You’ve totally got this! You’ll be okay :)

Tigger so sorry you’re having such a rubbish time too. Your first cycle after what happened is going to stir up so many feelings isn’t it. One day at a time my lovely.

Thanks for putting up the list JB we’ve become a massive group haven’t we. Love it. A spreadsheet would be amazing though MrsC if you can create such magical technology.

Oh charl whenever I sit down and think about finances I feel the same. The thing is I know that somehow we will cope and adapt. There are a surprising number of areas in our life that we could definitely cut down on cost wise (from mobile phones, to netflix, to even just being more careful about not wasting food) so maybe you’re the same? I know it’s so stressful though Flowers

Penguin so sorry you’re feeling stuck at work. that is the most frustrating position to be in. I wonder whether when you have a baby it might matter a bit less? At least for a little while. It’s so hard though.

grumpy how is the anxiety today? That degree of jet lag must be awful.

otters really pleased you’re feeling better today. The blood test result you had means very little in terms of your cycle so roll on Friday and a re-test :)

orange where are you at cycle wise at the moment?

Big virtual hug to all those that need it today xx

otters2017 · 26/04/2017 17:32

How's everyone doing today? Am feeling much calmer and hopeful today. Just got to keep going no matter what.

mrsc ooh let us know what the maternity wear from asos is like.

hb do let me know what your friend says. I'm intrigued. Even if it's the ic light, it's just on your toenails. Surely can't be harmful.

orange I am glad a few people know as it's so hard to bottle it all up and act normal when some days I just want to sit in a corner and cry. Really helpful that she's been through infertility and treatments and can give advice as well!

mummy hurrah for the static smiley. Go get that egg Wink

penguin hope you ovulate this month. How long are your cycles normally ?

jb yes will probably be testing next week or maybe the week after if blood result is good. Think tigger and penguin and mummy will be testing too

grumpy sorry to hear about your jet lag. Hope you get over it quickly.

dancing sorry you're feeling anxious. Sounds like you, penguin, tigger and I can join you in the dark room to cry. It's so hard isn't it, we do need to be kinder to ourselves ! Sending lots of hugs ❤ and Flowers

charl don't let the finances put you off. It's possible and you're right , there's never really a right time. Life is full of surprises and you just don't know what's round the corner.

jb thanks for the updated list. Will have to update my possible BFP date based on blood results on Friday. mrsc agree with seven spreadsheet us! Smile

Seven0fNine · 26/04/2017 17:06

Thanks JB and yes MrsC spreadsheet us! I would but I haven't a clue!

Charl I Deffo can't afford a baby but I know people survive on alot less than us anddddd I just am so broody I can't wait any longer! Mr Seven is hopefully gonna start bringing home many more ££'s shortly and then I can quit work and become a housewife 😂

Sorry you ladies are feeling so low. Sending lots of love and positive thoughts xx

Redpony1 · 26/04/2017 16:22

Jupiter yay!!! That's amazing!!

Oh Grumpy i hope you get more sleep tonight Sad

Tigger & Dancing have some virtual hugs Flowers

buzzmoon · 26/04/2017 15:55

Oh grumpy that's shit! Sorry you've had a terrible first night your sister sounds lovely. Do you know what's making you feel panicky? Your photos look amazing though! I am so jealous! I want to like them all but don't want to look like some crazy stalker 😂

dancing that feeling is awful! You said your managers were quite supportive of your mc, can they off load your work a bit just still you're feeling better? Sometimes having a big cry is the best thing ❤️

tigger you've been through so much in the past few weeks I can completely understand. Take some time and don't put any pressure on yourself you'll get through it, just one day at a time ❤️

mummy get your sexy pants on!

Mummyme87 · 26/04/2017 15:11

tigger and dancing lots of love to you both... and anyone else that needs a virtual hug. The TTC process is so hard and throws so many emotions, particularly when you have had a loss. Take care of yourselves and take one step/day at a time.

What a truly miserable day it has turned in to, no sleet to speak of in south London.. yet. I've just put DS down for a nap, I really need to shower and get dressed but it feels so hard! Desperate to go and do a big food shop as well. Restarting slimming world tonight as well and truly fell off the wagon and the scales don't look pretty 🙈😐
I was feeling some pelvic twinges I short while ago... could be ovulation 🤞🏻

Tigger83 · 26/04/2017 14:49

Hi all, feeling completely overwhelmed by life today. Stressed out about the ttc process and exhausted by the emotional roller coaster. Got such a lot going on in my personal life as well that's taking a lot of juggling.

I just want to fast forward 6 months. I'm trying not to symptom spot but I am and it's stressing me out e.g. Think I feel implantation pains but don't want to get my hopes up and be completely let down.

Struggling at work this week a bit. Locked myself in a booth to try and focus and get away from people as I feel quite emotional.
