Thread 6 already. We are a bunch of ladies who are either

  • humping (TTC)
  • by humping yet (waiting to TTC)
  • humped (preggers)

And everything in between!

We've had 7 BFPs in three months and we love a bit of lucky lube and a squinter on 9DPO - come and join the madness!

confusedat23 it's combined care here, so alternates between your GP and either your consultant or your midwife (I'm going with midwife care). So I'll see the GP for all of that at 6w! It's a brilliant system over here, the level of maternity care is pretty phenomenal tbh!

confusedat23 · 31/03/2017 06:05

Natur when are they going to do your blood tests? In a seperate appointment before booking in? Remember some need to be done before 10 weeks so it might be something to worth mentioning!

Grumpy such a good line for 12dpo!! You should deffo go and post your CBFM pic on your other thread!

Good luck for today Dancing although everything will be fine so you won't need it!! We can start the gender guessing from your scan pic yay!!! Lol

Welcome Otters i hope this clomid cycle is the one for you!!

NaturWilde · 31/03/2017 05:52

Wu hoo Grumpy!!! Lovely seeing the line get darker!!! Yey!!! And wow, love how obvious the CBFM makes it! Delighted!

Welcome Otters. Am same age, though was TTC#2 and had my utterly surprising BFP last week! What have you been 'trying' to aid TTC?

Wow, can cardly keep up with this thread! Tough day at work yesterday...!

Good luck with scan today Dancing!!

Para hello again! Hope the chocolate eating and self care slowly sinking in and helping with your healing.

Jupiter yes, I'll have the 12 week dating scan on the same afternoon as my booking in with the midwife at the hospital. Though I'll have had my private scan a month or so before that!

MrsC yes, I'm Dublin based! I was with the Domino scheme last time round at Holles Street and it was brilliant. This time at the Coombe! We're very lucky to have three dedicated maternity hospitals here!

Visiting family in the uk next weekend, going to tell my sisters!

HbH · 31/03/2017 05:32

Wowsers grumpy that's a huge PREGNANT! I didn't know the CBFM told you this as well!! So fab to see it like this! 🎉

Welcome otters

TheGrumpySquirrel · 31/03/2017 05:14

Otters welcome, we are all a very supportive bunch here. I'm not sure about progesterone levels for ovulation but I think penguin might also have been tested, not sure if they told her the level though.

penguinsandotters · 30/03/2017 22:34

Can I join in please? I've just signed up to mumsnet and have just about got a grip on the abbreviations etc. Am desperately needing some support as I feel like I'm going crazy. A brief history - I'm 38 and my DH is 41. We are TTC #1, never been pregnant before, no other children. Been trying for 15 months+. Had some tests done and currently under fertility consultant. I dont have PCOS but I'm not ovulating, D21 progesterone 0.2 or undetectable. Just had AMH result back this week and told its low for my age, think it was 4. So desperately running out of time. Currently on cycle 1 of clomid 100mg. Its CD25 today and I'm really hoping for my BFP but took a pregnancy test yesterday and it was negative. My cycles are usually 28-30 days so hoping that I could still get a BFP. However D21 progesterone this cycle was 25 which is better than before but my consultant said needed to be >30 to definitely indicate ovulation. Am I out then? I don't have many symptoms - very emotional and bit crampy today but expecting AF so can't tell the difference! Argh. This has been the longest 2WW!

MrsC2017 · 30/03/2017 22:09

dancing eek good luck in the morning lovely! Glad you're feeling better! Xx
hb yes that's why I took the job, it works out perfect for the school holidays, it's literally the only good thing about the job!
Right I'm off for a snooze, I can't sleep past 4 am and it's driving me insane!

TheGrumpySquirrel · 30/03/2017 22:05

Dancing Lucky you! I feel like I've got an extra layer of fat all over me already!

TheGrumpySquirrel · 30/03/2017 22:04

Hb I'm having quite bad backache too and funny crampy spiky twinges in the front Confused hope the hot water bottle gives some relief!

Confused no I don't know if he will, as I expect it will be during work time and he'll want to save that for scans etc.

Maybe the booking in will make it feel real finally! I just feel a bit hungover all the time.. doing my second FRER in the morning. 12DPO. Night all xx

DancingUnicorn · 30/03/2017 22:02

Grumpy I've lost half a stone. Seem to be eating loads atm, but not putting any weight back on yet! It's weird being pregnant but my trousers hanging off me!

TheGrumpySquirrel · 30/03/2017 22:01

Jupiter I couldn't wait to get into my PJs this eve! I was so bloated on the way home from work I looked about 20 weeks! Totally wore my badge on way home too - not gonna feel guilty about it!

Dancing good luck for the scan tomorrow that's so exciting!

TheGrumpySquirrel · 30/03/2017 21:59

Sorry just catching up, I had to log in and do some work this eve Sad
It's lovely having you guys to chat to though!

MrsC I hope so lol.. what I would like is no appetite but no sickness either please Grin
(I've just eaten a huge plate of pasta and an entire packet of Maryland 🍪)

Para thank you and wishing you a speedy recovery Flowers are you enjoying being back at work?

Penguin I don't want to get your hopes up as the Dr said you didn't ov but the morning I got my BFP DH and I had a little celebratory shag and it actually felt so weird and quite painful - but not like cervix jamming pain (lol).

HbH · 30/03/2017 21:45

Ah SO exciting! Our first scan!!

Good luck!

buzzmoon · 30/03/2017 21:41

Eek! dancing what time is the scan! Literally so excited for you! Everything will be fine! Please post a pic it you can! ❤️❤️❤️

DancingUnicorn · 30/03/2017 21:40

So much better thanks, Jupiter! Feeling hopefully irrationally terrified about scan tomorrow morning. Really hoping all is ok.

HeyJupiter · 30/03/2017 21:27

Dancing is your head a bit better today?

Ditto on the womb awareness.. and more scratching inside today! Yes, don't think hot water bottle should go anywhere near our wombs now.. sleep tight ladies!

HbH · 30/03/2017 21:23

Ah thanks dancing.... & yes, it's really weird, i wasn't expecting to feel any different til way down the line!

DancingUnicorn · 30/03/2017 21:12

Hb the womb awareness is incredible, isn't it?! Hope you manage to relax and get some sleep.

DancingUnicorn · 30/03/2017 21:10

Hb a proper explanation:

HbH · 30/03/2017 21:10

Ah we're such party animals!! Bed is calling too jupiter ! Hot wAter bottle is for sore back! I dont have womb cramps really.... it still feels hot & im just very aware of it! (Don't think I would want to put a hot water bottle on it!)

HbH · 30/03/2017 21:05

Ah that sounds good MrsC ... handy on the holiday childcare front i imagine!

Totally penguin I feel like they should at least take some blood/test urine/get me in the system before 12 weeks!

HeyJupiter · 30/03/2017 20:58

(hot water bottle I mean!)

HeyJupiter · 30/03/2017 20:58

MrsC have you planned how to spend your weekend alone? I’m in pyjamas by 7pm every evening regardless of level of bloating Grin

Para I’m so glad the normality helps. Can’t imagine what you must be feeling but glad you’re being kind to yourself (chocolate is definitely needed sometimes) Flowers

Hb that’s a shame! They don’t do self-referral in my area either. I think going into the surgery is a good idea. Fingers crossed you get to talk to someone sensible. I agree about the pregnancy boards.. I don’t go near them, too many sad stories. Hope you’re feeling okay - have you got back ache or cramping? I’m going to bed in a sec to do the same :)

Parastars · 30/03/2017 20:52

Thanks for all your chocolate-eating encouragement! Grin
