@rainbowsockstoday hope things work out for you. Sorry to hear that. Is hospital TTC related (I scrolled back a few pages but couldn't see a mention). good luck at the hospital and a speedy recovery xxx Flowers

rainbowsockstoday · 04/04/2017 07:33

Good morning ladies. I want to wish you all the happiness and luck in the world having your babies. Keep up your positive vibes and support of each other.

I have been told we won't be having anymore babies for now and so need to concentrate on the one I have and one we should have had for a little while. I'm sure in a few weeks when I recover and come out of hospital I will feel different but for now I am passing all my positivity onto you all to carry.

Meditation helps, red clover helps, being in love helps and just enjoying life. Don't be worried about booking things because as soon as you have loads of plans and busy things to do that little poppet will show up! Xxx

@olicat the men on OBEM always make me cringe, i watched 1 episode and the guy blew up a latex glove and was hitting his partner across the head with it while she's contracting, he thought it was hilarious... i don't think i'd be laughing. men eh?? hehe.

@Hippychic79 fab quotes this morn, never thought i'd say it but i'll take some of that morning sickness too please 🙋🏼

this stat on my ovia made me smile this morn. i hope and pray that i'm entering into my last 2ww to make my winter baby fantasy a reality. iv even found myself saying "when" not "if" without even thinking so my #PMA is in full swing. mind is engaged, body is willing, come on universe, do yo thang #please #prettypleasewithcherryontop

olicat sounds like your PMA is in tact :) I've never seen obem so may give it a whirl this evening as dp is out ... :))

bella glad you had a happy Monday for dp's birthday and that Peggy came to party too. I think doing opks for a good few months give you the reassurance you need to know your ovulating. Glad your trapped wind eased up 😂
Happy Tuesday ladies ... I'm off to the gym
Not sure what cd I am but definitely in 2ww

iv got the baby making bible on ibooks, dip in and out as have had busy evenings lately so not much reading time. will focus on this during april as a promise to myself #bookworm #sofarsogood

evenin' all 👮 hope your mondays weren't too shabby. i had a lovely day with DH for his birthday #whosbirthdayisit #whatshisismine 😂

cd14 and my bizarre ov pain (or trapped wind as i suspect it actually was) all gone. i did the CB digital OPKs LH only this month and got my smiley face yday. i genuinely have felt nothing, no EWCM, breast tenderness, mood change or even OV pain (i admit, it was definitely wind). if i hadn't done the OPKs i would have put top dollar on a missing peggy again this month. so hats off to you all not OPK'ing. although my sex pest behaviour is a clear indication i was in the height of my FW lol

off for an early night now ladies, catchya on the flip side ✌🏼 and ❤️

olicat · 03/04/2017 19:13

CD7 and can't wait til my fw! Having fun practising but will be good to be like 'this could be the one' after DTD. Anyone excited for the new series of OBEM starting tomorrow? I never get tired of it, although my DP has requested that we don't watch it while eating Grin

Hippychic79 · 03/04/2017 19:13

Ps - I'm not on commission 😂

In terms of tips - both books contain loads of good tips ... too many to list and or remember but the way she structures both books helps you to see at a glance what you need xxx

magpie hi :)) I have the zita west one too - I'm a bit of a book worm and I like to know everything I can do to aid tTC - you're right it feels like your doing something.
Emma cannons total fertility book is very good with advising what to eat to aid each part of your cycle... it covers much the same info as in the baby making bible ... it doesn't just talk about food ... it helps you to ascertain what to do depending on what your cycle is like ... both books are superb xxx

Yay for PMA on a sunny Monday!!

I have a Zita West book and am considering buying Emma Cannon's new book. It helps me feel like I am 'doing' something positive.

What top tips have you found from the book Archies and Hippy? Anything that sticks out in your mind that we might benefit from?

Hippychic79 · 03/04/2017 15:49

Amanda I have that book, echo what Archies said. Emma Cannon's Total Fertility book is great too :) Happy reading

Amanda I have that book. It's fab, although quite a lot to get your head around at first because it focuses a lot on Chinese medicine. But I've got some great tips from it so far.

AmandaP86x · 03/04/2017 15:22

Hi girls

I don't know when I ovulated lol is that the date I got the static smiley? I am off work next week which is when I can apprenetly take a PG test so hopefully that stops me from taking one & just waiting for Af to arrive if she wishes to do so.

Speaking with couple of people in work someone recommended the book "the baby making bible" don't know if any of u have it but might download it onto my iPad later and have a look!!

Attaching some funny memes for a Monday 👏🏻😊💕

Welcome supper

Yes I think you our right hippy she must be having a relaxed cycle.

I'm testing on Saturday 😬😬😬

Hippychic79 · 03/04/2017 14:10

Archies Glad to hear your PMA is on the up and up. The acupuncture, the sunshine and the lack of stress with dropping the temping and opk’s are obviously helping. FX you get your BFP chic.

Supper I hadn’t been on any contraception for a good two years before I met my DP so I can’t recall how long it took for my cycles to regulate, however I have read it can take a wee while so try not to worry too much. As Archies said, worrying definitely doesn’t help with ovulating and ttc. I’m confident my ovulation was delayed last month too due to stressing out about it! If monitoring CM and temping are disheartening you, maybe try using opks instead next cycle as these will give you a clear indication of when you ovulate – just a thought, it’s totally your call though. Drat – sorry to hear acupuncture is expensive, that’s London for you I guess. I’m always shocked by London pricing when I visit for the day! Reference dtd - my DP and I only manage once sometimes twice a week, so don’t worry too much although if you can hit 3 times in fertile week I guess that helps…. But remember – it only takes one Doreen (we call sperm Doreen on here in case you hadn’t picked up on that yet). Yes – anything creative that keeps your mind off ttc is definitely to be welcomed…. We know where to come for bespoke baby outfits 😊

Dolly Hi – I’m very well thank you… I am enjoying this relaxed cycle, although I do wish I knew what day I’d ovulated, but then I guess that negates the point of a chilled out cycle! Lol How are you getting on?

Supper Anything to take our minds off TTC is always a bonus! This thread is lovely too. It's definitely helped with my PMA since I joined. As soon as I start feeling a bit negative I pop on here and it really cheers me up Smile

Supper16 · 03/04/2017 11:05

@archiesmamabird thanks, you are so right. I'm usually pretty good at staying relaxed. If I can just be sure I'm OV at all, I'll happily chuck the thermometer for the remaining cycles. Yes I also think DTD regularly throughout is the way to go. Gotta work on that too, DH and I are once a week people usually but have gone up to twice a week (so we have doubled it!!) but need to fit in another here or there...

I'm a really keen hobby sewist and have booked a 10 week dressmaking course which starts at the end of April. I've been waiting since January for it to start and I'm sooo excited - hopefully it'll take up so much brain space it'll push all the TTC stress out!!!

ArchiesMamaBird · 03/04/2017 10:39

Supper I know that everyone says it and it's so hard to do it, but try not to get too stressed. I've had months where I've been OPKing and stressing because I didn't see my peak fertility, and I'm sure that the stressing delayed my OV even more. My doctors advice was to just DTD every 2-3 days throughout the cycle and not to worry about tracking OV (because some couples focus so much on DTD up to OV, that they then stop and might not have actually OV yet and end up missing it)

Dollydaydream2829 · 03/04/2017 09:58

Morning ladies ☉
It's such a lovely sunny day here which can't help but put me in a great mood - even with a Monday late shift lurking! Hope everyone else is enjoying some sunshine too and a happy Monday morning.

bella hope you enjoy your day today - sounds like your DH is in for a blinder of a birthday !

Hi supper - give it a couple days of being on here and guarantee you'll have some PMA back on board. These ladies have managed to do that for me in times when I've felt it was impossible! Try not to get too disheartened, it's still very early doors for you and your body might just be taking its time to get back to normal.

Glad you're having such a relaxing cycle archie - FX it's your BFP cycle and that's why you're feeling so happy about everything, your subconscious is telling you....

Morning moo - how are your symptoms?

Happy Monday hippy hope you're still enjoying your relaxing cycle! And some sunshine!

Supper16 · 03/04/2017 09:48

@BellaMoon and @Hippychic79 thanks for being so friendly Smile

There is nothing unusual to my story, I'm just regulating after coming off the pill at Xmas. I know it's a path many women have tread before and I just need to be calm and patient but just having a bit of a blip today and wanted to reach out Sad I am 30 and ttc#1.

Thanks for the reading recommendation @hippy. I'm finding reading my CM and temping so disheartening atm - I know what results I should be getting but am just not seeing that! So may give the book a go. Would prefer not to start OPK's as it'll be another thing to worry about. Looked into acupuncture briefly but it's expensive here in London.

@Bella sounds like a lovely day you have planned for your DH. Hope everyone has a good Monday Flowers

ArchiesMamaBird · 03/04/2017 09:47

Morning ladies Smile

Hope you have a lovely day Bella and get DTD. How cute would it be for your baby to be conceived on your DH's birthday Wink

I'm in 2WW, but not quite sure where as not been tracking OV this month. I've been feeling super relaxed and happy about EVERYTHING the last few days. Not sure if it's the lovely sunshine, the acupuncture I had last week or just tons of #PMA but I'd like to to carry on!

Hope you all have a lovely Monday Smile

Moo31 · 03/04/2017 09:37

Welcome supper to thread PMA xxx
I can see why you'd be feeling down... are you able to provide a bit of an overview of your story? Are you tTC number 1? How old are you? How long have you been trying? I read up a lot on tTC and regulating your cycle is key - I'm not sure how much you've read of this thread as we can't tell if ladies are lurking ... but a very good book I would recommend is Emma cannons total fertility which will give some great tips on regulating cycle and advice on what you can do depending on what kind of symptoms you have with regard to your menstrual cycle .... Accupuncture is also excellent for tTC and regulating cycle xxx
