mummy hope you had a better night!!

grumpy it must be a really hard decision. Knowing you're about to ovulate must make it so tempting to just go for it! Plus hormonally your body is telling you too.. what does your DH think? I think your weekend plans sound great, enjoy.

Apart from testing with DH tomorrow I have very little in the way of plans. I think I will be lounging mainly.. my sister is due to give birth any minute so we're all on standby by the phone!

orange how are you? Any sign of AF?

TheGrumpySquirrel · 17/03/2017 22:13

Glad you are feeling better mummy hope you feel "detoxed" at least?! Get some good rest tonight x

Mummyme87 · 17/03/2017 22:07

Feeling better this evening. No vomit since lunch time and no diarrhoea since about 4.. hoping this is the end of it. Stomach a bit delicate. But not ate anything all day so hoping it's recovering.

TheGrumpySquirrel · 17/03/2017 21:40

Hey ladies, happy weekend!

Jupiter yes I'm looking forward to being more in the know about when O day actually is!

We DTD yesterday and I'm on the fence about avoiding it now or just doing whatever we feel like (this month would be bad timing for a BFP with all my travel coming up and a Dec baby meaning I'd be off over annual pay review).

MrsC that sounds like a very tiring (but fun) day. Nothing like a nice nap by the fire after being out in the rain!

I finally got to yoga tonight after a big break, it was so nice. Going again tomorrow and also getting my monthly pedicure. DD is at her dad and it's a nice relaxing weekend for me, DH is out with friends Saturday night but I don't mind - I like a bit of peace and quiet occasionally! Might watch a film with my cats! It's a glam life.. What's everyone else up to?

HeyJupiter · 17/03/2017 20:19

grumpy interesting to see how the CB monitor progresses over next few days. Your oestrogen must still be rising to get your high readings! Ovulation should be just around the corner.

HeyJupiter · 17/03/2017 20:18

Thanks Dancing, will make an appointment next week :) Can’t wait for you to have your scan!!

Sorry for bfn tessa, good luck again for tomorrow though!

orange glad you’re feeling okay, last month I was testing most days in the run up to my AF and it let me down gently. Not that you’re out of the race yet - any sign of AF?

mummy how are you feeling? Hope it’s all calmed down a bit.

seven it will work out whatever happens - this is such a good first step for your DH though :)

Wow Tigger that is amazing - actually seeing your body change now must feel mad (in a good way). Next few weeks sound very exciting. Looking forward to hearing how your midwife appointment goes.

MrsC what a day! Did you DS have a good time? Glad you’ve caught up on some rest now. I’m going to fall into bed soon - exhausted, but not sure I can even blame pregnancy yet..

MrsC2017 · 17/03/2017 19:16

Hi girls,
mummy you poor thing, I hope it passes soon and you def still have time for a BFP!
tigger aww so exciting! So exciting to tell people too!
seven I'm thrilled for you and mr7, such a good boost for him I'm sure! Big congratulations to him!
orange glad your feeling OK about things, I know the frustration of waiting for a random late AF when you want to get on with things!
tessa sorry for BFN today lovely xx
DS was in the parade today so we went in and got absolutely drowned, the weather couldn't have been worse! Rained constantly for the whole day! Also the nausea and exhaustion has ramped up today, after drying out I slept on the sofa in front of the fire for the entire day, it was bliss! Now I want to eat all around me again!

Penguin27 · 17/03/2017 15:40

Sorry for the bfn tessa SadFlowers

tessapop · 17/03/2017 10:52

Hi @Mummyme87 @Penguin27 @TheGrumpySquirrel I tested yesterday afternoon with a frer (was supposed to wait but didn't) and it was BFN, I've got another frer ready but am going to wait until Saturday morning I think, I reckon af is due Sunday! It really is like our bodies are playing mind games, with all the developments in technology it's mad that we have to wait what feels like forever to find out isn't it? If it's a BFN this month at least I'll know not to trust any symptoms next time hah

HbH04 · 17/03/2017 10:46

Oh mummy it sounds horrendous Shock Hope it's only super short... rest up today x

Really pleased life is moving forward for your OH seven I'm sure you'll manage fertile week when it comes... an hour is doable for a little trip for either if you!

Sorry fOr BFNs

Mummyme87 · 17/03/2017 10:24

Called in sick for work tomorrow. havent vomited for an hour or two but coming out the other end 😩 Feel like I need to down loads of water but I know it will just come back up.
Dropped the boy off at the childminder and picked up some FRER on the way home.
Have you tested today tessa?

Exciting to hear midwife appt and Nuchal scans being booked in 😃

Penguin27 · 17/03/2017 09:20

I love hearing about all our preggos Grin so exciting for all of you!

Tessa, how did your test go?

Tigger83 · 17/03/2017 09:06

We told the inlaws last night and they were pleased for us!

Since we had the early scan my oh is now so excited goodness knows what he's going to be like after the 12 week scan lol.

Sickness and exhaustion is still there but I'm managing it a bit better now. I have more acne than I've ever had lol

I'm getting to the point where I'm starting to believe it now! First midwife appointment is next week and scan on the 19th April. The bit between my hip bones is starting to fill out a little bit now which feels exciting rather than just being bloated(which I still am!)

Good luck to everyone who is testing this weekend. Mummy I'm sorry you're feeling rubbish

DancingUnicorn · 17/03/2017 08:53

Seven I'm still waiting for booking, which is a week Sunday, and my scan is two weeks today! Congrats to your DH!

Sorry about bfn orange. Still hope AF stays away for you!

Seven0fNine · 17/03/2017 08:02

Thanks girls. I'm so happy for him. I guess if things work out we could move closer eventually as we are only renting and I could have the same commute just from the opposite direction which would take 40 mins off the journey time for him. Exciting times tho. At least my mum is here waking me up with a cuppa 😂 not used to such service!

Sorry about the bfn and sickness mummy. Hope you feel better soon.

Do you have a scan coming up soon Dancing? Or still waiting for booking in? I suppose the longer the wait now, the less longer the wait before the 20 week one. Annoying tho!

Confused, your body is just so good at being preggers you don't need symptoms. And I'm sure tiredness is the main thing in the first trimester anyway so try not to worry my love. Positive thoughts xxxx

TheGrumpySquirrel · 17/03/2017 07:59

Tessa are you testing today as well?

Sorry to hear you aren't feeling well mummy Brew

Well DH and I threw caution to the wind and DTD as normal last night oops - however still not in FW according to Ovia (CBFM says High but I don't know if it got confused because I haven't had a Low yet and I started testing CD10.

CD13 today and the fourth day of High readings in a row. OPK still faint too. I'm intrigued to see what happens over the next few days!

Mummyme87 · 17/03/2017 07:56

Can't stop vomiting 😰 It could easily be too early for me testing as I'm going with ovulation being CD13 which is early for me... I didn't really get ovulation signs this cycle apart from EWCM and positive OPKs.
tessa boob pains are a good sign! I had boob pain yesterday FX

Penguin27 · 17/03/2017 07:40

Whoops posted too soon... I'm sure you'll adjust, and may even appreciate some time apart - absence makes the heart grow fonder and all that

Penguin27 · 17/03/2017 07:39

Morning ladies Smile

Sorry you're not well mummy and for the bfn Flowers

Seven that's such great news, congratulations to your DH! I can understand you're anxious about him being away for so long, but I'm sure you'll adjee

orangefolly · 17/03/2017 07:39

Morning everyone. Oh no mummy! Hope you feel better. Definitely still hope on the testing front too.

AF still hasn't arrived for me, but got another BFN this morning so I am just going to assume unexplained late period and try not to stress about it today. Stupid waiting game!! I think I got a lot of my disappointment out with the first BFN, so feeling okay today.

tessapop · 17/03/2017 07:35

Hope you feel better @Mummyme87 it might be too early still?

Started having v painful shooting pains in one boob at a time this morning, I thought something had stabbed me! Driving myself mad I think haha!

DancingUnicorn · 17/03/2017 07:34

It depends on the area. It takes me two weeks to get a gp appointment and I was impatient, and I can self refer to my local midwifery services online. So I did that! Still not actually seen a medical professional since my bfp! I think it's more common to get a gp appt though and they will refer you. (I would do it soon, as services are busy ATM and some people having left it a while are finding they're having to wait for scans etc)

HeyJupiter · 17/03/2017 07:24

Oh mummy you poor thing! So sorry you're feeling ill. Yes, concentrate on getting better and test in a few days Flowers

Yes, totally agree Dancing with what you're saying. I think private scans have the potential to make people over anxious. Sort of need to let nature take it's course I guess. Although saying that, if anxiety is high anyway I can see why people do it!

So hopefully I'll get another BFP on Sunday. What happens next? Do I need to make a GP appointment or just call the surgery and let them know? :)

DancingUnicorn · 17/03/2017 07:21

Oh no mummy! So sorry you're ill, and sorry for bfn! Hope you feel better soon.

The waiting is hard Jupiter. I've managed to hold off getting a private scan, mainly because my oh is very 'what will be will be' and having a scan won't control it. Otherwise I think I would have. I'd suggest, if you are going to, maybe waiting till after 8 weeks.

Good luck orange and tessa!

Mummyme87 · 17/03/2017 07:15

Urghh 🤢 Have been up with D & V since 4am. Don't know if it was the curry last night or the big that's going round.

I did just do a test which was BFN not with fmu as I had a wee at 4am and I used an IC. Didn't expect to see anything. Will try and get hold of a FRER for over the weekend.

Fab news seven on DH getting a job!!
