So we are rolling on to thread #five –
We are not giving up, our PMA is still alive.

Put pure and simply,
We want to have babies,
God, please help everyone of these lovely ladies.

We support each other,
We are funny and kind,
And we will not be giving up,
Until we see that thick BFP line.

Im due to test on Sunday, 6 days until my period is meant to start. This is my first natural cycle since stopping the pill in January as I had to wait four months for my period to start. Its been a weird cycle had stabbing pains the day I was due to overulate for a week. Then that stopped and ive got discharge the same type you normally get when you overlate. No idea if thats a good sign. Im hoping its a bfp this weekend or at least my period starts and I dont have another month of nothing. Im worried about the stabbing pains I had for a week as it was so painful. As its my first natuaral cycle in four years as I was on the pill for four years Ive forgotten what normal natural cycle feels like.

Good luck testing this month everyone!

Hippychic79 · 02/05/2017 08:40

amanda it does make me chuckle when ladies on here say they haven't dtd half as much as they should .... It's not quantity chic ... it's quality .... it only takes one dorreen. But if you think it's not your month then I guess that helps you to relax a bit and that could be just what you need to aid implantation :)))

anna sooooooooo sorry to hear about your bfn cycle buddy. And fair play for being brave enough to test ... the closer I get the more of a phobe I become .... I really don't know what's worse ... testing and getting the wrong result or waiting it out .... I'm 9dpo today so still slightly too early to test ... still feeling mildly crampy but at this stage it could well just be nerves :)))

How's everyone else doing on this typically really sunny post bank holiday morning ?

Anna2006 · 02/05/2017 08:17

I caved and tested this morning at 11DPO. BFN. I knew it would be so wanted to get it out the way. AF due to arrive tomorrow or Thursday. Best she hurry up now!

Hippy when are you testing? Hope you have better luck than me!

AmandaP86x · 01/05/2017 15:14

Hi girls

Sorry been MIA been busy busy with my wee godsons christening this weekend!!! Wee bit rough today ha ha.

Just out of fertile week don't think I DTD half as much as I should have so I'm writing this month off just don't feel confident at all.

I have a lot of left sided pain though really weird on CD 21.

Hippychic79 · 01/05/2017 12:54

I'm a cold type too by the way and your right about the feet - keep them warm. The other thing is that your womb area, your abdomen and heart centre should all be the same temp .... just another thing to throw in there :))) it's called the triple warmer if you fancy a google xxx

rose hahaha willy socks ... gotta love a rude autocorrect 🤣🤣🤣
Yes yes yes fingers crossed indeed ...
it does sound promising but it is very mild cramps so you can't help wondering if it's crazy symptom spotting.
The crazy thing this cycle is I'm very keen to test which is unusual for me as I'm normally a wait it out kinda girl ... I blame the ic's 😉😂

FX for you hippy! The symptoms sound very promising. I'm 4 days behind you (4dpo) hopefully we will both be celebrating soon!

I'm officially crazy ttc woman this cycle, I read something saying that in Chinese medicine if you have cold feet you have a cold womb so Ive bin wearing wooly socks day and night as I always have ice feet. im now doing so many things I won't know what did the trick.
Btw my autocorrect is desperate to change woolly to willy #behave!

Hippychic79 · 01/05/2017 07:48

Morning ladies - in true bank holiday style it is wet and miserable here and dp has gone to work so I'm on a mission to keep busy... 8 dpo ... still too early to test but still got very mild cramping ... could be a good sign but could well be another curve ball so trying to remain realistic yet positive if that makes sense. I don't want to crash again.
archies sounds like your having a great time :)) hopefully that'll be your last blow out for 9months.

hey ladies

so so sorry for my absence over the last few days.

wee update from me is that i had a super busy week in work and DH started a new contract so evenings have been spent pretty much away from technology deiberately to make sure we have time for each other. anyway, having a lovely holiday weekend chilling, shopping, eating and sleeping. oh, and a wee bit of morning sickness thrown in today but nothing too bad!

@MissMagpie i am so so sorry about AF showing up. i had everything crossed it was some IB/spotting. i am in awe of your PMA! go girl! #PMAqueen

@ArchiesMamaBird my friend was absolutely gazebo'd at my hen, not knowing she was already pregnant. it must happen all the time! we can't stop life during every 2WW #slurpslurp

@Anna2006 my DH started taking a multi vit high in zinc about 5 weeks before our BFP. he eats veg for dinner but hardly any fruit so he's kept taking them and says he feels a little brighter of mood and iv noticed his skin looks fab too #heishandsomeallofasudden

@Hippychic79 i did notice some creamy cm before BFP. wasn't much, as i wiped it was apparent on the loo roll but just the once. infact i had it again today which is rather weird. have everything crossed that your cramps are a positive sign for a BFP. i had very little pg symptoms before my BFP: was the creamy CM and metallic taste and that was about it #loorollwatcher

sorry if i missed anyone, it's hard to scroll back on the app without losing your post so HIYAAAAA 👋🏼 to any newbies and everything crossed 🤞🏼for our next BFPs #girlgang #PMAmotherfuckers

oh, almost forgot, hope all the grads 🤰🏼are feeling good. i can't remember who mentioned the "boobie burn" but thanks for the heads up! until today, my bra has been my saviour however today, i literally can't stand anything touching my chest at all! much to DHs despair. he's very much a boob man but he ain't getting to play the bongos on these bazongas any time soon #ouch

Anna my oh and I took the his n hers conception vits from tesco - only started taking them the cycle we got our bfp. He's carried on taking them every other day as his diet isn't great fruit / veg wise so every little helps!

@Archies sounds like a fab night! I had a friend who had a night like that and then found out a few days later she was pg. Her dc is not in p2 and is excelling at school so don't worry about long term effects! Also hopefully the last blow out you'll have for 9months plus! Grin

Anna2006 · 30/04/2017 11:07

My DH loves Brazil nuts! I shall deff get him some and add in these new vitamins we've bought for him! I can't keep setting myself targets to be pregnant by as I've passed them all 🙈 But idekely to be pregnant again at least by the time was I was last year would be nice! Which means falling before August...🙏🙏

Dollydaydream2829 · 30/04/2017 10:24

Morning ladies,

Your night sounds fab archies - hopefully this will be your BFP month, it would be typical after 'misbehaving' Fx! Hope the sun is shining!

anna - my DH ate a brazil nut a day, the month before we got our BFP! Sounds ridiculous but apparently they have selenium in them to boost male fertility! He's not really into taking vitamins so that was the best I could do lol! Are you going to test in the next coming days?

hippy - I had an increase in CM too, but again didn't really pay too much attention to it cos I didn't know what symptoms were important or not, given I had never been pregnant before. The biggest sign for me was the lack of spotting. I spotted several days before proper AF came and it was starting to stress me out but my BFP cycle, I had maybe an hour of spotting and that was it. Prob IB? God knows....
7 days is prob a bit soon, don't want you to get bummed out with a BFN just cos it's too early! Hold out another couple days! I remember that dragging feeling, oh so well!

How are you doing magpie? Have you anything planned this weekend to take your mind off everything?

ArchiesMamaBird · 30/04/2017 09:52

Morning from Barcelona ladies! So I was in 2 minds whether to drink or not on this break as I'm in the 2ww, but we ended up meeting up with my friend who is working out here and she took us to a cocktail bar and I can't remember the rest of the night 🙈 #oops

I did the same when I was pregnant with DS. Got hammered on tequila one Friday night then found out I was pregnant 5 days later 🙈

Hippy I had cramps when I was pg with DS. As we weren't ttc I have no idea what other symptoms I had, but I remember having cramps in the week before AF which I never used to get so that's what made me do a pg test. So FX this is a good sign! And with regards to CM, I've googled it loads and I don't think you can use it as a indication of whether you are pg or not (unless your CM is always the same in 2ww and it suddenly changes). Some months I've had none, others I've had lots of watery CM and sometimes I've had creamy CM and obviously haven't been pg on any of those cycles

Hippychic79 · 30/04/2017 09:13

moo I will hold out till at least 10dpo ... I'm not sure about trusting those ic's but I guess as they're so cheap it would be rude not to try them 🤔 🤣

Hippychic79 · 30/04/2017 09:10

Thank you for the feedback moo - I know deep down everyone of us is different but when you've never been pg before you can't help but wonder what it feels like if that makes sense.
magpie you're obvs very much in tune with your body which is good. Thank you for your feedback too I really appreciate it.
anna my dp takes a Nutri advanced multi supplement and zinc but he doesn't realise why lol I also give him a fish oil capsule every day to keep him healthy as we don't eat much fish .... don't think breaded cod scores too highly. I hear you on the impatient thing too

OP posts:
Anna2006 · 30/04/2017 08:46

9DPO for me today but no symptoms to report. Mild back ache which indicates AF is prob on her way in a few days going by others months.

Does anyone's DP or DH take a supplement? My DH just take men's multi vitamin just for general health & seeing as we fell pregnant so quickly before we figured there isn't an issue there for him.

But seeing as I'm getting a bit impatient I've ordered him Fertil aid (male fertility supplement) which seems to have good reviews in improving count & motility etc.
He could all be fine but figured even if it is still fine can't help to have a boost to make the healthiest sperm can it. The more Doreen's the better!

MissMagpie · 30/04/2017 08:44

*phobe

MissMagpie · 30/04/2017 08:44

I only tested the day before my period was due because I really felt that I was pregnant. It was all in the boobs. They felt fuller and I had a weird feeling inside. They were a bit sore but not majorly. I had had some creamy CM in a big blob but I have had that on other non pg cycles so not sure about that. Also had some cramps but again, I have been having that normally too.

You know I am a bit of a POAS phone but as I don't usually spot, I think this cycle has been the only one I have been pregnant on. Definitely have had worse than normal cramps too. So even if I hadn't tested, I would have known.

Not sure I will test early next time or wait until AF is due.... Hmm. Just hope my cycle returns to normal. Think I am running a couple of days behind at least.

Moo31 · 30/04/2017 08:43

@Hippy fx! I think i only thought about my cm after I got my bfp so it wasn't overly obvious to me but definitely more than I would normally have had! Moodiness and cramps etc also really good signs ... everything crossed for you!!!! Grin
Ps yes I would hold off until 10 dpo. Pee into a pot (I think you do anyway) and do an ic first!

Hippychic79 · 30/04/2017 06:59

I agree with rose and think I would rather know too and although I recognise it's an utterly shit thing to happen, I would take some comfort in knowing my body was able to get pg especially as I'm ttc #1. It has left me wondering whether waiting so long to test is not such a good idea.
I hope your massage and relaxing day helped magpie and i hope your dh is spoiling you rotten.

The thread has been very quiet so i am assuming you're all having a nice bank holiday wk end.

I am now 7dpo and although I have been keeping myself busy - seeing family, time is very much on go slow and I'm very tempted to take a frer ... maybe not today as I've already got rid of fmu 🤣
I've been hopping on other threads to see when most people test and it's very much looking like 10 dpo at at the very earliest. As I'm ttc #1 it's hard to ascertain whether I feel pg, in terms of symptoms I keep feeling mildly crampy down below on and off which is new to me as I only usually get crampy when she who won't named arrives. I'm also a little mardy but I think that's because I do the most of the house related stuff and dp works too much at wk ends. I've usually got tender boobs by now but at the moment these seem fine ... keeping grabbing and squeezing them to check and lastly I think I'm getting a little cm here and there but I'm not sure 🤔 if this is wishful thinking based on the fact that moo and bella had this before their bfps but I seem to recall you guys describing it as a big gloop and mine isn't a big gloop, well not yet anyway! #surelyallthegirlgangshouldhavethesamesymptoms

sorry missmagpie, but your right it does give hope for the future. When people say to not test too early I always think I'd rather know, especially when your in the position of TTC for a longer period as at least you finally know you can get pregnant. Hope you enjoy your massage and keeping everything crossed for your next cycle x

Hippychic79 · 29/04/2017 09:57

Morning moo I feel it is a little too far to come help you clean .... sorry Hun 😂

Moo yep you're right! He's with my mom for the weekend and so excited. But I doubt she'll be as thrilled at the idea of me dropping off a toddler and a baby with her so I can go swanning off for the weekend Wink
