buzzmoon · 06/03/2017 20:10

Yay to not vomming mrs!

Welcome flower you're deffo in the right place! I'm please that there are quite a few of us starting in May! Yay it will be here before we know it I hope! 🎉

MrsC2017 · 06/03/2017 20:07

Hi girls! Didn't vom on the bus today, success! Also had gp appointment and back tomorrow for booking with the nurse, height, weight, blood etc, gp has also said she will write a letter on my behalf for the c section I want, she said it's no guarantee but to keep pushing it and hopefully they'll listen so I guess she can do no more but I'll be preparing to bring my fighting spirit in for my hospital appointments. She knows this isn't something I've said lightly and she fully agrees with and supports my decision so that's such a relief!
Welcome flower you're in the right place!
red I think your attitude regarding ttc is really good! Good for u girl!
confused I had a meltdown over money this week too, I'm a little calmer if I push it right out of my mind, no debts to speak off but just finding it a struggle since Christmas, seems to be always something on and then different random expenses like car trouble etc and there are so many weddings etc which are set to continue basically until October so the whole 9 months, but determined to try and cut my cloth and cut back! I wanted to cancel our holiday in July but dp put his foot down and said we work hard and we deserve it and I know he's right! Also you will be a wonderful mum, you've already been so confused and caring and made sacrifices for a little person you haven't even met yet, that sounds like a wonderful mummy to me!
laura I actually spent an hour looking at a door catalogue the last day, how anyone makes a decision on these things is beyond me!
jupiter you couldn't be selfish if you tried you are too lovely, it's natural to be concerned and your friend will be so glad to have u supporting her on her possibly difficult journey!
parsnips I was watching dragons den when you said that and started giggling at the thought of someone trying to get investment for a poop in the post service I've officially lost it 😂 😂 😂
mummy Fx for you this cycle, time has flown!

Flowerpot15 · 06/03/2017 19:51

Thank you Parsnips. I work in a lab so not much bothers me Wink x

HopefullyDothButterNoParsnips · 06/03/2017 19:37

Welcome flowerpot - you're in the right place. Expect lube and/or poo to be whizzing it's way to you in the post. It's all part of the service here!

Hi Ladies, new here so not sure if this is the right post to introduce myself on or really what the difference is between threads. But anyway, age 32 (keep thinking I'm 31 for some reason Confused) TTC # 2. Not starting until May/June due to work stress but after an oops moment this month which resulted in a BFN I've got the bug. Going to chart the next 2 months to figure out the lie of the land. Looking forward to reading all your stories xx

Seven0fNine · 06/03/2017 18:47

Evening guys,

Confused I am the same with far too much on a credit card (or 3!) Just make sure you've got them all on the 0% interest if you can. The minimum repayment on MBNA ones is less than some of the others too so a good way to keep the payments down if you're only doing the minimum whilst on mat leave, etc. (I sound like I know what I'm talking about...bloody love Martin Lewis!!)
I'll hopefully have paid mine off by the time I'm 30 but it's taking forever and I definitely want a baby before then.

Aww Mummy - you never know, your body might surprise you. How is the back today?

Jupiter - no it doesn't, you're right to be anxious. But don't worry my love xx all will be well with Jupiters tubes :)

Happy Monday everyone. Just got home. Day 1 of the new diet going well - I'm so full! haha!! But my tonsils are sooo sore - need to do silent teaching tomorrow.

buzzmoon · 06/03/2017 18:43

Get humping mummy!!

buzzmoon · 06/03/2017 18:42

Evening all! Sorry had a mental day!
Happy to poo in the post parsnips 😂
laura house renovations are fun! :) although stressful hehe I'd love a new door, mine is awful :(
confused it's so normal to be worried but you have nothing to worry about! You have been so kind and caring just on this thread! Including posting lube!! Your motherly instincts are clear and I guarantee you're going to be an amazing mum ❤️❤️ as for money, that's a worry for everyone I think regardless of how much you make or how much debt you have, there are always ways around it and I'm sure you'll be fine - some great advice from people here about credit cards, but please don't stress yourself out. Bubble needs you to not worry :)
red such a good idea about relaxing- don't think I'll be able to! I especially with Ovia and all her bloody comments! I'm so excited to start trying in May too. Just need to shift this weight and going for a carvery right now is not going to help!! I'm so hungry though and have had such a busy day. Back on the diet tomorrow!!

Tigger83 · 06/03/2017 18:42

Buy not but lol

Tigger83 · 06/03/2017 18:41

Confused exactly same boat had to but sbx out of my house and he left me up to my ears in it, been paying them off for 2 years now. Still got a lot to pay off but trying to clear as much as I can. I regularly have melt downs about it but can only do what I can do!

xlaura · 06/03/2017 18:36

Mine aren't small amount either confused I've got £1400 on one and then I'm gonna go and put another £1500 on it on my birthday when honeymoon is due. It is what it is..even if you could get it down by a fair it it all helps doesn't it. Just my personal opinion, you do what works best for you girl 🙌🏼 credit cards are great until you wanna clear them off prior to an important event. You'll get there eventually tho Hun, just slight lifestyle adjustments and it'll all click into place. I used to pay £375 a month off mine a month just before xmas as I had another one that was from when I went abit mad shopping in America but you eventually get there. Money can always be earned at the end of day, you haven't always got the time and the memories can't always be made. Do it, enjoy every moment you can because it soon flies by that's for sure.

Mummyme87 · 06/03/2017 18:35

confused and dancing I'll definitely be dtd tonight regardless how tired we both are 😂 I'm just having a negative feeling month

DancingUnicorn · 06/03/2017 18:33

Confused, www.citizensadvice.org.uk/about-us/how-we-provide-advice/advice/search-for-your-local-citizens-advice/ this may be some use....

DancingUnicorn · 06/03/2017 18:26

Confused is there someone you can talk to about planning and stuff? Maybe options to transfer to a card without interest on an offer? I'm sure it must be really stressful, but you will cope! 💐

DancingUnicorn · 06/03/2017 18:22

Confused I think it's natural to have all those thoughts. I had a similar breakdown last week where I just didn't think I could do any of it. Exhaustion + hormones makes everything seem extra intense too. Hopefully things will seem brighter. Your little one is going to be so loved, and that's really the most important thing!

Mummy I thought you got a day or two after a positive? Not necessarily out! 💐

confusedat23 · 06/03/2017 18:21

Well the problem is they arnt a small amount... when i left my dickhead ex with the house i had to fully furnish a flat on one... then i put some of the wedding stuff on another etc etc... there is no way i could clear it all before the time bubbles arrives! Blush... i usually just pay about £150 a month off and just think of them like another bill but the guy at the bank was like its going to take you 5 years etc and now its playing on my mind!

Mummy can you dtd tonight? You will deffo not be out this month then!

Mummyme87 · 06/03/2017 18:09

I've done another OPK tonight and it was lighter than this morning.. I'm feeling out this month already 😔

xlaura · 06/03/2017 17:46

Confused sorry to hear about your traumatic weekend. It's only natural to worry because you want the best for your little bundle of joy! I think 95% of people have credit cards with balances on..me being one of them. I'm trying my hardest to get them down..having put a lot of bits n bobs on there for the wedding and then I would've just got it cleared up and then have the honeymoon back on it but I'm hoping to get a little cash from the guests that can help go towards it 🤞🏼 I personally would clear them and start afresh (it's one less bill you've got overshadowing you) and just save like mad with the extra dosh you've got every month and you'll soon accumulate a good baby fund again. Have you been having a better day today?

HbH04 · 06/03/2017 17:14

Oh god... pop Obviously Blush

HopefullyDothButterNoParsnips · 06/03/2017 16:01

Thanks hB - my DH is in London in a couple of weeks so he's going to pick some FRER for me if this isn't our month. It's grand I just need to be patient. Only a few days to go now!

Redpony1 · 06/03/2017 15:57

Sorry you feel crappy confused, you will be a great mum!

Tigger83 · 06/03/2017 15:51

Confused if it's any conciliation I'm feeling the same about money, trying desperately to pay my cards off I'll be 2/3rds or more of the way there when bubba arrives but it massively stresses me out.

confusedat23 · 06/03/2017 15:46

Ahahahs poo some FRER in the post Wink i cannot stop laughing!! 😂😂😂😂😂

Thank you all so much for your kind words ladies! I cannot blame my mum she had undiagnosed depression for years and so the bad memories always cloud the good... i do also have a good baby fund but have credit cards etc that i should have really paid off first that would have made the whole thing seem better!!... i could use the baby fund to pay them but then i just think that i'm better off having cash in my pocket instead of needing to borrow for the big stuff like pram and crib etc and barely pay the bills whilst on mat pay!

HbH04 · 06/03/2017 15:27

Aw sorry about your friend jupiter ... & you absolutely don't sound selfish, you're lovely, supportive & we're lucky to have you on the thread getting us through the ups and downs!

Hope your DH talked you down confused You can either get good examples from how you were raised, or if you had issues, you can say 'I'm not going to do that when i have kids' You'll be amazing! Regarding money, i think people just survive on what they have, of course you always need more but you'll be fine! I remember you saying you'd saved a brilliant baby fund! I have been re-doing some bills this month and trying to make some savings!

Oooh is that an early ov for you mummy ? Hope mine stays put for now, DH away for two days on a fishing trip!! Have DTD most days so far but hopefully ov more like end of the week/weekend.

Sorry for the BFNs parsnips Is there anyone in the UK that knows youre TTC who can poo some FRERs in the post!!
