Name changed for this.
AF is over a week late ! Im eating like an absolute horse when i usually have no appetite at all and im getting on/off tummy ache but it doesn't feel like the usual AF symptoms which are quite strong Hmm
Im driving myself mad and not wanting to fork out £10 for a test if AF is going to show up in the next few days anyway
Im so confused Blush

Oh dear hope things are ok

What was the result of the A&E pregnancy test?

Namechangernancy · 20/03/2017 19:02

Had a sudden gush of blood at about 4pm at A&E now Sad

My AF arrives all of a sudden with zero symptoms sometimes. Totally out of the blue.....

Foggymist · 20/03/2017 15:37

When I had my chemical pregnancy it was very obviously different to af, af arrives in the morning quite lightly then ramps up by day 2 when the pain starts. Chemical pregnancy was a sudden gush of blood in the afternoon followed by intense pressure and cramps and more bleeding. Could well be an early MC.

Namechangernancy · 20/03/2017 14:34

He isn't a doctor but he took a lot of advice from the Dr last time we had a MC so he does actually know what he's talking about to an extent and he's usually right

Dp not dh, sorry

TipTop333 · 20/03/2017 14:31

Sorry af has arrived, hoping for a lucky cycle next time.

I might be tempted to tell you dh to pipe down a bit though, he seems to know a lot about the workings of women's bodies. I apologise if he is genuinely a doctor or something.

Namechangernancy · 20/03/2017 14:20

AF showed up at 3am out of the blue Hmm DP is convinced it is another early MC though because its so heavy and sudden with no symptoms

Just done the other clearblue test and it was NG before i did it Confused the stick was already showing a negative line when i took it out of the package so i didn't bother with it. What a waste of money clearblue Tests are Sad

The first thing your GP will do/ask you about is a pregnancy test.

If it's still negative, they might send you for a blood test. But if you're normally regular and this is a one off, may want to be wait and see.

Hope you get the result that you want.

Namechangernancy · 18/03/2017 23:04

Ive got a friend to order me some pink dye Tests on her Amazon for me so I'll try a clear blue tomorrow morning with FMU then the pink dye ones on Tuesday when they arrive and then if its still a mystery I'll ask the Dr on the Fri what's going on knowing my luck AF has skipped a month or switched dates completely to the 30th or something Hmm she's a bitch like that

ppleasebob · 18/03/2017 15:54

My BFP didn't show up on a Clear Blue but did on a Sainsburys and Superdrug - they're more sensitive I think. Fingers crossed!

TipTop333 · 18/03/2017 15:44

Hmmm after an hour I wouldn't trust it not to be an evap I'm afraid.

I hope you get a definite answer either way very soon!!

Namechangernancy · 18/03/2017 15:34

I thought clearblue were the most reliable hence the price Confused and i took that pic last night about an hour after taking the test im doing another test tomorrow with FMU i just want a definite answer Envy fed up and i feel rubbish I've never wanted AF to actually show herself so much in my life !! Hopefully the Dr can help when i go next week, my appointment isn't actually for this but im going to ask about it anyway and i don't have anymore spare cash for a FRER this month these clear blue ones have a tip that turns pink though

I think I see a line - I agree to try a pink line one. Sainsbury's are blue (but I found worked well). Asda were always good.

haveacupoftea · 18/03/2017 14:24

I can see a line but wouldnt trust a CB.

willitbe · 18/03/2017 14:20

Those clearblue tests are not good for testing with, try to get the pink two line tests.

Sazwest · 18/03/2017 13:57

I'd try and get a test that's pink dye as blue are the worst for Evaps. Get your self a frer xx

blondehair · 18/03/2017 13:56

My test only showed one line for a couple of minutes, I had to go back to it to double check it before I was sure that I was. Even when the cross did appear, one line was definitely lighter than the other x

TipTop333 · 18/03/2017 13:53

I can see something but cb can sometimes get evaps. I've heard of a lot of positive looking tests that should have been negative with these tests.

How long between poas and taking the photo was it?

Namechangernancy · 18/03/2017 13:52

DP says he can see a + but i can't can anyone else ? I was really sick nauseous today to i cant even eat anything or drink a cup of tea without wanting to throw up
All ive managed all day is a glass of oj for breakfast

I think im pregnant

I got some clear blues last night in tesco and did one before bed and it was negative Hmm so that's nearly 7 weeks with no AF for no reason apparently Confused I'm going to the doctors before work next week and waiting another week before doing this other test

OP posts:
Foggymist · 17/03/2017 12:40

And if you're over a week late you can poas any time of day regardless, that only applies to when af is due or barely late.

Foggymist · 17/03/2017 12:38

So you're over a week late but haven't done a test? That's a bit mad, surely that'd be the first thing to do. You don't have to "have" eBay or similar account to get cheap ones online, I ordered from an online pharmacy that required no log in and had them in two days. But I think I'd do a £3-10 test rather than driving myself mad for a week wondering about symptoms.
