Also the date he was conceived was also the last day of af (cd6) which meant it was the 28th April before I realised I was late.

rainbowsockstoday · 23/03/2017 00:11

No he wasn't. Our hospital only allow a week over at most and start sweeps at 36weeks. My due date calculated as a Christmas baby but my conception date of 22/03 put him after Christmas as you have 7-10 days AFTER ov added to create your edd by scan.

Roseandbee · 22/03/2017 23:19

Archie's I'd be conceiving about then if I OV as usual, but I guess the hycosy might delay things

Roseandbee · 22/03/2017 23:14

Rainbow the due date calculators are putting me at the 23rd of December and ive not even ovulated yet, I'm cd 6 I think. Was your son a few weeks late?

ArchiesMamaBird · 22/03/2017 23:12

*obvs once iced was meant to say conceived, but pissing myself here at the thought that I once iced DS 🙈😂

ArchiesMamaBird · 22/03/2017 23:11

Rainbow I once iced DS on 28th March (approx) and he was due Xmas Eve, and born 29th Dec Grin

rainbowsockstoday · 22/03/2017 21:57

Please don't kick me off the bus but we do all know that the only way we are going to have a Christmas baby as a) by already having a confirmed bfp or b) having a baby born early. Anyone conceiving last week onwards is having a January baby. Today is my sons 3rd conception day and he was born a solid 10, nearly 11, days AFTER Christmas 😬

AmandaP86x · 22/03/2017 20:37

Hi girls hope you all had a lovely Wednesday! Iv had a very productive positive week so far!!! Spring cleaned my whole house it's absolutely shining lol! Made the gym twice & made good home made dinners! 😂 Feeling very proud of myself lol! Back to work tomorrow.

I am CD9 and I done my OPK at 2pm today. Got low fertility. I have some kinda thick creamy discharge (sorry tmi) is that usual early on in ur cycle???

Anyway dtd so keeping this positive head on for my wee xmas baby x

BellaMoon · 22/03/2017 19:55

every other day

rainbowsockstoday · 22/03/2017 19:31

What's EOD?

BellaMoon · 22/03/2017 19:12

evening all sexy ladeezz

v interesting to read about the fertility help/processes. thanks for sharing xx

sympathising with all in the 2ww - i didn't really have that last month cos i was so confused with my peggy v's flashing smiley faces saga. the 2ww went by without me even noticing haha. every cloud eh!

cd2 here and with @CakesALot in the planning stage, planning nights out (non booze cos i'm still sore from sunday's hangover), food, holidays ohhh and deciding what we will do this cycle, POAS OPKS, SMEP, EOD orrrr just chill the fuck out (i'm 50/50 kinda person with chilling out, i like to be an organised proactive chiller outer).

hope anyone near or around london tonight is safe and no1 related to any of you are directly affected xxx

Anna2006 · 22/03/2017 18:37

It deffo is a roller coaster! Doubts always creep into my mind now & I don't really feel the excitement. I'm not sure I will even with a positive test. More fear or the unknown again. But I guess that's normal if you suffer a loss. It won't ever be the same as the first time.

Still the parts I didn't get to will be exciting! So once I get past 13 week mark I think I'd be in full swing!

Xmas baby is on it's way. It better be! Slightly darker OPK today. Could be positive in next few days so PMA here

Xx

MissMagpie · 22/03/2017 17:58

CD1 ladies...go get it! This could be your month! BFP at the finish line!
PMA all the way.

I am at 7dpo. No symptoms but there wouldn't be yet anyway.

Roseandbee · 22/03/2017 17:51

Anna yes that's the reason you have to avoid unprotected dtd as if u ovulated early for some reason and conceived it wouldn't be safe to do it. I have heard of women having it later in their cycle though but my info sheet said between day 8-10 and you mustn't still be having any af bleeding.

Cakes & Anna I think it is def worse being in the 2ww, cd 1 your making your plans and then have a mission to dtd at the right time. 2ww your just in limbo although it is slightly exciting knowing it could be your time but all the doubts are creeping in and it's all just a bit of a roller. The other day I said to my DH "do you know how frustrating it is to not know wether your growing another human inside your or not?"

rainbowsockstoday · 22/03/2017 15:41

DH has definitely cottoned on to the fact the eggy has been and gone. That means no more touching till the 5/6th April now 😆

Anna2006 · 22/03/2017 13:39

That all does sound a bit stupid. Maybe it's so the dye stuff doesn't go in if you could potentially be pregnant and disrupt it before a BFP? But then if you say they do it like CD11 anyway it shouldn't matter?! I'd just ignore it. 18 month waiting list is ridiculous. This is people's lives!

Sounds like good plans cakes! CD12 for me today. Got first bit of EWCM yesterday which was bit earlier for me. So DTD antes with pressed. Sticking to my plan of EOD until I get positive OPK. I had a faint line yesterday so maybe it's closer than I think. I didn't ovulate until CD16 last cycle.

It makes me really nervous now. Is that stupid? Nervous that it won't work again and will be back at the start again next month 😩 #COMEONDOREENS

ArchiesMamaBird · 22/03/2017 13:35

But surely if you got upduffed then you wouldn't need to carry on with the tests anymore, so you'd just ring up and cancel. So why are they so worried about you ttc? I swear these GPs don't understand how hard this ttc malarkey is

CakesALot · 22/03/2017 12:47

@rainbowsockstoday how are you meant to just stop TTC for 18months??! Do they realise how crazy that is! I'd be ignoring it too.

Thanks @Roseandbee. Yes I think I always feel positive too. I like to plan things and get a bit of control. It generally falls to pot in the end but it makes me happy for a while!

Roseandbee · 22/03/2017 12:44

Rainbow that is so ridiculous! I just had to ring up on day 1 of my period and the fitted me in for cycle day 11 as the say they like to do it around cycle day 10. Could you not just avoid ttc between say cd 1-12 and then dtd in time for ovulation?

Roseandbee · 22/03/2017 12:37

Cakes good luck with your new cycle. I always feel super positive on cd1 even though it's the official end of the previous attempt. Don't know if I just get some kind of hormone mood boost or it's just a relief to have a fresh start again.

rainbowsockstoday · 22/03/2017 12:37

I have already started the process. I've had my 21 day bloods, 1-4day bloods, ultrasound and internal ultrasound for follicle count as well as dh having Doreen count. The letters below are the next steps but the waiting list here is 18mths long and you can't be ttc within that time as when there's a cancellation they ring up and get you in on short notice. You can't be pregnant when you have it so must hold off ttc just in case. I'm ignoring this so far.

Salem my husband had his Doreen so checked before my 21 day blood test. Don't see why it can be done now you need both for a proper investigation as it's not like if they find a problem in your day 21 that means your husband gets the all clear. They need to check if both, none or one of you have a problem.
Archie's the Fallopian tube thing is called a hycosy or hsg I'm having mine done on Monday
Amanda when I'm getting close to ovulation i test a few times a day so I don't miss it. Otherwise I aim for about 10-12 on the days I'm not really expecting it.
I've always loved Christmas babies, I get extra excited when some one I know is expecting then, my niece was born Christmas Eve uk time which is when my family's main Christmas celebration takes place. She lives in America though so her bd is actually the 23rd

ArchiesMamaBird · 22/03/2017 09:38

Salem I had the 21 day bloods done, and my results came back as normal and fine.

Then I booked another appt and the DR said thae next step is for DH to have his sperm tested (he's going next week) and I've been booked in for an ultrasound and internal scan on 6th April.

If they come back normal then he said I will go and have the dye test, where they insert it through your Fallopian tubes (not sure what it's called?)

Then if all of that is clear, he said we carry on trying until we get to the 2 year mark, then he will refer us for fertility treatment, but we'd have to pay for it privately as we already have DS.

SalemTheTeenageWitch · 22/03/2017 08:49

Has anyone had the 21 day blood test. If so, what happens next?

DH went to ask about his Doreen's and was told that I have to be tested first. Even though DH is the one who had an operation on one of his testes! Very very very tempted to pay for private but then I had a thought... what if it is me?! Shock So I am going along for the blood test next Tuesday!
