ohb #whoopwhoop nice one

magpie thank you for sharing about your cycles. I think we work in 3 monthly cycles according to Chinese medicine but I've been tracking on a spreadsheet since July and I can't see a pattern tbh .... my cycles were 26-29 days with a 3 day bleed but this month my cycle was 30 days and af has been with me 4 days. I'm pleased about the 4 day bleed as I've been eating blood building soup all month :))
emh hugs and good luck at the docs Hun
amanda there are videos on the clearblue website on the opks.... flashing is fertile time static is peak fertility

I can't get my head around this😂😂😂😂😂 I honestly feel like such a doofus.

I have the dual hormone one - so the static smily ur basically ovulating???? That's the one I'm waiting for basically?????

Sorry I feel so stupid I feel like I need someone to come and teach me this hahahaha

EMHW123 · 16/03/2017 09:57

Morning all,

So
My cycles have gone from 31 days to 23 days. With spotting all the way through.

Off to see gp next week I think. Something isn't right in my vag region.

Bella, I hated those cb, I went back to good old iCs....

Thanks everyone for being lovely, I'll keep you updated and good luck to you all xx

MissMagpie · 16/03/2017 09:40

Bella, I feel for you. My cycle varies and changes every few months and it is a complete headf*ck. This month I have ovulated 5 or 6 days later than last month and last month and the one before were the shortest cycles I have ever had!

I think that in the past my cycle length has been affected by conception vitamins. I stopped taking the Pregnacare ones as I think they were messing everything up. I take Boots own ones now which have been ok - until this month! Maybe it is spring and daylight changing our body clocks or something, like Hippy said?!

Ohb0llocks · 16/03/2017 09:21

4 weeks today!

Lines looking much darker and weeks counter on digital has gone up ☺️☺️

cakes glad i'm not the only crazy who asks google if i'm upduffed lol.

Phase FX the witch stays away

EMH take as much time as you need, but remember we are here if you need us.

Amanda Lovely to hear that you're feeling optimistic. As annoying as it is, i think trying to stay chilled is a good approach. I would stay away from cough medicine, I've read it can be detrimental to ttc

Anna I use 3ml of preseed, 2 ml is good if you've got lots of EWCM though, 4ml is probably too much.

Dolly hello, how are you feeling?

Helly My DP can't always finish the job due to exhaustion with working too much... I feel for you hun.

Bella Love the sweater :)

Amanda Thanks for the pic - I wish my fertile window was that long :)

Moo Love a 4 day week :) My nan was Irish - so Happy St Paddys day for friday

bella this is all very confusing! Maybe you did ovulate on schedule and missed it in which you can expect AF to show as usual.

But if you haven't ovulated yet and get a static smiley today then don't worry about your luteal phase being too short for implantation. Your luteal phase doesn't change by much at all. So regardless if when you ovulate it will be the same. Ie. If you've ovulated 5 days late, our period will also turn up 5 days late. So no worries there the egg still has a perfect chance this cycle!

CakesALot · 16/03/2017 07:26

So frustrating @BellaMoon when you had such a standard cycle last time. It could still be your cycles getting back in sync but still doesn't help that it's massively annoying! Just keep going and see what happens. Fingers crossed for the static today and a later af than expected so Peggy and Doreen can find their cosy little bed

Had a few crampy twinges last night and this morning. Most likely in my head/indigestion/too many biscuits! Also pretty sure this happens every cycle now. I used to only get af symptoms the day before I was due. Last few months if been getting signs from about a week before. Why do pg symptoms have to be the same as af symptoms? #headfuckadoodle #2wwispants

Hippychic79 · 16/03/2017 07:25

bella I think it's too easy to beat ourselves up about this tTC lark ... I was stressed last cycle because my Accupuncture guy basically implied that it would be unlikely that I'd conceive til spring ... this stressed me out and I thought that was why I ovulated late ... but when all you ladies said you'd ovulated later too - I genuinely don't think this is a coincidence .... it can't be ... the universe has a powerful effect and we are all subject to it so I think when seasons shift - our bodies shift to align with this ... I know it's all a bit Hippy ... but that's me ... Hippy Chica xxxx

thanks @Hippychic79 i do remember around cd12 this cycle having some EWMC but that's the day i started RLT etc so i might have either popped wee peggy out early at that point and missed it on the test or completely delayed things. frustrating either way. of course it could be completely unrelated to anything i did and just mother nature reminding me not to assume everything will be like clockwork. anyway, ill keep POAS, now that iv mastered how not to pee on my own hand, and see what happens.

i like your theory of the change in seasons having something to do with the peggy's all being late to the party! i was beating myself
up a wee bit for jumping in with the different aids that i should have read up on more as i do seem to take reactions to certain herbs, oils etc - but if it's the change in season then i can let myself off the hook 😉😘

Hippychic79 · 16/03/2017 06:40

Morning bella how fecking annoying - you have a right to be feeling all over the place ... having read the low down above maybe the rlt has skewed things slightly. I'm still wondering whether you've ovulated at some point and just missed it ... I would be feeling in a bit of a spin as well if I were you so totally normal to be feeling confused and impatient. I guess all you can do is keep on testing and wait it out ... not ideal I know. Big hugs xxxxxxxxxxxx

BellaMoon · 16/03/2017 06:31

@AmandaP86x i followed the instructions to a T first cycle. started testing on cd8 (i was expecting a 28day cycle). big circle for 2 days, think i tested around 7am. then cd10 i got flashing smiley for 3 days meaning estrogen levels were higher (this is the dual hormone CB i'm talking about, think there might be a single hormone CB so check your box). got flashing smiley for 2 days. when you have a flashing smiley you can test as many times a day as you want as there's no real indication of how quickly you will peak (static smiley face) so cd13 i had loads of cramp, EWCM and sore boobs so i tested at 11pm and i got peak static smiley which meant within the next 24/36hours a peggy eggy should mature and release.

that was my first cycle off of BC so i was super shocked as i didn't expect to ovulate at all for a few months. just figured that my system would need a wee while to reboot but that went like text book and sure enough, cd28 AF rocked up.

i'm now cycle 2 and nothing is going according to plan at all.

i was away for cd8 so i was late in starting testing, i started cd12 and got nothing. on same day i started RLT and a new multivitamin. and right through til cd16
i had nothing on the OPKs. so i stopped the new vitamin, reverted back to just folic acid, stopped the tea too, and within a day, i got my flashing smiley at cd17 (there has been one result as a circle) otherwise all flashing so estrogen is rising but no LH surge as yet and i'm now cd21. just tested this morning and still flashing. fingers crossed it goes status today as this is day5.

could be a total coincidence and a lot of women have used RLT and conception vitamins but they weren't right for me or maybe i took them at the wrong time.

i have had 2 cycles to track and they couldn't be more different #headfuck #literally

i'm now in the position where AF is due on 24/03 (according to previous 28day cycle) but as i haven't ovulated yet, i'm either not going to have the required 10day LH phase for implantation as AF will show within 8 days or i'll be in limbo cos ill need to track how long my LH phase is hoping and praying it's long enough to aid implantation.

or i might not have an LH surge at all this month as iv just read there are other reasons you can get an estrogen rise (flashing smiley) but wish i had never read all that as doctor google has me all over the place.

now i realise iv written now about a 5second snapshot of what's going on in my total bewildered head this morning. i was totally expecting a static smiley this morn #jeezo #hurryupwillyou

amanda apparently testing in the afternoon about 2pm is the optimum time - I've always got my static in the morning though and as I drink a lot of water (mainly in the week) I think it's best I test sooner in the day as I've read too much water can affect things :) xxx

AmandaP86x · 15/03/2017 23:44

Thanks hippy! Loving the meme as always.

Does anyone else test in afternoon? Iv read a couple of things about using them in the afternoon xxxx

Moo31 · 15/03/2017 23:29

Hi all sorry I've been quiet had a crazy week! Anyone else find when they do a 4 day week you end up doing 5+ days work in 4 days? Gearing up for St Paddy's Day here on Friday so a lovely long weekend yippee! :)

Loving today's memes hippy!! Made me lol! Grin

Hope everyone is well. I have been reading but just haven't had time to comment.

Amanda my cycles have averaged 30/31/31 days and I ovd on cd16 so you might be similar.

Hippychic79 · 15/03/2017 22:09

Static means lh surge . I have 28 day cycle average so start on cd 11 and I test first thing in morning xxx

evening y'all

another day, another flashing smiley OPKs (one this morn and 2 this evening)! not complaining as i'd be in a right huff if i'd missed peggy!

have given DH the night off from pumpage. he too seems to be too focussed on the pressure of releasing the doreen's and has
turned love making into a chore, so since tuesday, i haven't told him that we have flashing smileys and hope peak fertility any day now. since not telling him i'm POAS daft, he's back to his usual self, giving it large to doreen left right and centre! i actually cannot be bothered tonight!

if static smiley arrives in the morning, i might just resort to (shameful admission alert) a handjob to wake him up and then shake my toosh towards the finish line 🙈 what's a girl to do when she's tired 🤷🏼‍♀️

do we have any BFP news? i haven't the energy this evening to scroll back #sorry #humpdayenergylow

also, girl gang Tshirts are now on order! doing a BOGOF with these beauts 😂😘 #ladycuntington #bantereventhoughimsleepy

@hellybellyjellybean quickies are perfect for most of your fw! Certainly in this household. DH has been through exactly the same on the not finishing the job issue, although his was because of meds he was on. That and the pressure of me probably subconsciously glaring at him for his Doreen's made for some awkward sessions 😬😬 we got DD during this time though. And a previous pregnancy that ended in mmc. It just takes one Doreen after all!

@EMHW123 no need to bow out hun. Keep popping in even if it's just for a read. And rant away if you need to. We all believe in the benefits of PMA but it's bloody hard keeping it up all the time.

hellybellyjellybean · 15/03/2017 19:38

Midst of fw, was all excited for lots of dtd, well did it tonight and Monday night DH didn't release the Doreen! Both times were v long and he had tired mphimself out he couldn't 'finish' the job! Flipping frustrating!! I'm like thinking cmon love quicker is fine but as long you get the job done! Doing all I can not to say this but think he's starting to put too much pressure on himself and seems to think as we are now proper proper 'trying' it has to be marathon sessions! Worried it's another month out but hope when he gets back from the football we can have a quickie before bed! Grrr! Hope everyone else is having better luck!

Anna2006 · 15/03/2017 18:45

Dolly thanks for the advice re pre seed. So do you think I should start off with 2ml an see how I get on? I produce a fair amount of my own lubrication at FW anyway so can see how 4ml would be way too much!

Really hoping it works for us too and gives more of the swimmers chance to get up there!

Hippychic79 · 15/03/2017 18:29

Evening ladies -
I know it's hard to keep the PMA up but every month we are one month closer to our bfp or giving birth in your case dolly moo and ohb
