@hippy unfortunately that's not a real option to fall in love again as I'm married and morally couldn't cheat.

What I am doing is boil washing towels and bedding because my son has sticky eyes. All good though as mummy makes magic medicine and he's gone to bed with milk in his eyes!

Have a lovely weekend ladies xx

sarahboro1 · 31/03/2017 21:39

@rainbowsockstoday @Moo31 ohh I remember the thirst! But I do worry as I was hospitalised with hyperemesis with DS so I have a little bit of a panic whenever I feel nauseous/throw up!

Ice cold water, I'll try it!

CakesALot · 31/03/2017 15:44

Hash tagging made me realise we've not heard from @BellaMoon for a while?? Hope you're ok?!

On my to dds parents evening. She 2! Parents evening for a 2 year old?!! Will be super cute though #sogratefulforwhatialreadyhave #pmaforever

rainbowsockstoday · 31/03/2017 15:32

@dolly I fully believe babies are conceived when you're in love and happy. When I first met DH we were in love and happy and that's how we conceived. Now it's all different we aren't conceiving and I think that's why. I need to fall in love again.

Dollydaydream2829 · 31/03/2017 15:04

Italy sounds amazing magpie - hope you have a fab time!

Just home from a lovely spa break, feeling relaxed and refreshed. Loved it even without the jacuzzi & steam room!
I received a lovely treatment from a woman who was very interested in my pregnancy (I'd had to let them know on my questionnaire) .... She is 43 and had spent years with a man who hadn't been the best to her, she'd tried for a family despite this and it hadn't happened. It later turned out after investigations that she wasn't fertile. She met her new man, moved up north and after a couple of years of intense meditation and reordering her thought processes and beliefs, she had come round to her life being wonderful without children. Low and behold, here she was, pregnant! In the early stages too. And she was thrilled. I honestly felt so happy for her. She fully believed in fate and said that she obviously was meant for that path as she hadnt been 'trying' for a number of years, but wasnt preventing either. It just happened for her. She would've been happy with what she had but she was going to be even happier now. How about her for a brilliant PMA inspiration!?

MissMagpie · 31/03/2017 14:06

I am off to Italy for 10 days (with the 2yo in tow) so hoping for a lovely, relaxing time (bar tantrums and refusal to nap!!).

I might take a couple of opks and use them if I am panicking but otherwise try and avoid it.

I really think stress is the main obstacle to me conceiving so that is what I am trying to alleviate.. I stress I'm not ovulating, that I'm not fertile, that my eggs aren't good enough, etc etc when I know that none of that is true. Stress from work also gets in the way of feeling in the mood so I am trying to compartmentalise more.

The visualisation and PMA is helping me through all this - I am now getting excited for when I get pregnant and I am enjoying my days as a mum of 1 and really appreciating the time with my son at the moment.

Hippychic79 · 31/03/2017 13:04

Cakes Sounds like you're feeling better.... yaaaaay just in time for getting some action in. I'm off to stay with the in laws this weekend ... thank god it's not f/w :) lol

@MissMagpie I'd say leave the opks at home and just chill. But then I'm crap at using the things so have ditched them as a rule anyway! I'm having a very switched off cycle this month. I'm cd10 today but DH and I have both been ill this week so no dtd at all so far. Plan to get busy the next few days because away and cooped up in a house with the inlaws for a week after that!

I'm cycle 6 too, let's hope it keeps being lucky!

Hippychic79 · 31/03/2017 11:53

Magpie I would take your OPK's on holiday and decide as and when if you want to use them. I didn't use opk's this cycle as i needed to take a chill pill, and it was easy at the beginning of the cycle, thinking 'yeah I've got this, no opks blah blah blah'. Then around my peak time, i did have a little wobble and almost caved - had the stick out, but didn't have enough pee in the pot (yes I can't poas).... anyway i took this as a sign not to bother and put the opk back in the drawer.... my point being though, it was nice to have the opk there if needed.... a bit of a safety net if you like. I would take them, try to relax and not use them... but if you feel the urge you'll have them with you and won't end up panicking / stressing... which is absolutely no good for ttc
have a lovely time.....
when and where are you going again? sorry memory like a sieve

So sorry for AF Helly, Sarah and Rainbow. Treat yourselves and then get ready to get back on it!!

The morning sickness sounds very unpleasant pregnant ladies. Hope you feel better soon. I found ready salted crisps were a good cure!!

I need some opinions on whether to take my OPKs on holiday or just dtd whenever I feel like it as I'm away and relaxed? I am pretty good at reading my CM so don't think I would miss ovulation anyway.

Hello everyone else on here! Not written much this week but am keeping up with the reading. Love this thread and all the support for each other.

Good PMA as always Hippy!
