Hi ladies, I'm due to test on the 8/9th March and 2puld love a few ladies to share the journey with. Some of the groups are super big and it would be lovely to start a smaller group to be TTC buddies? I'm 30, ttc no 2, cycle 1 Smile

Thanks bumphopes. Sadly a negative today on a frer 13dpo 😬

harryandharry · 13/03/2017 03:14

Tested today (13 DPO) with a cheapo HPT - negative. But I still feel like there's a chance. Fingers crossed for everyone

bumphopes · 12/03/2017 19:07

Fingers crossed for tomorrow Oldschool

If anybody has a co-op near them I find their own brand are very sensitive, for me I had very similar results to FRERs. I got this as 11DPO last month. (Lost that one at 5weeks.) but back on the horse immediately.

Anyone want to be TTC buddies
Oldschool41 · 12/03/2017 18:51

I am testing tomorrow, I got BFN on an early response (frer) this morning, so will test tomorrow 😀

Littlemisssugarplum88 · 12/03/2017 18:45

I got a positive on a clearblue digital pregnant test 10dpo but the cheap ones didn't show up for me until a week after. Sadly that one ended in mc (first and only pregnancy so far).
I'm hoping to test on wed or thurs I think xx

bumphopes · 12/03/2017 18:12

Littlemiss I've been pregnant a few time (no baby sadly) and never got a BFP before 12dpo. Even then it's always been so light then had early miscarriages/CPs. So I'm going to test Tuesday. Seems so far away yet it's two days away!!!! 2ww is horrible!

Anybody testing tomorrow? X

Littlemisssugarplum88 · 12/03/2017 18:05

I think I'd be taking a test bump at 10dpo. Good luck xx

Beardy1 · 12/03/2017 17:52

Hi harry, that's great of thry work for you. Everyone's different. Amazing with the symptom spotting. I'll keep fingers and toes crossed for you.

Hi bump, I've been looking st my bbt chart and some months I have had a big increase. Any other signs?

bumphopes · 12/03/2017 09:22

Any body else experienced a big temp shift, upwards, around 10dpo?

harryandharry · 12/03/2017 06:54

For me doing a CB digital ovulation test actually helped me to relax a bit more as it took some of the guess work out of TTC. I agree that looking at the lines on the ordinary test sticks every morning can be stressful but the smiley face on the digital ones gives you a more definite answer. That way you don't feel pressured to do it all the time in case you miss your O day, you can just do it around the time of the smiley face day each month.

PS I think the back / shoulder pain might be a result of boobs getting heavier, which might be a good sign? Unless I'm imagining it, which is quite possible also.

Beardy1 · 11/03/2017 21:38

Littlemiss congrats on the new job. I'm sure it will help working more sociable hours and being able to relax more. I did a similar switch a couple of years ago and it was the best move. Life is far more chilled now. I just need to get through this weird grieving process. I was doing really well and had started to feel somewhat normal but the MC has definetly set me back a bit. My anxiety appears to be worse but I'm thinking that's the hormones from pregnancy screwing with me. Did you get any of that?

Littlemisssugarplum88 · 11/03/2017 19:50

It's all good though Beardy, I've just got a new job which is Monday to Friday; no nights, no weekends, no Xmas or new year...it'll be a little loss in pay but all worth it though. After having my mc I want to try anything that may help it to be avoided again in the future and then at least I can say I tried. I was working nights when I was pregnant and I was absolutely exhausted and wasn't eating properly, so hopefully this will be a little less stressful for me :) xx

Beardy1 · 11/03/2017 19:06

Littlemiss wow night shifts!! I bet the time passes. Go you for working those shifts, I'd be useless. Anymore symptoms?

Beansy I agree with littlemiss. If your just starting out avoid the ovulation sticks and learn about your cervical mucus and when your in the mood. Sticks become a real pressure and get really obsessive. Good luck lady. This is the fun part.

Beansy30 · 11/03/2017 17:04

It does! That was my plan but then I see so much chat of ovulation sticks! Just enjoying the excitement of it all.

Littlemisssugarplum88 · 11/03/2017 16:44

Beardy I'm on night shifts at the mo and finish Monday morning; sleeping all day and working all night tends to make time go a bit quicker and then I'll only have 2 days to wait from there. So if I look at it like that it doesn't seem quite as long 🙈haha!
Welcome Beansy and I wish you lots of luck on your new journey. If you're only just beginning ttc I'd suggest leave the ovulation tests and just enjoy the sex (especially mid cycle) because otherwise it all becomes a lot less fun when you're dtd just because an ovulation test tells you to rather than when you both actually want to (if that makes sense) xx

Beansy30 · 11/03/2017 14:14

Can I join please? I got my contraceptive implant in October. Stopped condoms after last period so technically TTC. Now 6 days past ovulation with 8 days before AF due.

Seeing lots of chat about ovulation sticks but I think I might become obsessed. Did anyone use them at the very beginning of TTC first child?

Beardy1 · 11/03/2017 12:52

Harry sharp pain in shoulder may be ectopic but don't worry if your really early. I don't want to panic you.

Littlemiss gas is a good sign. Fingers crossed. Not long till Wednesday. What are you going to do to keep busy?

Littlemisssugarplum88 · 11/03/2017 08:01

Harry, I know with ectopic pregnancies you tend to get shoulder pain but it's probably too early for that if af isn't even late yet.

Beardy, I also have quite a lot of 'gas' too but other than that nothing really to complain about. I was wed to hurry up so I can test lol xx

Beardy1 · 11/03/2017 06:31

Littlemiss, oh I see about the scan. Well I have all fingers and toes crossed. Anymore symptoms? What a lovely surprise finding out you were pregnant on your birthday. Shame about the outcome. I'm hoping you get your sticky bean this time.

Bumphopes, what are you studying? It's a nightmare it doesn't keep you busy.

Welcome harry, sounds like your doing all the right things. I haven't heard of anything like shoulder pain from early pregnancy symptoms but it could be something independent to you. Is it an aching pain or sharp?

harryandharry · 11/03/2017 04:46

Hello everyone do you mind if I join? I looked at the other threads but there were so many posts I didn't know where to start. I have just turned 31 and have been TTC #1 for four months but trying not to get too obsessed! This month I made a special effort, bought a CB digital OPK, took evening primrose oil, etc, so I am feeling positive. AF due in 3 days according to the app on my phone or 7 days by my own calculations. So far the only symptom out of the ordinary is really bad pain in my shoulders and upper back but I guess that could be anything. Did anyone else have that in very early pregnancy? I am trying not to get my hopes up because the disappointment can be pretty crushing.

Littlemisssugarplum88 · 11/03/2017 00:16

It was just an internal scan to show a good sized follicle ready to release an egg the following day. So of course we dtd then so fingers crossed.
I found out I was pregnant (before my mc) on my birthday and it was such a lovely present but obviously it didn't work out :( xx

Beardy1 · 10/03/2017 21:57

Littlemiss how weird about the mucus. MC does change everything. I have been exactly a week after my normal period and continued to take my bbt temp and cm after MC and I could tell when I ovulated. Although I had quite a lot of ewcm which came out of nowhere for two days (sorry tmi), far more than normal. That's great you had a fertility scan to check. What does that involve? This tww could be the lucky one. I found that I never got a smiley face on the clear blue, just the flashing one. I guess it all depends on The individual.
I'm also having weekly acupuncture to ensure my cycle returns quickly back to normal. I'd love to conceive this month as it's our first year wedding anniversary in April and it'd be a lovely gift.

Littlemisssugarplum88 · 10/03/2017 19:44

My periods have been a couple of days longer and each time I've had clear mucous a few days before AF so I thought it might be a pregnancy sign coz I'd never had that before my mc, but obviously it wasn't a sign.
I had a fertility scan last Friday showing I was ovulating so I used the clearblue digital tests and I got a smiley face, I also dipped the same urine with a cheap eBay test and there wasn't even a sign of a line at all so I'm not using them again. I know others have had luck with them tho xx

Beardy1 · 10/03/2017 19:18

Littlemiss I'm gonna go with out the ovulation sticks and see what my body is doing. I used them for two months and became obsessed, it was super weird when I looked back. It totally effected my poor hubby performsnce so I like to go eau natural now. Although after the MC I'm slightly cautious that things will be out of sync so will see how it goes. Did you find any difference after yours? Do you use the ovulation sticks?

bumphopes · 10/03/2017 07:55

Mammabook I am definitely finding it all consuming. I'm studying too and and before ttc I was very dedicated to my studies but now the only thing I seem to be able to concentrate on is reading about how to get pregnant!
How are you doing? Are you out this month?
