Does anyone else use there heart rate monitor on there Fitbit to monitor when they have ovulated? Saw a post on here recently where someone was but can't find it now. Been reading up on it thought it would be interesting to see how many of you guys did?

@SunshineAndRainbows6 thank you I'm not sure when I ovulated I'm on day 19 of a 26 day cycle and I've only been following my Fitbit for a few cycles but normally it's started to drop by now if I get another raise tomorrow I'll be so excited but only time will tell. I didn't have any pregnancy related dreams until I knew with my LO but I spend all day thinking about it so it's no surprise it's crept into my subconscious. I'm pretty excited today and symptom spotting like crazy just preying I actually ovulated as I ran out of OPKs on holiday. Congratulations on your BFP, when you due? Did you get any dips in your RHR before the BFP? X

SunshineAndRainbows6 · 25/08/2018 09:03

Morning @ImpatiantMammy,

Wow! That chart does look good, how many DPO are you? And when are you due AF? Mine used to reach that level and then either drop rapidly due to AF or when we got our BFP it stayed up and increased 😊👏🏻🤰🏻 Keeping all of my fingers and toes crossed for you.... 🙌🏻 Deffo keep us posted on how your getting on!!

P.S I had never dreamt of pregnancy tests or getting my BFP! Until the night before we found out.... had a crazy dream about a positive FRER.... Next morning, sat on the loo exactly like in my dream and a second line started to appear... 😍🤦🏻‍♀️ Soooo I'm hoping for you that, your dream was the beginning of your new adventure 😘

ImpatientMammy · 25/08/2018 08:30

Morning all. Hope you don't mind me jumping on but I never knew this existed my resting heart rates the highest it's been since may and it's just been increasing daily since my ovulation dip. I missed ovulation on my sticks this month but I feel like my RHR looks good. Had a dream that I got a BFP last night and can't help but feel excited 🙈 how do yous honestly think it looks I've been TTC since November so need bringing back down to reality 😂 thank you x

Fantastic line progression @SunshineAndRainbows6
Chuffed for you! 🤰

SunshineAndRainbows6 · 11/07/2018 07:01

Aaaah glad to hear it @spongebobgrannypants... and thanks for the information, I'm not going to wear mine now anyway as it will just make me uneasy! But it's sooo good to know you've experienced a drop in RHR too before 😁

Hey @ndo4000, hope your doing ok too!? And yeah it's so strange!!

I'll make sure to ask the midwife what she thinks when I see her 😊

Still can't quite believe it, and I couldn't help myself... been using up the last of my FRER's by doing the whole 48hr progression thing... 😂 Top one was when I found out last Friday... bottom was this morning! So I can't really have much more proof than these.... 🤦🏻‍♀️🤰🏻🎉

Yeah I'm doing great, thanks. I'm not wearing mine right now actually (it had a faulty strap and awaiting replacement), but I think the explanation was that your heart gets used to the extra work/blood pumping after a couple of weeks and adjusts accordingly. Some people see their RHR go all the way back to pre-preg levels. Think it's supposed to creep up again later in second trimester.

ndo4000 · 10/07/2018 22:41

@SunshineAndRainbows6 congratulations!!!!! Fantastic news!!!

My HR went down a bit after a couple of weeks as well. I wonder what makes that happen?....

SunshineAndRainbows6 · 10/07/2018 14:42

@Spongebobgrannypants that's so good to know as I nearly had a mental breakdown at work earlier and took it off because it got a little low again 😂 I take it that's normal!? Hope your ok x

SpongeBobGrannyPants · 10/07/2018 14:04

That's great news @SunshineAndRainbows6 ! Congratulations!

Be warned that it may start going back down for a bit too in a couple weeks, which is quite alarming but totally normal.

SunshineAndRainbows6 · 10/07/2018 11:31

Hey gang,

@ndo4000 & @spongebobgrannypants

Just thought I'd drop by and let you know that I got my BFP last week 🙊🙌🏻 I think I'm about 4 weeks so still early days!

And the heart rate is true.... mine is super high all the time now and I also spend most of the day in the 'workout' level.... 😂

Here's a picture of my chart... I tried not to wear it much and as you can see it stays 'flat' at a stage.... this was mainly because I used to obsess and think I was out too soon! So last month was a very relaxed approach and it worked... so we must have done something right 😂👏🏻

Hope your all doing well! 😘❤️

Mines updated (see photos)

Also, my ovulation tends to coincide with my RHR, it's usually just after the lowest point (again see photos)

For interest here is my RHR chart the month I got my BFP at 16dpo. According to OPKs I ovulated on the 14th. In the week before AF I really thought I was out because RHR was dropping so steeply but after hitting a low at 13dpo it suddenly started rising again. In previous months I had either a steady drop before AF or a slight rise but then a drop once AF had started. No steep rise like this.

So a bit of a drop does not necessarily mean BFN, it can change! Good luck to all of you x

@wendiwoowho... Aaaah 4 days is a good sign... And your chart looks like mine 😁 Fingers crossed yours keeps going!!! Have you taken a test? 🤞🏻

And thanks for the luck, I'm hoping this is our month too 🤞🏻🙌🏻👏🏻

wendiwoowho · 13/05/2018 21:31

Good luck this cycle SunshineAndRainbows6 🤞🏻🤞🏻

Thank you 😊 I'm 18DPO, AF was due 4 days ago and still nothing 😕 hate the not knowing where I am.

SunshineAndRainbows6 · 13/05/2018 20:27

Hey gang,

Hope everyone's ok! Feeling more positive now AF has been and gone... now CD6 so getting ready for my ovulation time! Just ordered some OPKs online, first time using them! Not too sure on how they work, anyone got any useful tips?

👋🏻 @wendiwoowho... that chart looks positive, how many DPO are you? Still new to all of it but I think as the ladies above said, it stays high until AF but what we all want to see is instead of a drop when AF is due it keeps rising 😍👌🏻 Mine kept going up and I was 4 days late for AF... Got all excited and then she showed her ugly face!! 😭😩 But yours looks good, sooooo all fingers and toes crossed for you 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻

I have also got the new feature on the Fitbit... so hoping it gives some good readings this month! 😬🙌🏻👌🏻👏🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻

wendiwoowho · 13/05/2018 19:15

HidCat thank you, just trying figure it out how to monitor and track it.

My app now has a woman's health tracker on it too, think it will come in handy.

HidCat · 13/05/2018 17:52

@wendiwoowho looks just like the one @SunshineAndRainbows6 posted! If your heart rate stays up then that's good I think.

My Fitbit app now has the women's health tracker on it. Anyone else?

wendiwoowho · 13/05/2018 17:36

How does this chart look to people?

Fitbit & TTC
HidCat · 08/05/2018 19:52

I've just read that Fitbit are introducing women's health to their products at last! I'm a bit unsure but the article I read said new devices would have it built in (certain models) and there will be an update to the app for everyone sometime this month. Exciting!

SpongeBobGrannyPants · 08/05/2018 18:23

@SunshineAndRainbows6 oh just saw the last few comments on this thread, I didn't see them at first, I'm so sorry x

SpongeBobGrannyPants · 08/05/2018 18:21

@SunshineAndRainbows6 Frustrating. The FRER are good (the 6 day's before missed period ones). Maybe you ovulated late this month. What day was it you thought you ovulated again?

ndo4000 · 08/05/2018 17:22

@SunshineAndRainbows6 so sorry it didn't happen for you this month Sad.

Let's hope that next month it does!! Finger X!

SunshineAndRainbows6 · 08/05/2018 16:30

Had a temp drop and AF has just showed her ugly face so I'm out this month! 🤷🏻‍♀️😓 Going to drown my sorrows with a takeaway and cheesy movie tonight... 🤦🏻‍♀️

Fingers crossed for you 🤞🏻 @wherehastherumgone!!!! 👏🏻😍🤞🏻

SunshineAndRainbows6 · 08/05/2018 09:49

@ndo4000.... tell me about it! Day 36 now and still nothing... apart from the tiniest bit of brown discharge this morning when I wiped sorry for (TMI)... so maybe AF is on her way? 🤷🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️ Weird as I never usually get any spotting, she usually just comes full force in the middle of the night or early morning, but who knows ayyeee! 🤔 Can't be looking at anymore negative tests this month, so will do one at the end of the week if there's still no sign of her....

@whyhastherumgone.... Thank you! Same to you.... that sounds so promising! I am sorry for your previous losses though 😘 ((Hugs)). Keep me posted on how things go! And yeah you could be right, never been pregnant before so haven't a clue what to be looking for or what to expect 😂🤦🏻‍♀️

whyhastherumgone · 07/05/2018 19:30

Thanks @hidcat sorry for your loss xx hope things work out for you next time
