Thread 6 already. We are a bunch of ladies who are either

  • humping (TTC)
  • by humping yet (waiting to TTC)
  • humped (preggers)

And everything in between!

We've had 7 BFPs in three months and we love a bit of lucky lube and a squinter on 9DPO - come and join the madness!

Penguin27 · 31/03/2017 12:50

Oh dancing I'm so sorry SadFlowers

Redpony1 · 31/03/2017 12:49

oh Dancing....... Flowers

DancingUnicorn · 31/03/2017 12:48

Hi guys. I'm really sorry, don't want to worry all my lovely preggos! Unfortunately this morning didn't go well, baby only measured 9 weeks and no heartbeat. Still in shock, but will go back on Monday to try to figure out management. Sorry, don't want to ruin people's Friday!! ❤

Tigger83 · 31/03/2017 12:42

Mrsc. Up until about 3days ago I felt shocking with constant nausea... it's gradually getting better. Still not in the glowing stage and panicking that the symptoms are going (can't win!) but definitely better than it was. I hit my peak rubbishness at 7and a half weeks!

JB1983 · 31/03/2017 11:21

Cracking line grumpy. Sound like you'll manage hiding your pregnancy to 20weeks if your core is that strong.

Good luck for your scan today dancing, how exciting!

Enjoy all the chocolate 🍫 you need para

I am excited for obem however as I'm not upduffed yet, it is probably easier for me to watch than some of you girls.

I feel this thread is fantastic for preparing me for the realties of early pregnancy. Trying to absorb all your tips for getting through the first trimester.

penguin I could be your new cycle buddy as I'm also due on this weekend.

Welcome otters. Sounds like you have had a long journey but have taken lots of positive steps to try and get your BFP. Huge good luck for testing.

buzz well done on trying to stay active. What is Jane the virgin?

Oh Mrs that sounds awful. I hope this stage passes quickly for you. How do you manage at work with the sickness?

I have a poorly dog today so we are having a wee sofa morning.

Penguin27 · 31/03/2017 10:59

Sad Mrs you poor thing!! Hopefully you can make it through the day without feeling too crap. Get plenty of rest over the weekend lovely.

Grumpy that's impressive & also envy-inducing haha I want abs!!

buzzmoon · 31/03/2017 10:55

Haha 🙋🏽 to non-existent abs! I'm very jealous grumpy. I'm 7 weeks today 🤔 hope it doesn't get worse, I can just about cope with the exhaustion and the hungover feeling but deffo don't want the sickness 😩

MrsC2017 · 31/03/2017 10:09

grumpy ill be 8 weeks tomorrow, kinda thought the worst would be over by now, anyway I guess only time will tell how the next few weeks go!
I'm sure you'll get away with it for just as long this time, the abs will help, mine are none existent!

TheGrumpySquirrel · 31/03/2017 09:48

MrsC so sorry, how many weeks are you now? I'm just about to do my first of two client meetings today 🙈 TGIF indeed!

Penguin nooo I'll still be your cycle buddy in spirit! Hope you get your BFP soon x

Buzz I didn't show properly until 25 weeks with DD but I was a lot younger then and apparently second babies show earlier! Although I've had 12 years of core strengthening since DD was born and I have pretty decent abs so here's hoping I can hold it in!

MrsC2017 · 31/03/2017 09:42

Yep buzz I'm in here now feeling pretty grim! TGIF!

buzzmoon · 31/03/2017 09:35

Oh mrs that's awful :( do you have to work today?

MrsC2017 · 31/03/2017 09:21

Morning girls!
buzz I watched two episodes last night! Love it!
grumpy eek that's a strong line! How exciting!!
otters hi and welcome!!
tigger good luck with booking in lovely!!!
dancing good luck with the scan!!

This morning has been awful, I spent ten minutes dry heaving this morning, brushing my teeth with impossible, getting really tired of feeling so crappy all the time, it's such an all day all night thing too, there's no let up!

buzzmoon · 31/03/2017 08:31

Morning all! Happy Friday woop!

Welcome otters must be so tough for you I can't imagine, but sounds like you're doing absolutely everything you can to get this baby 👏🏼 you're not out yet so I'm keeping everything crossed for you in the morning. We love a testing morning here so glad that you'll be doing it with penguin whatever the result is, sending lots of ❤️

grumpy I literally have the biggest grin from your test photos!! So so excited for you this is amazing! :) when did you start showing with DD? I'm sure you can keep it that long, just wear lots of floaty blouses, no one will know!

Sorry you're feeling rough jupiter I hope it passes soon!

I cant believe it but my walk to the station this morning was so difficult! I didn't think I was going to make it! It's only like a mile! Ridiculous 😂 got to really try to keep it up though and not get lazy even if it is tough. Going to try and walk a long way round on the way home. And maybe go swimming on the weekends. All I want to do is sit on the sofa and watch Jane the Virgin. mrs you will not be disappointed!! It's literally amazing! I watched 6 episodes last night and it's so good! But omg even more emosh now I'm preggers!!

Penguin27 · 31/03/2017 07:55

Morning all... it's Friday!! Grin

Welcome otters! Sounds like you've had a difficult journey, but you're not out for this cycle yet. I did have a blood test which said I hadn't ov last cycle, but I don't know what they tested for or what the levels were.

Grumpy that's such a strong line for 12dpo, congratulations!! I'm so excited for you although I've lost my cycle buddy

Good luck today dancing!! Try and post a pic of your not-so-small bubble, we'd love to have a good gender guessing game haha

Aw Jupiter, sorry you're feeling crappy today Flowers the only thing I can think of to suggest might be helpful is lots of tea Brew

TheGrumpySquirrel · 31/03/2017 07:44

Thanks all! Feeling fine and not sick at all this morning after a good night's sleep phew! Work wise I'm just kind of pretending it's not happening until I need to tell them.. going on a 2 week summer holiday at 23 weeks (mid August) and hoping to hide it until I get back from that but it depends how much I'm showing .. probably will have to tell them at 20 weeks in case this baby comes early too!

In the meantime I'm pretty motivated to show my dedication and hopefully will get my new junior to support me in the next month.

HeyJupiter · 31/03/2017 07:35

Oh Dancing what a day ahead of you - how wonderful. Sending lots of good luck vibes although I’m sure you won’t need them. So excited for you!

Huge congratulations Grumpy, so lovely so see it written so clearly and that’s an excellent strong line for 12DPO. It’s really happening!! I had loads of the spikey feeling at the beginning.

otters welcome! So lovely to have you on board - sounds like you’ve had a long journey already but it’s really positive that you’re having active treatment now and sounds like the clomid is starting to do the trick (can you explain how it works? I’m not very up to speed with some of this stuff)… plus you’re not out this month yet. Sending lots of best wishes and crossed fingers. This thread seems to be very lucky so hope that is the same for you too.

Tigger good luck for the booking in appointment! Can’t wait to hear all about it. Enjoy some pregnancy yoga this morning.

Hooray for Friday..feeling rough this morning. Have had this weird sore throat virus all week which has left me feeling feverish, bit sick and exhausted. Think that is now passing but am left with all the same symptoms (bar the throat bit) so assume must be pregnancy too! Ha. My brain is waiting for my body to go back to normal but I think but don’t think that’s going to happen anytime soon Grin

Just so bloody tired..back to back patients today, not sure how I'm going to manage it.

Tigger83 · 31/03/2017 07:17

Hi all! Welcome otters another one who's not that au fait with progesterone levels but just wanted to wish you luck.

Dancing good luck for the scan I'm sure all will be perfect. I'm really worried for mine too, it's in 3 weeks.

Grumpy that's a nice strong positive! How are you feeling about work now?

Jupiter congrats on being an aunt! So exciting!

Hb my back and hip has been awful on and off too, hot water bottles have helped a bit. Hope you're ok!

Parra hope ab isn't too awful for you! Enjoy the chocolate... I've just rediscovered mini eggs oh my word!

I have been having random cravings mainly sweet stuff which is weird as I'm usually savoury but I can get enough of cornflakes with sugar (naughty I know) any ice cream with a caramel sauce or flavour and cherry tomatoes with balsamic vinegar. I have worked out how best to manage my nausea, to graze through the day, lots of very small meals.

Got my booking in appointment tonight feel bit nervous, had my bloods last week, took them a lot of attempts as I have bad veins! Fortunately not squimish in the slightest.

Hope everyone has a nice day, off to do my pregnancy yoga DVD in a min

penguinsandotters · 31/03/2017 07:13

Just having a scroll through previous posts. I feel so welcome already thank you Smile
natur thanks for the tips. I'm not sure about eating liver! Might try the others.
penguin are you testing tomorrow? So am I, feeling both nervous and excited.
Anyone else testing soon?
Happy Friday everyone Smile

HbH · 31/03/2017 06:37

Urgh, this is me too dancing been awake since DH got up at 5.20am... my alarm set for 8... I'm usually the best sleeper!

TheGrumpySquirrel · 31/03/2017 06:33

Thanks dancing I'm not gonna test anymore now - run out of tests and I'm satisfied that the line has progressed a lot in 2 days. I expect GP may test me to confirm next week, not sure.
Enjoy the scan! 👶🏼

NaturWilde · 31/03/2017 06:32

Otters For three months prior to TTC I took Q10, Inositol, DHA, Seven Seas trying for a baby, Agnus Castus. I took baby aspirin from ovulation too, which I'll keep taking to end of 12 weeks.

Got my bfp first month of trying.

If I hadn't, I'd planned to start eating lots of liver! Heard it help many people who were TTC for years!

DancingUnicorn · 31/03/2017 06:30

I'm so cross that I'm awake!! Been awake for about an hour, but don't actually need to be until 8!! Gr!

Grumpy congratulations again! So nice to see the line getting darker and it in writing! Will you carry on testing? Or is that you satisfied?

Hi otter! I'm sorry it's been such a long and difficult journey for you. Here's hoping this is the cycle for you!!

Thanks for all the luck! Will feedback news either way this afternoon!

penguinsandotters · 31/03/2017 06:25

Congratulations grumpy and natur
I've been losing weight, exercising regularly, eating well, taking seven seas and folic acid, tried conceive plus this cycle and had reflexology for about 6 months. Just been reading about other supplements - agnus castus, DHEA, Coq10 - anyone have an experience. Am feeling quite desperate now and might try them next cycle if no BFP this time. Holding out hope but it's a sliver of hope!
