Fingers crossed!!!

I went to 4 different shops yesterday and nowhere had any FRER, plus none on prime anymore. They used to be everywhere!

ERog84 · 14/04/2017 08:44

@Mammabear31 The own brand ones aren't as sensitive. I'm going to do a digital now....cross your fingers 😊

Mammabear31 · 14/04/2017 08:42

One was an early response own brand from Lloyds (25mlu on the packet Hmm) one was a Tesco, one was an IC. I'm just surprised that my lines aren't darker, intact I'd convinced myself it was a chemical until the digital shower "pregnant". Thoughts?

ERog84 · 14/04/2017 08:33

@Mammabear31 What were the other tests you used today? I want to do a digital but a bit paranoid incase it comes up negative!

Lolly34h · 14/04/2017 08:21

I'm due on today so I tested had a bfn so I guess I'm out this month

DappledThings · 14/04/2017 07:35

Oyster You're totally right. Good idea to only keep one upstairs. Sunday is 11 DPO and earliest I've had a positive (twice).

Mammabear31 Faint is still positive! I can definitely see it on the pink one

Mammabear31 · 14/04/2017 07:16

Panicked when 3 came back looking negative, then the digital flashed up....how is it that it's positive yet the other 3 are so faint???

It is so hard to wait because getting pregnant is about the most exciting thing that will ever happen to you. :)
But try, testing early leads to madness. Don't keep the tests in the bathroom, keep them downstairs somewhere and only put one in the bathroom the night before you are due to test. Get up in the morning and flush away that FLU, just make yourself do it.

DappledThings · 14/04/2017 06:55

Just got BFN on a IC. 9DPO, totally pointless to test this early. Why do we do it?!

Mammabear31 · 13/04/2017 14:27

I used a FRER yesterday (11dpo) and an IC. Got a faint positive on the FRER but a negative on the IC. This morning I got a faint positive on a CB non-digi and an absolute squinter on the IC (10mlu). I've got a digital that I'm going to use once the lines get darker...fingers crossed that happens!

Hopelessworrier84 · 13/04/2017 14:25

8 dpo and feel terrible today. And have thrush (Sorry, tmi). Feeling very emotional and keep tearing up. Keeping my head down in the office.

Flossylolly85 · 13/04/2017 14:21

@KR24 I don't have personal experience of them, but heard they are quite good because they have a sensitivity of 10mui. x

KR24 · 13/04/2017 14:13

Ladies I have Searched high and low and couldn't find first response every shop was sold out ! Must be all of us snapping them up lol so I've went with Superdrug own make early detection. Anyone had previous experience with these? Heard very mixed reviews

Wantingbabywilliams1 · 13/04/2017 13:58

@Busymee it's so frustrating isn't it? Don't beat yourself up about testing early, I took one at 3 dpo 🙈 Ridiculous!! Obviously bfn, got my fingers x for you though 😊

Busymee · 13/04/2017 13:25

Congrats Lee!! How exciting xx

Busymee · 13/04/2017 13:23

Wine I'm the same 9dpo and tested this morning with a bfn! Too early and we both new it, why do we do it to ourselves... Sunday for me too everything crossed xx

Lee1977 · 13/04/2017 13:03

@KR24 I used a morrisons one it was £3.50 for 2 tests and I have a blue digital one to use in a few days time to see it in words like ERog84 lol

Wantingbabywilliams1 · 13/04/2017 12:51

@WineAndTiramisu try not to worry! Like you said it's still really early, I'm trying to keep myself busy so I don't keep googling "how many dpo to take pregnancy test"Blush I feel like it's all I think about, this is my first 2ww since gaining a "normal" length cycle (as I have pcos) and I've never known myself to get so obsessed with anything! I also started taking my bbt this month too and although it's helpful it just gives me something else to keep thinking about!

Wantingbabywilliams1 · 13/04/2017 12:21

@Downbutnotyetout yes hopefully the weekend away will be helpful, I could really use one! It's driving me barmy waiting until the weekend, although now I'm worrying as I'll only be 12 dpo and I googled (very dangerous!!) and it says to only test at around 14dpo. My next acupuncture session is next Thursday, so I might try and set that as my new target... if AF hasn't appeared by then! X

Oysterbabe · 13/04/2017 12:06

My husband was really irritating me yesterday, definitely a symptom.
4PDO. Are we nearly there yet?

KR24 · 13/04/2017 11:57

@ERog84 that was the ones I was thinking of going for just thought I would ask about :) and I know I think the digital ones are more exciting!

ERog84 · 13/04/2017 11:56

@KR24 I've been using First Response ones, am going to get a clear blue digital to see the words! 😄

KR24 · 13/04/2017 11:54

Going out to buy some tests today, which ones did you's use? @ERog84 @Lee1977 and @Mammabear31 ?

WineAndTiramisu · 13/04/2017 11:06

I caved Blush bfn, but am only 9-10 dpo so probably too early anyway, going to try to leave it until Sunday. Not due af until the 19th, I hate these 2ww!
