Thanks mummy for the helpful explanation! It's exactly 2 weeks till my scan now - I can't wait. I think Hb has hers on the Monday 22 and I've got mine on Friday 26 May. No more spotting thankfully.

Seven eeek when is AF due??

Penguin27 · 12/05/2017 19:27

Aw Wilde, congratulations! Smile

It's great that we have mummy here to give us all advice and reassurance!

That's very kind of you otters, if you have any cupcakes spare tomorrow feel free to send them my way!

I'm not doing anything this weekend - can't wait! Grin

HeyJupiter · 12/05/2017 19:25

Thanks mummy that’s a really clear and helpful explanation :)

Ohh Wilde look at those lovely little legs. What a gorgeous picture.

Enjoy the cupcake baking otters, sounds really fun.

Very excited for you seven, really hope it’s your month. Lots of crossed fingers here for you!

Seven0fNine · 12/05/2017 19:21

Argggh Jupiter soooooo cute! I'm calling it now.. you're having a boy xx
They look like so big on the scans dont they? How big is it really?

wilde I love the little wild legs on yours! So sweet!

I'm an estimated 8do...pretending that the tww isn't happening, ignoring "symptoms"and getting on with life...ha! Not testing until AF is Deffo late...plus I've misplaced my new ic tests...... Hmmmm

I'd always wondered why they always change people's dates when they knew when ov was, so good having mummy here...she is so wise 😂

buzzmoon · 12/05/2017 18:33

Also seven could be a sign!! Bring on next week testing!!

buzzmoon · 12/05/2017 18:30

Well done mummy 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 excellent explanation! I suppose the EDD means absolutely nothing really! And even for my work, they use the EWD so I have to plan a week ahead anyway as my EDD falls on a few Friday have to use the Monday for work :)

Mummyme87 · 12/05/2017 18:20

They use Nuchal scan for EDD as babies are more or less the same size at that gestation therefore relatively accurate for dates. With using ovulation etc, you can never pin point the date and time the sperm hit the egg, the blastocyst implanted etc. They still aren't 100% but closest you can get... not that babies come on due dates, 5% of babies come on their EDD, remember it's normal to be born between 37-42weeks 🙂

No nap today and I'm doubtful about a break on my night tonight due to lack of senior staff to cover me 😟

otters2017 · 12/05/2017 18:19

parsnips glad you've arrived safely. Hope some family time will help.

grumpy sorry about your sister's friend. Hope the spotting stops, im sure it's nothing to worry about.

jupiter great scan! Waves to baby jupes Smile

Hello to little wilde boy too!

I'm so glad it's Friday. Really looking forward to the weekend. Have a girly catch up planned and a wedding cupcake tasting - I'm baking 100 cupcakes for a friend's wedding in July. Eek!
Anyone got any exciting plans?

NaturWilde · 12/05/2017 17:57

Here's little Wilde boy! 9+2. Looking forward to the next one at the end of the month!

Yours is brilliant Jupiter. Curious about the dates though!

At both of my early scans the baby measured one day ahead. Which is possible if I ovulated earlier than I thought within the 24 hour period...

buzzmoon · 12/05/2017 17:48

My new date is 4 days off from when I know we conceived too! grumpy looks amazing!!

HeyJupiter · 12/05/2017 17:45

Thanks guys :) So happy and so in love.

grumpy that's what I thought! It's a bit confusing. Maybe mummy can shed some light on that? I definitely wasn't 4 days out with my ovulation date.. hmm.

Also mummy is the quadruple test still pretty accurate? But disappointed they couldn't do it but also not end of the world. Nothing can take away the joy of seeing our little one squiggling around on the screen.

Penguin27 · 12/05/2017 17:45

Amazing Jupiter, so happy for you! Grin

DancingUnicorn · 12/05/2017 17:41

Gorgeous Jupiter! So glad it all went well! :D

TheGrumpySquirrel · 12/05/2017 17:38

I'm confused, surely if you know when you ovulated they can't just change the dates?

TheGrumpySquirrel · 12/05/2017 17:37

Ahhh Jupiter so cute!!!!

No more spotting here as far as I can tell. Just showered post poolside nap in the sun which was bliss. I've got to do an hour's work then heading to find some dinner and research what to do in Barcelona tomorrow.

Hope everyone has a lovely evening x

Yay! So happy jupiter, really pleased everything was okay :) you're 5 days ahead of me now! baby jupes looks beautiful! Just perfect! :)

Mummyme87 · 12/05/2017 17:32

Beautiful scan picture jupiter glad everything looked good

HeyJupiter · 12/05/2017 17:28

I'm finally back! Introducing BabyJupes all looking very good. No concerns at all, very wriggley and very gorgeous. Due to positioning couldn't do the nuchal fold measurement but will have quadruple test in couple of weeks. Measuring further along at 12+5 so official due date of 19th November. So relieved and happy, thank you for all the support xx ps took me ages as my bladder wasn't full enough. Had to have transvaginal scan in the end which was fine.

JB1983 · 12/05/2017 14:22

Grumpy sorry about your sisters friend. What a tragic story Flowers. I hope your spotting has stopped, must be a worry when your away from home.

parsnips glad you made the flight ok. Sob as much as you need, it's good for the soul!

dancing I never once waited on pee reaching room temperature.

I've never used the clear blue ovulation monitor hoping so sorry can't help you.

seven maybe the extra tiredness is a good sign. How many DPO are you now?

Penguin sorry you have nausea already, but yes a great excuse to keep munching on biscuits.

Hb I've only every been brace enough to get my eyebrows waxed. Hope your recovering now 😂

Mummyme87 · 12/05/2017 14:03

grumpy hopefully the spotting is just a one off. If it happens again or you're anxious you could pop into EPU on Monday morning..

dancing receptionist knows at work as I have her my self referral form yesterday. I suspect it will filter through in a few weeks time

Seven0fNine · 12/05/2017 13:59

grumpy hope everything is OK. Try not to worry too much xxx sorry to hear about sisters friend.

parsnips glad you are nearly home x

nice tests there mummy haha you're such a POAS addict! I love it x

I'm so tired this afternoon, just had a little snooze on the couch now lying here snuggled up with the heating on and my furry blanket! I'm supposed to be working!!!

HeyJupiter · 12/05/2017 13:59

Oh grumpy what dreadful news about your sisters friend. I'm so very sorry, what a tragic thing to happen Flowers Try not to worry too much about the spotting, am sure it's nothing but of course you need to get it checked out. Thinking of you.

Thanks for the good wishes guys. Am drinking my pint of water and we'll be leaving for the hospital shortly. Am likely to be hanging around for ages in phlebotomy afterwards but will update you asap

Penguin27 · 12/05/2017 13:53

Glad the tests have reassured you mummy!

Sorry about the spotting grumpy! I hope you're enjoying a nice nap. Try not to worry, stress isn't going to help anything... easier said than done!

Glad you've arrived safely parsnips, hopefully some time with family will help xx
