Sorry work sucks parsnips. It seems a few people have seen the negative side of TTC 'chaining' them to a job cos the alternative is losing mat benefits. It must be so frustrating. Maybe this is your month and you'll get to say bye to them earlier than planned!!

I spent some time yesterday reading a very dry document about Maternity Allowance to double check I'll be entitled - I'm self employed - I'm pretty sure i am but sent it to my business manager Dad to have a read through too! It's a fraction of my earnings but I originally thought I'd get nothing so i suppose i should be grateful!

Thanks ladies.yeah seven it came up within the time. I am feeling hopeful but actually quite glad DH thinks it's nothing as he is away on a stag weekend on Friday with my brother and 3 of my friends husbands and he probably couldn't keep his big gob shit once he has a drink in him 😂 So just going to tell him once he's back if it turns out to be a true positive.

So after feeling on and off queasy yesterday I caved and tested this morning at 10DPO. I think I see a line, it's very faint and not really pink. DH is not convinced at all but he hasn't seen the hundreds of posts about squinters that I have

JB i had a day around 7dpo where i was SO rough and felt so sick (luckily was a sunday so could lie around feeling sorry for myself!) obvs too early for morning sickness but maybe a hormone boast around implantation?? Hopefully a good sign anyways!

Had a lovely afternoon having a walk in the forest with sisters & nephew... 18 months... so cute! Then battered haloumi at my local which i was craving (i crave this preggo or not!) Then back to mine and ended up looking at lots of old photos, many cringe, but fab memories all the same!

hb and jupiter I may have one eight tests in my suitcase! I bulked order one step pregnancy tests before our holiday. Not sure when I'll be testing as I'm hoping I ovulated late. Period due tomorrow so if no period will wait a few days before testing. So nerve wrecking!

tigger sending lots of hugs and happy thoughts. Im glad you didn't bring any tests with you or the temptation will be too strong. Nothing we can do now can change the outcome so just have to wait and see. I may join you with testing on thurs as I'll prob cave by then unless AF shows up first

My oh and I are away so I've just come back from the spa after the test the morning my view is I'm going to view it as a negative until otherwise confirmed which means have a few drinks and relax. It's just in the back of my mind. I'm testing again on Thursday no tests with me this weekend on purpose as it's about us not ttc

Hi all, urgh have had vomiting bug for last 36 hours but finally feeling a bit better. Relieved really that looks like it was a bug rather than the onset of some dreadful late stage morning sickness. Anyway roll on rest of bank holiday and some recovery time :)

Tigger it's probably too early for anything to show. Really hope you get a bfp when you test, but can understand you not wanting to get your hopes up. Breathe, take just one minute at a time if you need to. Is there anything you can do as a distraction? Film/book?

Evening ladies! Please talk me down from the edge of insanity!! 9dpo took a test this am bfn- as expected..... however I feel the same as I did when pregnant.... wee smells weird, emotional, feeling rolling sickness and starting to get sore boobs and greasy hair. I don't want to get my hopes up as I really don't think I can be but it's making me feel hopeful... also had the tiniest bit of a spot today which would make sense as last time I think I implanted at this time.... I'm scared I'm going to crash if I get bfn

Urgh. Definitely have a UTI 😟 Symptoms all came back. Drinking water with bicarbonate of soda 🤢 And taken some penicillin I had in from tonsillitis earlier in the year
