Opks and pregnancy

Can anyone help please I'm due AF in 6 days.
I ovulated last Tuesday/Wednesday have the opks to say I did 🙂.
Anywaysate Monday night/ early hours Tuesday I had some pinching, pulling and cramps ( thought it might be implantation) today I've had to stop myself from been sick twice whilst out. I have no pregnancy tests at home so thought right see if opk picks anything up and it has, both lines are of same darkness. Could this mean it's picked up pregnancy 🙂🙂.

From yesterday 8dpo I took one today and both lines again are dark. @BasinHaircut is 1 day behind me and she took opk and hers was negative, it's on my other thread xx

All I'm saying is OPKs are not better at picking up pregnancy than pregnancy tests. If pregnancy hormones were strong enough to be picked up by an OPK yesterday afternoon then they would be even stronger today and a pregnancy test would detect them.

My advice for what it's worth is to step away from all tests for about 3 days then take a pregnancy test with FMU. The result is likely to be a accurate. You can really drive yourself nuts with constant testing and speculation.

@Oysterbabe would it be so dark if there was just a lh surge, @BasinHaircut is just one day behind me and she took an opk yesterday to see if it picked pregnancy up and hers was completely negative she posted a pic on my other thread both my lines are dark as each other and hers there's nowt there. I'm confused. Xx

I know what you mean @Oysterbabe yesterday's opk was 3rd wee of the day so still concentrated. As soon as it lets me I will upload pics of today's test and today's opk xx

I'm not saying you aren't pregnant but the OPKs you did yesterday weren't fmu either so it wasn't pregnancy hormone causing the line on those. FX for you.

@Oysterbabe it wasn't my fmu if was my 8th (I haven't drank anything before doing test apart from half a cuppa) I had to force the wee out to do it . The opk I done this morning both lines dark again.im still only 9dpo xx

Unless you are tracking your temps I think it's impossible to actually know you have ovulated and the sticks only measure the surge. I also get random pains throughout my cycle and they are not all ovulation. Hope you get your bfp soon.

I think this shows that the OPKs weren't picking up pregnancy hormones unfortunately. If there was enough hormone to be detected by an OPK yesterday at 1 then it would be picked up by a FRER today.

Negative but it wasn't fmu it was about 8th wee. Where the other test was fmu xx
