Hmm I'd love a trip advisor for maternity wards buzz may be worth checking google reviews??

Sorry all the preggos are feeling so shitty! You are making me worried about a potential BFP before all my plane journeys 😩 hope the sickness/tiredness passes soon!

I had a core needle biopsy on my breast once for a lump .. (it was fine). DH was sweating, nearly fainted and had to undo his tie... I was like cmon I need to you hold my hand.. he was struggling 😂

Penguin27 · 21/03/2017 13:25

Sad sorry you're still feeling so rubbish confused Flowers just eat what you can manage and try not to stress, it will pass.

I'm excited for you Tigger, hope tomorrow all goes well!

buzzmoon · 21/03/2017 13:18

Midwife just called back! She's coming round this Saturday! We have to decide which hospital we want to go to before then, have a choice of 3 🤔 no idea! Is there a trip advisor for maternity wards??

Redpony1 · 21/03/2017 12:55

Hope everyone starts feeling better soon! Feeling poopy is not nice at all.

Excited that booking in appointments are starting! I would defo take my DP - i'd want him on the whole journey. Plus i pass out without fail when i have injections so would need him for those appointments haha!

buzzmoon · 21/03/2017 12:29

Oh gosh everyone's feeling shite! Let's all eat chocolate and carbs and just avoid vomming everywhere! Flowers to everyone.

I'm also feeling shit and tired and snapping at everyone including my boss oops! And I literally started crying because I missed a call on my phone which could have been the midwife- how pathetic is that 😂

Tigger83 · 21/03/2017 11:59

Hello all! Booking in appointment for me tomorrow they seem to be on the ball. I'm starving all the time only thing that seems to
ease my constant nausea. I'm much worse at night hb sympathise with crying in bed!!
Dancing that length of time without weeing sounds worrying think you should possibly get checked maybe you have a uti? My patience is non existent at the min feeling like I'm being a complete cow to my oh he tells me I'm not but I'm not so sure. I came home from work an hour early yesterday as I just felt so exhausted and rough. Today i have to travel around doing visits for my job and I reckon I'm prob doing about 150 miles which is just shattering. Hope you're all having a happy Tuesday will catch up more later Smile

MrsC2017 · 21/03/2017 11:51

Hi girls confused go for it, if you are hungry you're hungry! That was me last week, a bottomless pit! Can't be helped!
jupiter that sounds lovely enjoy! Will you find it hard to keep your secret with all the babies around ?
grumpy I actually despise how much my working life has been affected by being a mother, I'm more educated than DH and do a more challenging job yet he is paid more! Drives me mad!
orange you deserve the creme eggs, calories don't count when AB is in town!!
wiggly you are so right, we all neglect ourselves and if we don't take care of ourselves nobody else will, we put so much pressure on and it's good to be kind to yourself and let some of it go!
dancing you are not pathetic, in fact I don't know how u are coping with this for so long, take some time for yourself, it's no joke, feeling sick constantly is mentally as well as physically exhausted. Also I'm finding sparkling water helping so might help if you need more fluids. Also I feel worse at night.... Not sure why but I actually shed tears in bed last night because I felt so shit. Honestly DH is an absolute angel he's being so kind to me and all I'm doing is moaning and sleeping! All I have eaten today is a ginger nut biscuit and a rice cake, having a plain bread roll now for lunch. I'm feeling marginally better than yesterday so maybe eating less is helping me despite everything I read telling me that eating more helps with nausea!

DancingUnicorn · 21/03/2017 11:38

Confused I'm trying to drink, but struggling. I had three big glasses yesterday though and sorbet, which is mostly water! And it's definitely not like me to not go more regularly!! I will definitely mention it on Sunday. I'm a bit jealous of your munchies too! I'm not even feeling that sick anymore (which is scary) but can hardly eat anything! But I've napped loads this morning and hoping that will help. Must be less moany!

Oh, are you rhesus negative? They are more likely to want to know your dh blood type if you are I think as you need injections later on if baby might be positive. I'm also taking mine, mostly for moral support though! I'm the one likely to pass out if they want my blood!! (Which I'm sure they do)

confusedat23 · 21/03/2017 09:48

Ok so confession time... ive stuffed 2 grab bags of quavers half a big bag of magic stars and 2 slices of toast and i'm still so hungry i could chew my hand off!!... i've got 3 peices of fruit to eat to see if they satisfy my food needs but i'm sure they wont... all i want is McDonalds chips 😳 Lol

Hmmm Dancing that is a really long time to be without a wee even if not pregnant! How much are you drinking? Because i'm desk bound for several hours at a time i stock up with lots and lots of drinks for me to work my way through and a big bottle of water... i couldn't imagine waiting that long but i have to wee before bed (OCD type thing lol). Although I would say no matter how much I drink my wee is still really strong (sorry if tmi) but i'm going to get the midwife to check it at booking in.

Jupiter my booking appointment is next Monday... i have decided to take DH with me as i won't be able to answer all the questions regarding his familys health... also he was a twin so i am not sure if that needs to be mentioned. The only thing worrying me is if they need to check his blood to see what blood type he is as he wont want to do it 😕 He is a total hospitalphobe!

DancingUnicorn · 21/03/2017 09:36

Still exciting Jupiter! Hope you have a lovely couple of days! Hope you don't find it too hard keeping your amazing secret! :)

Redpony1 · 21/03/2017 09:31

Mmmmmmm Garlic Bread Grin

HeyJupiter · 21/03/2017 09:30

Oh no sorry, still awaiting new baby (sister is technically due tomorrow!!) but seeing her and 2yr old niece tomorrow before everything kicks off :)

HbH04 · 21/03/2017 09:20

Ah is your niece the new baby jupiter or are we still waiting on that one?!

DancingUnicorn · 21/03/2017 09:20

Thanks everyone for the kind words. I'm still feeling dreadful, so allowing myself a full day off to hopefully recover. :( Feeling sorry for myself, but grumpy is right 'this too shall pass' which has been my mantra through many many years of shit.

Jupiter is it your brand new baby niece you see tomorrow?! How exciting!!

Confused I think I am probably dehydrated, as (tmi) yesterday weed at lunch time and then not again at all until this morning. :s Im trying to drink more today.

HeyJupiter · 21/03/2017 09:02

Dancing how are you feeling today? Sorry you were having such a rubbish day yesterday :( I can’t imagine how difficult it must be and the waiting is unbearable Flowers

Hb love the “say no more” mantra. I definitely need that one. My biggest realisation was that whenever I say no to something I don’t have to back it up with apologies or reasons. It’s okay to just say no sometimes.

seven I’m fine thank you :) I’m definitely a bit emotional most of of the time too so the next 8 months could be interesting!

buzz that’s fab news about your DH! You and Keith must be very pleased. Garlic flatbreads all round Grin

orange you totally needed the mini eggs yesterday (it’s a requirement of AB!) Hope you’re feeling a bit better today. DH Is going to post your lube over the next couple of days :)

confused how are you lovely? When is your booking in appointment? Can’t wait to hear all about it.

Couple of days off this end which is lovely.. swimming and seeing best friends new baby today and then tomorrow off to see my niece. It’s super sunny here too which helps. Have a lovely Tuesday everyone.

Penguin27 · 21/03/2017 07:28

Morning all!

Sorry that you're feeling so rubbish dancing Flowers Listen to confused's kind words and go easy on yourself!

confusedat23 · 21/03/2017 06:03

I'm with Grumpy I think its rediculous how much Women are judged in the workplace in general regardless of if we have children or not. But tbh Grumpy you have beaten the odds for someone who accidently got pregnant at 18 amd had to raise a DD whilst climbing high in the career ladder! This shows how strong you are and that even if you slip a bit having another DC you will be flying high again as soon as you get your chance!

Dancing how are you feeling today Love?... I completely understand and you are not Pathetic! These first weeks are so hard energy wise! We are weeing 3-4 times a night, the imsomnia is ridiculous, still working hard at work and our bodies are working a million times harder! I can't even cut up veg for dinner i'm so weak and i used to be such a strong person. Just think we are reaching the end of the 1st trimester in the next few weeks... if you need to stuff yourself with carbs to stay awake you go grab that cake! Also don't worry about your booking in this Sunday everything will be fine and it will be so exciting to get your notes!

TheGrumpySquirrel · 21/03/2017 05:53

Orange yeah I follow them on FB! I love it, if you can't laugh you'll cry eh

orangefolly · 20/03/2017 22:49

Evening everyone. I had a really healthy lunch and then blew it by scarfing down a load of mini eggs. I blame AB! Felling totally horrid and Mondayish today Sad

wiggley a great resolution!

buzz exciting about DP job! And Keith is the funniest bump name I've heard! Grin

grumpy I'm with you. Have you seen @manwhohasitall on twitter? parody account of how ridiculous society still is to women. Hope your work end up being decent to you over mat leave.

dancing hope you feel better

HbH04 · 20/03/2017 21:48

Me & Keith totally have the same taste!!!! 👌🏽

TheGrumpySquirrel · 20/03/2017 21:40

Buzz Keith is hilarious.. and carbs are heaven!

Seven I know the feeling, enjoy the peace and quiet though! Maybe watch a nice film?

TheGrumpySquirrel · 20/03/2017 21:38

Thank you ladies for your kind words and much needed Perspective! It's really ridiculous actually, that you can "have it all" - a (willing if not yet actual) SAH husband, a sodding Life PA, a great work ethic, but you STILL get judged negatively as a woman, it's so unfair I could cry! But I won't because work is not All Of Life.

Hb I think I would be a great Life PA, I'm so organised! Maybe I need to go into business!
Although I think mine had a bit of a shock last week, she's used to opening posh people's post while drinking tea, and I got her to de-clutter and reorganise DD's room (totally full of the usual pre teen crap) 😁

Dancing so sorry you are feeling rough, just think "this too shall pass" and be kind to yourself! Better to accept the tiredness and rest xx

buzzmoon · 20/03/2017 21:33

Glad you're feeling better hb

buzzmoon · 20/03/2017 21:33

Those resolutions are great 👌🏽 I wish I could do that.
dancing so sorry you're feeling so bad :( really hope you get a good nights sleep and feel better in the morning!

seven enjoy the peace, he'll be back before you know it and you'll just be annoyed that he's left the boxers on the floor 😂

My DP came home with some good news! He's been offered a 'chat' after an interview he had last week! Not definite new job but promising!! Made me cry of course as has literally every single thing today 😂😂 and little Keith demanded garlic flatbread with his pasta bake, and I just couldn't say no. Going to be one of those pushover parents for sure, especially for the next 9 months whilst it involves carbs. 🤤

Seven0fNine · 20/03/2017 20:58

Oooh missed posts!

Dancing! Sending lots of love xxx hope you are feeling better soon. Go get a good night's sleep and you will feel better tomorrow I am sure xxx

Hb here here on the no! It's the way forward! Looking forward to your testing!!
