So we are rolling on to thread #five –
We are not giving up, our PMA is still alive.

Put pure and simply,
We want to have babies,
God, please help everyone of these lovely ladies.

We support each other,
We are funny and kind,
And we will not be giving up,
Until we see that thick BFP line.

Dolly You're absolutely spot on, I believe i am a whole 3 DPO, so right now as I type and for the next however many days, my fertilized egg is implanting .... how's that for PMA lol. #thinkyourselfpregnant Seriously, though I'm ok thank you for asking.

OK so my 3 things for today are -

  1. Magpie's BFP .... can i have that?
  2. I have another friend coming for dinner tonight, so another successful night of taking my mind out of the 2ww
  3. I have just had a delicious lunch which makes a lovely change from boring soup

MissMagpie · 26/04/2017 12:45

I found a FRER in Boots...
I have fiddled with the brightness settings on the photo as it doesn't show as well on the pic as in real life... but could this be it?!!! It is still quite faint

So I am 11dpo, CD 32, cycle 10 of ttc #2.

Thanks hippy - I intend to for a little while longer at least! How you getting on? 3 or 4dpo for you is it?? Hopefully it's a fast TWW with a bug juicy positive at the end of it!

Glad you're relatively symtom free bella - I felt like my symtoms worsened the more tired I got so hopefully by sleeping loads then you're body is rewarding you!

How are you getting on anna? when is your BFP due?? I'm losing track of everyone, I'm hopeless!

My three things today are:

  1. I got my hair done yesterday, had it chopped and lightened for summer, I love it!
  2. I managed back to the gym yesterday and felt great after it!! Not so great today with the leg pain mind you!
  3. It's happy hump day - and all you ladies know what that means ;-)
Anna2006 · 26/04/2017 11:11

Haha @Bellamoon Major LOLs at the hedgehog shit!

@ArchiesMamaBird. Oh definitely. It's hard when it seems everyone falls pregnant first time or within a few months. In reality it's probably half & half an lots of people take longer. There is no rhythm or rhyme with it so it seems. Hence I fell pregnant straight away an thought oh lucky me. An here I am now nearly 7 cycles later and not sure what it's bloody doing haha. Taking its sweet ass time which is not a surprise as my DH is so laid back looks like his Doreen's are taking a 6 month sabbatical!!

Yes some people try for years for a child but that is in the minority and majority do fall within a year if all is well. So 10 months TTC is a fair slog and you deserve a pat on the back for getting this far and staying determined and motivated. My friend fell on her 12th cycle so lots of hope still yet!

BellaMoon · 26/04/2017 10:59

@MissMagpie good luck with the FRER. we all have our fingers crossed for you. keep us posted please xx

@Dollydaydream2829 good to hear from you and glad you're enjoying your preggo bubble. i too had a nosey at the other threads the other day OMG those ladies were super negative nancy's and debbie downers! i swear there was 1 user just going around telling everybody who clearly had a squinter pic "that's a big fat negative for me" i mean i know we like to keep it real but surely there's nicer ways to say stuff than that? i hope her next shit is a hedgehog #lols

i'm great thanks. a little tired, getting about 9-10hrs sleep per night! other than that nothing, even the odd bit of heartburn only lasts about 10mins #longmaythatcontinue

i totally agree @Hippychic79 i think some of the "happy accidents" are actually fully intentional.

my 3 things today are:-

  1. i appear to be relatively pg symptom free
  2. i'm having a super tasty lunch today
  3. i got an outfit for my goddaughters christening, at last!
Hippychic79 · 26/04/2017 10:51

Archies That's wicked news, I sometimes wish i could temp, but then when i read up on it and i look at the charts, I'm not sure I'd be very good at it! I did buy a thermometer, but obvs DP would wonder what the hell i was doing and probably wouldn't take too long to work it out if i checked my temp every morning! lol
I'm dont think that many people get upduffed without trying, i think a lot of them make out like they have or they just don't talk about it. I sometimes nose on other threads and I often read of MN's that have been trying a while, stopped coming on the threads, but come back to share their BFP stories - which of course is lovely.... and reassuring for those of us that are a fair few cycles in!

Dolly Welcome back chic, glad you're ok.... we were all wondering where you'd sloped off to :) #stayinyourbubble :))

Hi ladies,
I'm sorry for going a bit AWOL. Was taking a well needed break from MN- I'd been getting myself in a bit of a tizzy with some of those pregnancy and ante-natal boards! Bringing my attention to things I wouldn't of worried about before, feeling like a lot of them were in competition with who has the worst symtoms/who has the first scan etc. Not for me! I just want to plod along nicely in my first pregnancy naive bubble!

Anyway, enough about me! I have missed this big ball of PMA in my life and have been checking in now and again with you lovely ladies!
Cautious congrats for you magpie - I can see a faint line and hope you get the result with a frer! Which cycle is this for you?

Good luck to those who are in the TWW just now - these BFPs ate coming in thick and fast now so it's only a matter of time before we're all upduffed!

rose - glad your hycosy went well in itself, bit of an annoyance with those pesky bloods but hopefully it'll be a lucky lefty for you! We do that procedure in my work and you have no idea the amount of success rates after a 'clear out' so to speak! So got everything crossed.

You keeping well bella? Any sickness/tiredness?? And ohb?

I'm sure moo has her booking scan tomorrow if I remember correctly?? So exciting!!

ArchiesMamaBird · 26/04/2017 09:59

Anna Thank you Smile I know that in the grand scheme of things that 10 months isn't a massive amount of time to be ttc, and I read somewhere that the average time is 9 months. But when you're in that position and everyone you know seems to be getting upduffed without even trying it can be so hard can't it!

Anna2006 · 26/04/2017 09:46

Woo for temp rise Archies. It's nice to know when it works and you body follows the pattern it should isn't it. FX this might be lucky number 10 cycle for you. That's such a long dragged out wait!

ArchiesMamaBird · 26/04/2017 09:39

Hippy I finally got my temp rise this morning and I was so excited!! I was starting to worry that I wouldn't get it which would indicate that I hadn't OV, but it's definitely risen quite a bit. So I either OV on Sunday or Monday, but I'm going to go with Monday I think. So that would make me 2dpo today

Anna2006 · 26/04/2017 09:33

Magpie I got my first BFP on clearblue but mine was really bold. I think the pink dyes are just more realisable than blue. But it deff looks like a form of a line. I'd just confirm with FRER or CB digital an see the actual words. fX hey after all this waiting!!

Hippychic79 · 26/04/2017 09:23

Morning archies ... did you get your temp rise? What dpo are you now please? Xxx

OP posts:
Hippychic79 · 26/04/2017 09:22

magpie I can tell you don't want to get your hopes up too soon, completely understandable ... BUT I have definitely seen fainter bfps than that on mn .... good luck with your frer hunt .... xxx

OP posts:
MissMagpie · 26/04/2017 09:09

Hmm, will go on the hunt for a FRER today. Good job Weds is my day off!

The line looked darker in real life than on the pic but it wasn't as dark as yours Bella, so I am trying not to get carried away. It was surely to faint to count?!?

MUST. NOT. THINK. ABOUT. BABIES.

Hippychic79 · 26/04/2017 08:54

Meant frer sorry xx

OP posts:
ArchiesMamaBird · 26/04/2017 08:54

Soph sorry about BFN, but you're not out until you're out. Keeping everything crossed that you just tested too early.

Magpie I can definitely see a line! Eeeeeeeeek hoping your FRER will show a more clear one for you

Hippychic79 · 26/04/2017 08:54

magpie I would definitely be on a mission to get a free but I think that's a line xxx

olicat respect for welcoming af ... and keeping up the Pma ... :))
