That's crazy mummy is that the whole spa or just the treatment area? The center parcs i went to was really geared up for preggos... they marked the map up with symbols to denote which rooms you were allowed in... not that many but still had a lovely day!

I have mad energy today from somewhere! Bought a new smaller desk for the study (from shpock, so second hand but like new and only a tenner!) there's lots of furniture moving that needs to happen to free up the nursery to be! Also listing some more stuff on sell my wedding that I've stumbled across! (Really good site for anyone looking for stuff pre wedding/getting rid of stuff post wedding!) Then out for a few errands with my sis & making a roast for dinner when DH back from work!!

Expecting a crash at some point tho!!

buzzmoon · 07/05/2017 12:28

That seems very extreme, must only be to cover their backs! Just go and enjoy. Relaxing will be good for you :)

What's everyone up to today?

DancingUnicorn · 07/05/2017 12:14

Mummy that seems seriously extreme!! Surely a bit of chill time is good for you! If you're not worried, just don't mention it.

Sorry about bfn orange. Fx it's just not showing up yet.

Mummyme87 · 07/05/2017 12:04

Got an email from the spa they said you aren't allowed to enter the spa at all under 12weeks 🤔 That is very extreme. I think I will keep quiet, I'm not worried. As long as they aren't using clary sage oil which I'm sure they won't as it stinks.

Sorry about the BFN orange stay positive

TheGrumpySquirrel · 07/05/2017 12:00

Oh so I meant to say I'd just keep quiet if I were you mummy unless you are worried

TheGrumpySquirrel · 07/05/2017 11:59

My massage therapist says they are meant to not massage at all in first tri (just in case you miscarry and then sue them I think!). It's not like they are kneading your abdomen! Personally I think the oils thing is bollocks!!! I hate how policed pregnancy is. My lady is "old school" (her words) and is happy to keep massaging me (deep tissue every fortnight).

HeyJupiter · 07/05/2017 11:29

orange sorry about the FRER this morning but it's still really early days. Good luck for in a couple of days :) x

HbH · 07/05/2017 11:28

mummy judging by my experience with a gel pedi they might say no! Really hope they don't but get the feeling they like to err on the side of caution! I got a full refund (obvs would have rather had the pedi!)

orangefolly · 07/05/2017 11:13

mummy I re-tested this morning with a FRER but still got a BFN. Weird, as I feel different this month, but will just wait a couple of days and see what happens. I could well just be psyching myself out! Fx for your spa treatment. Sure it will be a lovely day either way.

HeyJupiter · 07/05/2017 11:00

Glad the ovia bakery is going down well!

That's so lovely mummy, what a wonderful feeling and an excellent way of announcing. You and your OH totally deserve some spa treatment, fingers crossed you can still have the massage x

buzzmoon · 07/05/2017 10:56

Awh mummy that's so sweet! :) I'm sure your treatment will be fine!! Very jealous! I really fancy a massage!

Mummyme87 · 07/05/2017 10:45

Thank you orange when are you retesting? Did you use an IC? I got nothing on an IC yesterday and a very faint line on one today. They are very non sensitive. FX for you.

So hoping this pregnancy continues, I have booked a treatment in the spa at centre parcs next week... it's a dual treatment for me and OH, head, neck and shoulder massage with a facial (so excited) but just realised if I tick the box for pregnancy they might not do it 🤔 I've emailed them to ask. I can't see what the issue is at 5weeks, I believe it's to do with oils... I'm praying it's okay

orangefolly · 07/05/2017 10:36

Massive congratulations mummy - really pleased for you x

Mummyme87 · 07/05/2017 10:17

So I told OH... well DS said 'daddy! Look at my t shirt'. He was all smiley and says he is very happy and excited 😊 He also said people would all say we obviously had a very good time in New York 😂

buzz t shirt says 'I'm going to be a big brother' now I just need to persuade him to take it off!! Polarn o pyret is usually based on department stores like John Lewis, fenwicks, bentalls (depends what you have locally). They also have a shop in Westfield, Shepherd's Bush. Often have sales and offers on. I bought a load of stuff for DD in January sales from John Lewis and House of Fraser.

TheGrumpySquirrel · 07/05/2017 09:46

Thanks buzz! I have a canapé Grin

buzzmoon · 07/05/2017 09:43

buzzmoon · 07/05/2017 09:32

buzzmoon · 07/05/2017 09:29

grumpy really sorry to hear about your sisters friend, I really hope she's okay ❤️

Mummyme87 · 07/05/2017 09:12

I've just moved to Ovia pregnancy. We are the size of fleur de sel... a grain of salt used in salted caramel sweets 😂 I must stop getting so excited it's so early 😣 But yes to baby clothes shopping grumpy

HeyJupiter · 07/05/2017 09:04

I've got a profiterole! I like the Parisian bakery theme on Ovia Grin

HbH · 07/05/2017 08:59

I've got a kumquat!! & the hand size is more than a dot now which is cute!

I've had some short sharp pains yesterday and today, hopefully just a bit more stretching out!

Very exciting with scan dates on the horizon.

I found Polarn O Pyret do fab clothes, a lot of very unisex stuff particularly for babies. Expensive but good quality and stretch. DS was 10lb 5oz and he fit in their 0-1m vest for 3months

TheGrumpySquirrel · 07/05/2017 08:51

Hb mine is on 26th, yay. I'm 9 weeks today and have a pecan nut!

HbH · 07/05/2017 08:42

Grumpy on mon 22nd.... can't wait to hit TK Maxx, they're so good for quirky baby bits... yours are so cute
