Took a test this morning and a pink line came up within the time limit. It was with very concentrated urine thanks to my mild hangover of rosè last night Blush

I did another a FRER work this afternoon after many cups of tea and water and it's a stark BFN.

I wonder if the Superdrug one was an evap.

Any experience or opinions?

That was two days ago for me too holzy.

Where abouts in your cycle are you? I feel like AF is coming and I have spotting but nothing real so far.

That's how mone was too!! But my first response looks negative x

SillySausage34 · 27/03/2017 16:16

This is my first one out the case. I did think it was too strong/pink for it to be a false.

But the FRER was negative yesterday.

So you turned out to be pregnant HbH?

See I have had ones without the line. It's always my afternoon wee that gives those.

🙋🏻 I'm in the dodgy superdrug test club too! Did a test yesterday morning and got vertical lines in both windows but also a horizontal streak through both, so did the second test and no line in either window... total dud!! No exactly cheapo either fir a non branded, tut tut!

Chamonix1 · 27/03/2017 09:00

You're probably right, I'm sorry you went through all that it must be horrible.

Not that I'm disbelieving chemical pregnancies! Just that I think a duff test could be the reason sometimes.

OP posts:
SillySausage34 · 27/03/2017 08:41

I had another 'bfp' this morning on the Superdrug test. I didnt believe it at all, and rightly so because I went for a wee an hour later just for AF to arrive.

I'm sure a lot of these 'chemical' pregnancies are just shit tests.

I've had exactly the same with Superdrug tests. Sorry to hear it's happening to others. I won't touch them now.

BaxterStockboy · 26/03/2017 11:40

Sorry to hear that. Evaps are bloody evil!

SillySausage34 · 26/03/2017 11:28

Well. A glutton for punishment, I couldn't sit on my hands until tomorrow because I had to drop a card to a friends house which meant walking passed Superdrug

Obviously I bought a Superdrug test.

BFN.

SillySausage34 · 26/03/2017 08:56

From here and Google its one of two things. The Superdrug tests show up earlier than a FRER and the Superdrug was correct.

Or it's an evil evap (and my, it's evil. It's so clear in RL).

So I will get a test on Monday morning if AF hasn't come.

I will update.

Superdrug tests are a bastard.
I got evap on several tests over a few days. I wasn't pregnant. When I complained there response read as "oh well"
Stick with frer

SillySausage34 · 26/03/2017 08:03

My Superdrug tests have lines like that two full days before the frer showed a line (all tests done at the same time using the same wee)

Oh wow that's interesting. I will wait and test if AF doesnt show up then.

Watch this space!

I found superdrug tests to be more sensitive than other tests. I got early positives with both my DC, and the tests looked just like yours does. I wouldn't write it off yet.

Misssmoo · 26/03/2017 07:55

That's shocking I would complain to super drug seems alot of people are getting false positives xx

Blerg · 26/03/2017 07:24

Sorry to hear that Flowers yes, mine were like that but appeared outside the test period. But that happened with DS so I wasn't sure what to think.

SillySausage34 · 26/03/2017 07:19

Update - it was an evap. Very negative FRER this morning.

OP posts:
SillySausage34 · 25/03/2017 19:14

Thanks Blerg were they like mine?

I'm on the Prosecco now and resigning myself to the fact that it is indeed an evap.
Especially my extensive experience with them.

I thought I might be pregnant recently and found v faint lines on Superdrug tests. It wasn't showing on other tests and eventually my period came.

Hope you get the outcome you want. Soon if not now.

SillySausage34 · 25/03/2017 17:34

Uh-oh, think AF might be coming. Just popped to the loo and it isn't looking good for the above to be a true positive.

This happened to me years ago with my youngest. It seems that no matter what test I make very clear false positives. I've had to with IC's, CB, FRER and now Superdrug!
