Ouch grumpy that looks sore! Sounds like you're having an amazing time though! Hope you don't have to work too hard!

hb sorry you have to work today :(

jb that is brutal!! Enjoy these days off for sure!

otters enjoy Italy! A well deserved break after a shit few weeks you've had. Forget TTC and enjoy the pizza and ice cream 😋

JB1983 · 29/04/2017 08:24

Haha Hb I also thought that grumpy was showing us she had found somewhere who would do shellac on pregnant ladies. Wow grumpy that does look painful. Have a nice weekend in LA hobbling about and exploring.

Italy sounds lovely otters and a great distraction from the TWW.

That's sucks that your working Hb, but nice that a couple of your friends know about baby Hb.

I am going to enjoy my first day off after working 12 days in a row. Back in on Monday though for more torture. I usually love my job but having the pressure of set up and testing of this new system has had me totally stressed out.

HbH · 29/04/2017 07:49

Jeez grumpy that looks sore... this is why i only ever lounge on a beach!! None of this extreme sport!! I did look at the pic before reading and thought you were showing us a mani pedi... didn't even notice the angry toe!! Hope the rest of the weekend is fun & injury free!

Have an amazing time in Italy otters whereabouts are you off to?

Gotta work today 🙄 Why do i do this to myself!

Told two of my besties last night (in case i need to sack off the party probs will ) they were super excited, and asked lots of questions that only people who have done it before would! Good to have them onboard!

DancingUnicorn · 29/04/2017 00:35

Oo, grumpy the toe looks really sore. :( But the sunshine looks amazing! Hope you enjoy dinner and a good couple of days before having to work again Monday. (Sucks!)

TheGrumpySquirrel · 29/04/2017 00:23

Otters enjoy your mini break! I love Italy 🇮🇹

Seven and buzz your evenings sounds so cosy and lovely! I'm knackered - trying to get some energy to go out for dinner later! Still no nausea though woop!

TheGrumpySquirrel · 29/04/2017 00:21

Congrats haribo!

Mummy I've got everything crossed for you this cycle!

I did NCT last time (actually maybe it was the NHS one I can't remember). Was not planning to bother this time but maybe it is good to make local friends who will have their babies at a similar time.

Well we tried to surf, it was quite calm at first (see pic) but when we returned with our hire boards the waves were so strong it was so scary! My sister did better than me but I got put off because I smashed my toe on a rock and I think it's broken 🙈 just a little one though so I can still walk.. FFS!

After surfing we got our taxi to LA proper, we are now in a hotel on the beach in Santa Monica - the hotel isn't as nice as the countryside one but hey, right on the beach. Had a nice lunch in the sun, toe is sore but not too bad. We are going to have a quiet one tonight then explore SM and Venice beach at the weekend. Monday is not a bank holiday over here so I have lots of meetings - boo! Although I've basically done no work today so..

Congrats haribo exciting news!

Fx for this cycle young. Sorry AF got you

mummy that is weird but apparently you can also get ewcm post ovulation and it's a sign that you ovulated ? I'm not sure if it's true.

Have a lovely bank holiday weekend everyone. We are off to Italy tomorrow for a much needed break and to celebrate DH birthday. Will try to check in when I can and send you some sunshine and a lovely pic of the coast Smile

JB1983 · 28/04/2017 22:21

Haha seven that is brilliant! I bet you got a few giggles!

I cried at this weeks obem, can't imagine what it's like to watch it when you are expecting!

Fx it's a sticky bean haribo. How many DPO were you when you tested? Do you have any symptoms yet?

if I caught I'd be the 12th Jan, so close to mummy, although not feeling very hopeful that it's been a successful cycle.

Mummyme87 · 28/04/2017 21:29

Yes hb if I caught this month I would be due around 18th January

HbH · 28/04/2017 21:15

That's so funny Seven Glad you didn't have to chat for too long today! Must be nerve wracking!!

God Buzz I absolutely couldnt watch One Born! Enjoying ignorance!

Everything crossed for you Mummy & our other TWWers! I wonder if we're on to new years babies now??

HariboFrenzy · 28/04/2017 21:05

Thanks everyone! I'm in shock tbh! First cycle trying, was not expecting it to happen. We're very lucky indeed. Just hoping luck stays with us as unfortunately hearing lots of bad news atm.

Lots of baby dust to all, especially those testing next week xx

Seven0fNine · 28/04/2017 20:52

Wooo go haribo

Haha buzz I'm catching up too...only on episode 2. Hope you enjoyed the Chinese... Got my pjs, wine, dark choc and snuggled up on the couch!! Heaven!

jupiter I did have to talk but only 5 mins at the end...Last time I had to do it I had put a slide in my presentation with a picture on to test it but forgot to delete the slide before the actual thing and ended up showing a room full of people in a lecture theatre a picture of my feet from the couch in my sleepy socks!!!!! Blush Blush

Mummyme87 · 28/04/2017 20:30

Fab haribo congratulations!!

otters I'm CD16, 2dpo, I have 26day cycles on average, 12day LP.. although I ovulated on CD13 this month.
Had some more ewcm this evening, cervix is high firm and closed so not fertile. Weird

buzzmoon · 28/04/2017 20:12

Oh god guys major emotional rollercoaster watching one born. I'm a mess 😂😂 but to summarise my emotions- what if I can't push it out 😱

HbH · 28/04/2017 20:08

Congrats haribo no denying when it's there in writing!

buzzmoon · 28/04/2017 19:48

Wow haribo!! That's so good and not fmu! How are you feeling?! Congrats!

JB1983 · 28/04/2017 19:42

Congratulations haribo no mistaking that!

HariboFrenzy · 28/04/2017 19:35

I have a variety of different tests stocked up buzz 😂. How long is to your wedding now? We have also just ordered a Chinese and plan to have a wee movie night.

That's exciting that we have two 12 week scans in the same week buzz and jupiter

Yeah wiggley I think it's meant to help with focusing.

youngmummy3105 · 28/04/2017 18:50

Thank you JB I am using agnus castus this cycle to see if that helps as well x

buzzmoon · 28/04/2017 18:18

jupiter that's really exciting!! Mines on the 9th so that will be a great week! :)

wiggly I think it's supposed to focus the camera on the centre of it but I don't think it does!

2ww-ers, have you all got internet cheapies?? :)

I'm finally home after my week away and so glad to be! Ordered a Chinese and catching up on one born and the mummy diaries! Got a lazy day tomorrow then final checks of wedding venue on Sunday! Exciting! :)

Wiggleyfingers · 28/04/2017 18:11

Excited for all the testers this week!
I'm sure this is a silly question - but does anyone know why people put their rings around pregnancy tests? Is there a reason that I'm missing?!

JB1983 · 28/04/2017 17:59

Ditto Jupiter I'm also at family birthday celebrations this weekend. Hoping the distraction of a busy weekend will stop me symptom spotting or poas far too early 😂

Good luck for this cycle young

youngmummy3105 · 28/04/2017 17:49

Hi all, AF finished this morning so now to wait for ovulation day! X

HeyJupiter · 28/04/2017 17:48

Thanks Penguin, buzz and otters I actually spoke to them today and they’ve put it forward to Friday May 12th so in exactly two weeks time. It’s better than the following monday in regards to our holiday so really appreciate them being kind enough to move it. Still glad we have the private scan this week though as a fortnight would seem unbearably long having not had it… and now we can relax a bit it doesn’t seem like any time at all.

Aghh seven did you have to present in the end? Am impressed at how calm you seemed, I would have been terrified :)

Definitely pull the preggo card Hb that sounds exhausting! Really hope you get a better nights sleep tonight lovely.

mummy thank you for the NCT info, that’s really helpful. I’m definitely going to look into it closer to the time.

otters that seems much better and could easily be higher in a few days as mummy said. You know you ovulated late so that would all make sense. This could be the month. Really really hoping it is for you :)

Yay for the bank holiday, seeing family this weekend for a birthday gathering (not mine) and then hanging out with DH for the rest of the time. What are you guys all up to? x
