Found one more IC we hadn't used! Lol!
I'm going to treat myself to a digital at the end of the week and then I really must stop testing and let it sink in!

Ha ha, yeah, the non stop crying! That still hasn't stopped for me! 😂 It does feel like huge responsibility but just take it easy on yourself. I wish I relaxed a bit more but it's easier said than done. Bet you are looking so forward to the scan and like you said hopefully you'll relax a little once you've had that. Take care xx

Thank you WinterRose and BangBang, that's reassuring xx
We're going to book a private scan and NIPT tests for end of next months (11wks pregnant) so hopefully I'll be able to relax a bit more after that. I just feel so much pressure and responsibility to keep this little bean safe and can't stop crying which I presume is the hormones! Lol!

User don't bank on feeling anxious all the way through!

I felt terrible the first few weeks - every time I went to the loo I was convinced I'd be bleeding. Then at six weeks actually did bleed which was awful.

Then something weird happened around seven weeks in - the anxiety I've had for years (as in, had therapy, CBT etc level) just totally dried up and I've felt completely fine since including postnatally. In fact, it's been the happiest few months of my life - so I hope you find the same.

It is worrying at first, I think I really started to enjoy my pregnancy around the 5 month mark, started to worry less. I think I was more reassured when I could really strongly feel his kicks. It flies by so quickly, like you said, just try to enjoy it and go with it. Really happy for you! 😊 xx

Thank you SleepFree, and congratulations on your DS. I'm naturally anxious so will probably have 8mths of worry ahead but will try and enjoy it xx

Congratulations. I had DS2 at 40 and he is wonderful and amazing and even though I was incredibly anxious the whole pregnancy due to recurrent miscarriage, it actually was totally problem free.

Thank you neonrainbow! We're so excited. Age 40 and (almost) 39 so were quite worried it wouldn't happen for us so to get the BFP the day we moved into our new home was very special xx

Aww, congrats! I remember the night before I took my test my boobs were really aching me, so I took a test the next morning. My first test came up with quite a faint line, I showed it to my DP & he said he could see something but we didn't want to get too excited just in case. We had been trying for 5 months. We lived about 5 mins from a Sainsburys then - I literally legged it there, bought a digital clear blue test and it came up saying I was 1-2 weeks gone! Such a lovely feeling, I'll never forget it. DS is now four and a half months old! Congratulations 😘

@user1471496670 congrats hunni Smile. Did u take a pic xx

user1471496670 · 06/04/2017 19:51

Ok...I folded and tested today! Late afternoon, very diluted urine and the second line appeared straight away! Still faint but more than a squinter and still only 12dpo. Not due on until next week (Monday).
So that's now 3 tests (2 ICs and 1 Asda) All faint positives! Presume it's pretty unlikely to get 3 false positives! Lol 😆

Hi Sazwest...my boobs were excruciating from the start, really bad wind/gas with constant burping/pumping/heartburn from 6-7dpo. Very strong cramping from 7dpo. Little white pimples appeared on my nipples from 10dpo. Headaches, stuffines. Very different to usual 'symptoms' in the 2ww. Also extremely high temperatures with triphasic pattern.

Sazwest · 05/04/2017 22:32

Sazwest · 05/04/2017 22:30
