Hippychic79 · 11/04/2017 12:55

So we are rolling on to thread #five –
We are not giving up, our PMA is still alive.

Put pure and simply,
We want to have babies,
God, please help everyone of these lovely ladies.

We support each other,
We are funny and kind,
And we will not be giving up,
Until we see that thick BFP line.

Hippy when I got my BFP at 12dpo, I used a FRER for FMU. I then tested later that day with another FRER and got a negative. I then didn't test until 14dpo cos it put me off so much and it was only then I got a decent line! So keep the hope and maybe do one with FMU?

Same to you archies - you're not out til she's here!!

Hippychic79 · 05/05/2017 17:44

Thanks archies ... I'm 12 dpo and it was a frer ... so I'm fairly sure I'm out chic ...
Hope your not xxx still got it all crossed for you xxx

I'm also pretty sure I'm out too, I've been cramping all day, back ache and also tons of watery cm (tmi sorry 🙈) which I always get a few days before AF

ArchiesMamaBird · 05/05/2017 17:27

So sorry about the bfn Hippy. But remember that Sophsta also got a bfn at 11dpo and then went on to get her bfp Flowers

Hippychic79 · 05/05/2017 16:54

Just tested on a frer .... bfn ... likely I'm out this cycle ladies xxx

Well I'm 38 cakes and I would ideally love two children so two for one would be ideal for me ... I'd take the carnage :))) xxx

Your right of course cakes a month is a chuffing long time when ttc 😂 Xxx

OP posts:
CakesALot · 05/05/2017 15:30

Please don't let that be a Freudian slip, I can't have twins 😭

CakesALot · 05/05/2017 15:30

*twinging not twinning!!

CakesALot · 05/05/2017 15:29

I'm all over the shop with my dpo this cycle. Definitely cd 17 today but other than that I'm a bit lost. I had so much cramping and twinning from cd12 through to yesterday morning that I've no idea when ov occurred. I'm normally pretty tuned into my body. Plenty of dtd so hopefully I've caught Peggy!

CakesALot · 05/05/2017 15:27

12.5 dpo 😂😂

Hippychic79 · 05/05/2017 15:19

Hi cakes glad the mantra is helping you too - it's so simple but so effective and you're right ... it applies to so many areas of our lives .... we're so busy sometimes looking forward all the time almost living in the future of those big events that we miss the magic and daily miracles that we are blessed with :))

12.5dpo here ... and still in the game

I trust the timings of my life

We were one of those annoying couples that got upduffed without thinking about it. Twice. So if course I assumed I'd be pretty much giving birth by now! ''Twas not meant to be and I've gotten so much more relaxed about it now. I say that affirmation regularly now @Hippychic79 and not just about TTC because it applies to so many things.

But a month is a chuffing long time!!!!

Hippychic79 · 05/05/2017 13:01

Archies the trusting the timings of your life mantra is certainly help to keep me sane.

Anna I can't argue with you, those first few days are shite.... enjoy your wine and chocolate... and DH time .... fair play to you for not falling out with him... the last few months my poor DP has got it right in the neck... he even said to me a few days ago... 'oh no, it's your weekend again isn't it'... LOL Bless him he's noticed a pattern! I'm determined to stay calm regardless. Sending you big hugs chic

Yes I know what you mean Archie. I try this as well but then I also completely have irrational moments of why can't I get my chance to be a mum 😫

Sigh. AF days are the worst. Wine and chocolate at the weekend and spending quality time with DH 😘 and then AF can piss off and I'll be raring to go! And this BFP can start to hurry the hell up 😂

Hope it happens for you soon Archie!

ArchiesMamaBird · 05/05/2017 12:02

Thank you Dolly Smile and hoping you have a fab babymoon in Madrid! And yes you can call it a babymoon, you milk these pregnancy perks as much as you can! It goes by so fast, I can't believe it was 4 years ago that I was shaking whilst looking at that bfp in utter disbelief and wondering how I was going to break the news to DH!

Anna I feel ya! We were one of those annoying couples that got pregnant with DS without trying and it took us weeks to come round to the idea that we were going to be parents. So I thought we'd conceive again first month of trying. Fast forward to now, and we're 10 months in, and feel like we've tried EVERYTHING but it still doesn't seem to be happening. I'm following Hippy's advice of believing that the universe has a plan for us all, and it will happen when it's meant to happen Smile

Hippychic79 · 05/05/2017 11:41

Lol Dolly this is the first month that i feel a level of calm/rationality, amongst the intermittent waves of nerves. Madrid sounds amazing - hope you have lovely weather and a lovely time. How long are you going for?

Anna I know exactly what you mean about feeling like you've tried everything... the one thing i will say regarding vitamins and probably reflex and acupuncture too - these things aren't instant, it can take a good few weeks/months for the benefits of these things to kick in. My only other suggestion would be meditating, concentrating on finding that happy place and holding onto all the PMA in your life - health, DH, your age, the fact the nurse isn't unduly concerned, the fact you've conceived first time before (start to see this as a positive, even though i appreciate it was an utterly shit thing to happen) and the fact that you're part of Bella's girlgang :) I'm sure you could list a ton more things

Anna2006 · 05/05/2017 11:18

No plans for us just to chill I think!

I know Dolly. I do like to think of other stuff we can try cos I'm getting pretty desperate now but think I might be running out of ideas tbh.

Last two cycles we've used pre seed. DH takes vitamins anyway and I've ordered fertility boosting ones for this cycle. I take my vitamins and have tried the raspberry leaf tea thing and been having reflexology.

Guess there isn't much more I can do. I don't do the bum in the air thing 😂 But I always stay laying down. But I never faffed with any of this shit originally and it just worked straight away! I just can't fathom it out! I really can't!

Any advise ladies

Xxx

Dollydaydream2829 · 05/05/2017 11:04

Oh hippy - no need to apologise, I'm just jealous that you manage to keep a good whack of rationality during the time to test!
I was the same when I got my BFP! I'd told you ladies on here before I told DH. I didn't tell him until the end of the day just so that I could digest the info first and then be on board to help DH digest the news!

No, I don't think I said actually so no worries. We're going to Madrid! I've never been before so seriously looking forward to it. Hoping for some good weather as well!

Anyone else have any plans over the weekend?

Hippychic79 · 05/05/2017 10:54

Thanks Dolly ... sorry to keep you on tenterhooks. I just can't test in the week, as DP is around and i don't want to test in front of him because obvs he doesn't know. No matter which way it goes, i need time alone to get my head round it. DP isn't a morning person and if i told him that i was upduffed first thing in the morning i think he'd faint! LOL Have a wicked holiday / babymoon, where you off to again? Sorry poor memory xxx

Awch anna - I hate seeing posts involving AF rudely showing up! I think a part of every one of us feels it. We've all been there/going through it so you do and focus on what you gotta do! The last AF I got before my lucky cycle, I also focused on the fact that the next cycle, DH was starting his supplements and we had Preseed coming in the post. It's defo good to have something in your mind that makes you feel like you're being proactive!

Hippy - my God, I'm in awe of this attitude! Keep it going gal and hopefully you will be rewarded with a STRONG BFP!
I go on holiday tonight so I was secretly hoping you'd have given me some good news before I went - now I'm going to have to check in over the weekend... haha! Good luck!

Does it count as a babymoon if I'm only 13 weeks down?! 😂😂

Archies I'll be keeping my fingers and toes crossed for you too! And will be checking up for your BFP!
