So we are rolling on to thread #five –
We are not giving up, our PMA is still alive.

Put pure and simply,
We want to have babies,
God, please help everyone of these lovely ladies.

We support each other,
We are funny and kind,
And we will not be giving up,
Until we see that thick BFP line.

Thanks for the advice! I will try these out so that I get used to when I ovulate rather than wasting loads of clear blues. Then I will buy the clear blue ones if I don't get my BFP this month x

ArchiesMamaBird · 28/04/2017 18:48

Also, just found another monkey pic Bella 🙈😂

Young I was the same, my DS was a happy accident so I had no idea that it can actually take a while to conceive 🙈 my cycles were also 32-35 days long and I used to ovulate around day 19-22. I tried the IC a few months back and I think it said to test in the afternoon but to avoid drinking for 4 hours before hand. And I generally used to start testing around day 13 I think. I didn't really get on with them though and ended up using the Clearblue Dual ones which are super easy and you use your first wee of the morning (they are expensive though)

youngmummy3105 · 28/04/2017 18:15

Thank you Hippy my little girl wasn't planned so I've never gone through all of this before x

Hippychic79 · 28/04/2017 18:08

Hi young ... I've never used the ic's but I'm confident some of the ladies on here have ... ladies can you help young on when to start using the ic opks ??? I would imagine that you get quite a few in pack so I would suggest starting around cd9 at the earliest but I'd imagine if your cycle is 32-35 days you'll ovulate around cd16 maybe (bit of a guess there) ... I would use first morning urine and then as the line gets darker each day maybe start to test twice a day. Apparently around 2pm is good according to what one of the ladies on mn said ....

Ladies what do others think about this ????

Happy FriYAY ladies! 4dpo here and no symptoms whatsoever yet (but I know it's much too early for that at the mo)

Me and DS went to meet my friends 4 month old DS today and I've fell head over heels for him and can't wait to have another little bambino myself 🙊😍

Off to Barcelona tomorrow so I'd best get packing!

youngmummy3105 · 28/04/2017 15:11

Hippy it is my first cycle trying to use OPKs. I have ordered some online and they arrived this morning! When is the best time to test for the first time? X

Hippychic79 · 28/04/2017 14:55

loababy · 28/04/2017 10:58

Aww @moo that is lovely and so exciting too! :)

BellaMoon · 28/04/2017 07:50

i always enjoy a photo, don't know if you've noticed (hardy har) and facebook is great for that. i don't really have people on my facebook that i don't talk to in real life. great for keeping family who are overseas in contact too so ill definitely be sharing scan pics or announcement pics. i very much resemble that monkey just now so feck knows what ill look like when i'm showing (just a bigger monkey duh!) #fattyboomboom

ITS FRI-YAY woo hoo, freaking weekend ladeeeez 😘😘

Dollydaydream2829 · 27/04/2017 22:33

I've always been firmly against posting on Facebook but the more I'm progressing, I'm thinking I might put something up. Not necessarily my scan photo or that but just something. Only once everyone knows though. The fear is someone else posting before I've had a chance to tell everyone important but most of my friends know my Facebook feelings....

I can't believe it's been 8weeks! Utter madness, it feels like that time has flown in but at the same time not? It's weird. I've got my scan on Tues! I'll be 12+2 if my dates measure correctly! I'm so excited. Your scan photo has made it seem so much more real!

AmandaP86x · 27/04/2017 22:13

I love people's fb announcements some r very original but yeh I would be scared to like jinx myself I'm a pure freak though it's nice to tell people 😂

Moo31 · 27/04/2017 22:07

Haha Bella that's hilarious!

Thank you everyone :) you are all so lovely and I can't wait to see all your 12 week scan pics!!!

Re fb I'm scared to post on fb in case i jinx anything but oh mum is dying to tell the world she's going to be a granny so I might do at some point before she does! She's under strict instructions not to do / say anything via fb until I have got round everyone! Still friends to tell and some family - I have lots of weekend plans lined up as I want to tell people face to face.

Sarah - "bubble" seems to have stuck as he/she looks like they are in a bubble the sac ... I'm not sure how I feel about bubble lol must Google and get some better suggestions!

@Dolly - when is your 12 week scan? 8 weeks tomorrow since we got our bfps!

BellaMoon · 27/04/2017 21:58

Thanks @ArchiesMamaBird! Currently lying on living room floor post-pumpage! Will be here again in a couple of days no doubt!! #theglamour

Sounds really positive @Blondienut and great they've got plans for you and you can get moving with them. Fx for you xx

I didn't want to do an fb reveal when we had DD, I'm not very active in there as it is! But DH wanted to so I let him post the scan pic. Was quite nice for it to come from him and for him to get some fuss and attention. My sister-in-law put the first pic of DD on fb before we had chance! Was too dopey and exhausted at the time to care but i was a bit miffed a few days later!!

sarahboro1 · 27/04/2017 20:40

What on earth does she think she's playing at Archie's??!! Does she know who she's messing with??!! #throatpunch #dontmesswithbellasgirlgang 😂

Blondie that's such good news your appointment went well, sounds really positive and fingers crossed it's the start of something good!! Xx

Dollydaydream2829 · 27/04/2017 20:32

Awww congratulations moo - what a beautiful scan!! So happy for you, you guys must be on cloud 9! Are you telling everyone this week/doing a fb reveal?!
What's everyone's thoughts on fb announcements??
Making me so excited for my scan!

Sorry to hear that freakin' unwelcome witch has rocked up ladies! Keep your heads (and legs in the coming cycle) up and hopefully next month will be THE cycle.

Have you done another test magpie? or trying to hold off? Hope the bleeding has tailed off??

Glad your fertility clinic visit went well blondie - makes the whole daunting process a lot easier I'm sure if everyone is on board and helpful! FX for you!

Blondienut · 27/04/2017 20:22

Moo love the scan picture.

How is everyone?

Well I went to fertility clinic today and it went really well. Was so worried but they were very nice and it was all so efficient. Had bloods and I scan- I'm Day 10 and the nurse could see that I was about to ovulate - 'over the weekend' so I'll be busy!!! She also said that my ovaries looked like a 38yr olds ovaries (as I am38) and that she'd seen worse- so I am taking that as a positive! I have to go back in a month for a hycosy scan and dh for sperm sample. Consultant was lovely and he was very positive about our chances. If hycosy ok he will prob try me on clomid and was very adamant that we wouldn't hang around and get going on any treatment needed. Feel drained after it but positive all in all. I was so worried about my BMI (30 now but was 37!) but it was barely mentioned. I think I will sleep well tonight !!!!

ArchiesMamaBird · 27/04/2017 20:11

Sarah I hate it when AF throws a few new symptoms into the mix. Some months I have no CM in the lead up to her, sometimes I have loads. Some months I have no cramping at all, sometimes it's constant cramps all week for 7 days before. Sometimes AF is so heavy and sometimes it's really light to the point that I get my hopes up that it's an IB 🙈 she's such a friggin cowbag isn't she!! #throatpunchAF
