Hi starting trying for a second child over a year ago. So far I've had an early miscarriage and an eptopic. Finding it quite a lonely process anyone in a similar boat fancy keeping me company?

It's really hard.

I had conceived DS on my first month of trying so I had assumed trying for baby number 2 would be just as easy. It took 11 cycles though until I fell pregnant and with each month they passed I was finding it so hard. I too was desperate to give my son a sibling and I was so disappointed when it hurt didn't seem to be happening. My husband was also quite deflated every month too.

It turned out there may have been a reason for my struggles (still BF'ing my first) as when I stopped that's when I fell pregnant, but I just wanted to offer you a hand hold and some sympathy because it's really shitty when you want to get pregnant and it just doesn't seem to happening. Flowers

Hey - also TTC number 2. I have an amazing little boy who starts school in September. I've had 2 sets of blood tests which have determined hormone cycle is changing which is great news. Also have a scan booked in for the end of April on pelvic area and waiting for results of husband's tests. I'm trying to stay as positive as possible, eating right & exercising. I am using OPKs but I have very long cycles (last one was 42 days) and long periods (11-12 days) so is tough. It's affected my mental health but I'm doing much better this month. Today is cycle day 15 and I've not seen any signs of ovulation yet although the line on OPK is getting slightly darker.

Fingers crossed for all of you xx

Hiya! Same boat here I'm afraid, I've been trying since Jan last year and have had one miscarriage in September.
I feel exactly the same as you do, as time is ticking by I can't help but think how big this age gap will be when hopefully I do fall pregnant. It's very lonely and I feel sad that I can't seem to do it.

I know it's a massive cliche but I only fell pregnant when I stopped trying.

It took me two years with one miscarriage whereas I conceived my DD's within 2 months each.

Good luck the trying and disappointments can be soul destroying Flowers

Hi Sure please to meet you but sorry your going through hard times too.

I'm generally fairly positive and I'm very lucky to have my lovely preschooler. I do find it hard though life isn't what we'd hoped. I worry about my little missing out on a sibling and feel sad that the friends I made when he was little have drifted as those families grow. But mainly I ache for the space in my family.

I'm right between my 2 due dates and I'm sure I'll feel better once these have passed.

I know how lucky I am to have a child falling pregnant and staying pregnant last time wasn't easy either. And for me that was a hundred times harder. I think done of the loneliness is due to feel guilty for being sad about not falling with a second child.

Hi, I'm the same. Been trying for a year now, had a mmc in August. Sometimes it gets me down. But trying to be positive!
