So we are rolling on to thread #five –
We are not giving up, our PMA is still alive.

Put pure and simply,
We want to have babies,
God, please help everyone of these lovely ladies.

We support each other,
We are funny and kind,
And we will not be giving up,
Until we see that thick BFP line.

Archie's iv been baby bombed 5 times this cycle not even kidding FIVE!!!!

Plus coming close to my due date soon so a BFP before that would help 😭

ArchiesMamaBird · 06/05/2017 22:12

Just been baby bombed AGAIN 😩 I think CD1 is possibly the worst day to get baby bombed!

But my amazing DS kept coming up to me all day saying "are you alright Mommy? I make you all better with a kiss" He is so amazing and I am so lucky to have him, I just need to remember this when the PMA starts slipping 💙

AmandaP86x · 06/05/2017 21:59

blondie you certainly are lucky to have a little one ... some of us 38 year olds are still ttc #1. Glad to hear dh is looking after you. Be kind to yourself and seek out that Pma .... I appreciate it's an utter shit blow but like I said earlier miracles happen daily xxx

Blondienut · 06/05/2017 18:17

Thanks ladies. Yes AMH was tested because we were at fertility clinic. Age 38 and 8 months ttc - I would urge all of you over 35 to get referral after 6 months trying . You are entitled to it on NHS.

My dh is a rock. I am so thankful for my 6yr old (from another relationship) and it feels selfish being upset and so devastated when I already have one. Before my 6yr old I had a tfmr due to anencephaly and I was in a state of fear for most of my pregnancy after that. Really praying for a miracle so I can have more and enjoy a pregnancy with my now dh. I will allow multself misery for tomorrow and then try the PMA for Monday!

MissMagpie · 06/05/2017 17:55

Just catching up and this is proving to be a horrible weekend for some of you.

So sorry about AF turning up Hippy and Archies. Good PMA though. We are stronger than the witch, even if she is stubborn.

I am so sorry to hear your news Blondie. I really hope the consultant can give you some constructive advice of what to do next. I have everything crossed for you that there is something that can be done. Xxx

hopingforabfp · 06/05/2017 17:19

Hi all, I bought the clear blue dual hormone OPKs today. When is it that I should start testing on a 35 day cycle would you say? I usually ovulate around day 25. Xx

Hippychic79 · 06/05/2017 17:18

blondie make sure you get the support you need from friends, family etc and maybe try some holistic therapies ... big hugs xxx

Anna2006 · 06/05/2017 14:02

No worries Blondie. We can't be PMA all the time especially when hit with blows like that. How come your AMH was tested? Is it because you were going for investigation due to length of ttc?

Fingers crossed your consultant appointment can be arranged soon an you can get the info you need! And then you will know where to go from there!

Xx

Blondienut · 06/05/2017 13:54

Thanks ladies really appreciate the kind and encouraging words. I guess we will know more after we see consultant. Sorry for bringing the mood down x

Hippychic79 · 06/05/2017 13:36

blondie I'm soooooo sorry to read this .... I guess nothing any of us can say will help you feel better but I will try .....
The doctors are not always right .... a friend of mine got diagnosed with a terminal illness 10 years ago and given 6-12 months to live ... she is still alive and doing well.

This may seem like a big bump in the road but please be assured that miracles happen every day and where there's a will there is a way .... a good book to prove this point is you are the placebo by dr joe dizpenza it's not about ttc but it does highlight the power of the mind body connection.

I am sending you lots of virtual hugs right now xxx

Oh Blondie 😔 It's gutting news. Understand how upset you must be. Yes same as Archie I have heard people do thing to improve their egg equality etc. I know AMH determines how good the eggs are and how long you have left. So maybe there are things that could be tried?

I know IVF your ovaries need to respond to the drugs and make lots of eggs to collect as so many get lost in the process in hope that there is one to put in at the end. But I'm sure there is someone who can help you! It just might take several IVF attempts! Wait for you appointment and see what they say.

😤😤😤😤 this is not a good weekend!!

ArchiesMamaBird · 06/05/2017 13:25

Oh Blondie, I am so, so sorry. I feel awful or for moaning about AF showing again. I've just had a quick Google and it looks like there are private treatments available to try and raise your AMH level (don't quote me on that, I'm out at the mo so couldn't really check). But even if it means paying to go private, there might be some options you could to better your chances of IVF?

Blondienut · 06/05/2017 13:05

I'm 38 and from what I can gather the range should be 5.5 - 37 . 5.5 being the low end of normal. I think even if it was 2 or 3 there would still be problems. I only had the results over the phone so need to arrange an appointment to discuss but from my research ivf only option unless I get a miracle in the meantime. Unfortunately as my egg reserve is low I don't think I would respond well to drugs so chances of ivf working aren't great.

I haven't stopped crying for 24hrs.... devastated is the only way I can describe. Trying to read positive stories to give me hope but I don't want false hope iykwim

Anna2006 · 06/05/2017 13:01

What your AMH was 1 blonde? What does that mean? I don't know enough about it I don't think. What should it be?

Sophsta · 06/05/2017 13:00

Oh hippy I'm so sorry. At least AF is now here and you can focus on the next cycle.

Blondienut I'm so sorry to you too. Have they discussed next steps at all? You must be devastated.

Blondienut · 06/05/2017 12:50

Ladies I need some serious PMA. Got result of my AMH yesterday - bad news at only 1. Apparently too low for clomid to work and potentially too low for ivf to produce a good amount of eggs (apparently nhs refuse funding if you have a low AMH as little chance of success). I am absolutely devastated and finding it hard to remain positive- help!

ArchiesMamaBird · 06/05/2017 12:33

Yay Hippy we're cycle buddies again for this month Smile

Hippychic79 · 06/05/2017 12:21

The witch is here yaaaaaaay xxxxx

ArchiesMamaBird · 06/05/2017 11:57

Anna this ttc is a real mind fuck isn't it!! I swear everybody around me seems to be pregnant at the mo and we're rolling into month 11 and some days I can't fathom how it hasn't worked yet 😩

And AF is finally here, so I'm going to treat her well and then tell her to do one for the next 9 months Grin

Anna2006 · 06/05/2017 09:18

Yeh I've tried googling an most things say 3-7 days for period. 2 can be normal. But that wasn't ever what I had before. Like there a lot shorter than pre miscarriage. I don't know what to think. But now it's in my head I can't get it out!

CakesALot · 06/05/2017 09:10

Oh poo, I'm so sorry guys. Definitely thought we'd be due some bfps this weekend. Love the 3 things and the PMA push. It'll see you through. Lots of love ladies xx

Hippychic79 · 06/05/2017 09:04

Thanks ladies xxx

Oh Anna, I'm afraid that I don't know much about short periods and if it affects your fertility. But I know there's nothing worse than worrying and not knowing if there's something wrong. Have you tried googling it? I think sometimes that if these GP's and nurses don't specialise in fertility then they don't really know a lot about it.
