Thank you for the positive words Bella xxxx.

SalemTheTeenageWitch · 06/03/2017 20:17

Charley that is strangely reassuring to know that you're in the same position. I am sending DH off to the doctors and I have told him to tell the Doctor it has been a year. If they don't do anything, I have found a fertility clinic in Birmingham that does SA for £95.
You are very welcome rose. When are you having the Hycosy test?

BellaMoon · 06/03/2017 20:16

@SalemTheTeenageWitch awww chic, your thoughts are perfectly understandable but getting upset or worrying will only cause you stress that you don't need just now. you're now 11dpo, you could be spotting due to implantation bleed, please try to relax tonight. get some big hugs off your DH. xx

Roseandbee · 06/03/2017 20:13

Hi to all teh new joiners:)
and hi again EMHW:)

Salem thanks for doing the list, looks like its getting busy now so fingers crossed for more BFPs

Rainbow are you sure you heard correctly? i've had my first fertility referral (only had to wait a few weeks but that will depend on you area, but my doc said a few months and it turned out to be weeks)
You can have the smears, blood tests and transvaginal (dildo cam) exams even if you are pregnant and don't know it. The only test so far i've been told to make sure i'm not pregnant for is the Hycosy (where they inject die into your tubes to make sure they are clear) and basically the doctor said, to ring up on the first day of my period and book it in for day 10 of my cycle, and to make sure we don't have unprotected dtd just in that cycle until after the test, but after the test is fine and could lead to pregnancy so id not even be missing my fertile window that month as i don't usually ovulate till after day 13.

Charley2016 · 06/03/2017 20:12

Salem I found out a few months but that my DH had one that was undescended and he didn't get an op until he was 5 or 6. I didn't think the doctor would do anything until it had been a year though. I got quite freaked out after googling too! Might get him to try just going to the docs now too.

SalemTheTeenageWitch · 06/03/2017 20:07

Bella I am going to get some this cycle. I hope it works.

I am getting myself upset now because DH had an operation when he was 1-2yrs old to correct an undescended testicle. This could possibly be the reason for our lack of BFPs. His surgeon told his Mum it wouldn't cause fertility problems. Google says it could do. I am sending him off to the Doctors on Wednesday to ask for sperm analysis. What if it's bad and he has a low sperm count or worse still, no sperm :(

BellaMoon · 06/03/2017 19:58

@SalemTheTeenageWitch i started RLT yesterday, 1 in the morn and another after work (im cd11). it does something (feck knows if i can remember) to the uterus that makes implantation more likely. i googled it and it appears safe throughout TTC and pregnancy, i think it's dismissed as a myth for inducing labour but i'll stop if AF shows at the end of the month and only start again at cd10.

when our 2 upduffers (eeeek how exciting saying that) gave us the rundown of what they did this cycle i noticed @Dollydaydream2829 mentioned she'd taken RLT so i'm giving that ago. i'm also doing SMEP, conception vitamins for DH and I & preseed this month. feck the fecking feckers that look at a willy and become pregnant 😫

@Rainbowsockstoday i'd never advise someone ignore their GP so don't get me wrong, if it makes sense then so be it but i doubt very much i'd be heeding that advice either! you could be due to give birth before an appointment came through by their timeline!

pea and ham soup made, leaky sink fixed, salad prepped for tomorrow, call the midwife on and i'm having some me time! full house stinks of paint which is giving me a right sore head of course it's not a delayed hangover!

xx

Charley2016 · 06/03/2017 19:56

Sorry TMI! Think I'm clutching at straws but just out the bath and noticed my chest is practically blue 😂... I normally do have one quite obvious vein on my right breast but just realised they're all over and underneath too which I've never had before....

CakesALot · 06/03/2017 19:41

Welcome to the newbies by the way! The more the merrier!

SalemTheTeenageWitch · 06/03/2017 19:41

All of my fingers and toes crossed for you Charley.
I am 11DPO. Which I suppose it better than the 9DPO I began spotting at last month. Boobs are so sore, this normally is not a symptom of mine, but I this really is only cycle 4, I've only been off the pill since mid October, so what do I even expect?!

Trying to research TTC stories online and most are like 'oh yes, well we conceived the first month of trying la la la...'. I do apologise, I am feeling bitter today.

CakesALot · 06/03/2017 19:39

How many messages?! I've only been away for the afternoon!! Will try and catch up properly later

bella im a big SW fan too. Lost 2 stone last year. Stopped going to group when I started TTC again as I'm not too concerned about my weight now but we still have all the recipes and love them. Definitely put me off processed food and encouraged my fruit and veg intake.

Eurgh the gym!! I love yoga which I get to when I can. And a walk everywhere over driving if I can. And that's about it!

Cd13 here. Dtd done. Lots of ewcm today, even DH noticed! And I've had the odd twinge so think ov is imminent. Away tomorrow night so hoping I have a good stash of Doreen's to cover it!

AmandaP86x · 06/03/2017 19:13

Haha omg I wear gym clothes every single place I go 😂😂😭😂

EMHW123 · 06/03/2017 18:56

To be fair I really feel amazing after going to the gym it's the getting there that's hard.... I've a cheek I have one where I live! Can find myself getting my kit on then sitting watching reruns of masterchef on the sofa while eating crisps..... they say it's the thought that counts! If it was I'd be a size 8! 😂😂

I'll go tomorrow..... 🙈

AmandaP86x · 06/03/2017 18:29

Been trying since basically. Was never really careful. But had Evac at end of October then AF didn't arrive until start December and lasted 14 days Blush so I think my cycles r probably just getting back into the swing of it.

I'm feeling a bit ratty tonight which could be a sign of af 😭😭😭😭

Can't even be bothered with the gym honestly! Feel so lazy eeeek. Dayshift tomorrow so going to do some meal
Prep and I have my personal trainer on Wednesday so I'm sure she will kick my butt then onto 2 nightshifts.

I'm now waiting outside Morrisons considering a first response test could really make or break my day lolol!!!!!!

Charley2016 · 06/03/2017 18:12

Oh Salem I do hope it's not AF! How many DPO does that make this month? I'm the same, a friend is pregnant from apparently being sick for two days on the pill and didn't want a baby! So annoying how some take so little effort while we all do so much.

Anna haven't tested yet. I FRERs are staring at me while I lay in the bath but only tested last night so doubt it would be any different! I've heard of loads of people having totally difference symptoms and some with everything in one pregnancy and then nothing in the other so I wouldn't count yourself out hun.

Sophsta · 06/03/2017 18:08

Just quickly dropping by! I'm trying to lose weight with weightwatchers now. Lost it for my wedding in August but put a stone back on Blush! Been upping my gym visits this week from zero and just about to head off my horse riding lesson. Better enjoy them whilst I still can!

Charley2016 · 06/03/2017 18:07

Haha I genuinely thought I would fall pregnant straight after the wedding which would give me all the motivation to nourish bump properly and the morning sickness would kick in 😂 dh asked about joining the gym at the weekend but I genuinely don't think I could last 5 mins!!

SalemTheTeenageWitch · 06/03/2017 18:07

Still unsure if it is AF or not, but I presume it is. Time for a plan of action.
I saw some raspberry leaf tablets in Holland and Barrett. Is it worth buying these? If so, what do they do?

Rhetorical question but how is it that someone I know is upduffed despite not trying because it was a bloody one night stand yet my DH and I are not upduffed arghhhh!!!!

Anna2006 · 06/03/2017 18:07

@Amanda How many cycles have you been trying for since mc? Sucks doesn't it, I had a mc at 13 weeks in October. It was a blighted ovum. We're in cycle 4 since. Didn't try first cycle as they tell you to wait for AF. So unprotected sex for 5 cycles but only TTC for 4. sigh

I had sore boobs last pregnancy at 9DPO I'm sure I did. 8DPO and no sign of any sore boobness. If it don't get sore boobs I instantly will think I'm out. Do you ladies genuinely think another pregnancy can have totally different symptoms. I.e. I could get no sore boobs at all but be pregnant??? Has anyone been pregnant twice and has diff symptoms?

I know people say every pregnancy is diffferent. But I just feel like I'd get sore boobs as they grew huge last time 😞😞

Charley have you caved and tested again?

Salem no update from you? I'm hoping your spotting has stopped and aunt flow has not arrived in town!

AmandaP86x · 06/03/2017 17:48

I kno it's so hard to fall off the positive wagon I always say ok if I'm not PG at least I can have a drink at this event or blah blah try and find a positive somewhere between a mini meltdown

I was over seeing my work mate today and her new baby he's 3.5months she has had umpteen MC & he was her 2nd round IVF. So very happy for her & she totally gets how I'm feeling too so that is nice.

Currently having a cuppa and some pineapple lol. Noticed some white creamy CM but not sure if this is common for me at this time in cycle. Feel so so bloated though which is prob common for AF 😞😞😞😞

Same with losing weight keep thinking aw I might be preg so won't need to massively bother about weight lol however sitting in my gym gear just going to head up 😞

EMHW123 · 06/03/2017 17:43

I'm just so fed up paying nearly a hundred quid a month for a gym membership and still being a chub! I mean I've paid out a fortune, what do they want me to do?! Like actually go?! Jeeze!

Maybe morning sickness is our answer?! 😆

On a more serious note rainbow I'd do the same, GP sounds like a chump 😘

Charley2016 · 06/03/2017 17:36

Hmm why does googling any symptoms just end up in more confusion? There always seems to be the same amount of people who say it's a symptom as say it wasn't!

I'm totally with you girls on the wanting to lose weight! Lost a load for my wedding and have put on 3 bloody stone since then. Really want to lose some weight but I just can't bring myself to get back on the diet. I seem to do ok during the week and then fall dramatically at the weekend! Carbs, takeaways and alcohol are the devil. I did a pretty much dry February and still put on weight haha!

Rainbowsockstoday · 06/03/2017 17:34

@bella he said that whilst we are waiting for tests and appointments that include bloods, scans, X-rays, smears and cycle diary we need to use protection as a pregnancy will make the tests invalid. My DH said "bugger that! If we get pg then we don't need the tests." So we are keeping going in secret 😂 it's only going to be the dpo that an X-ray wouldn't be advised so if that appt comes through after ov then we will just have to postpone for a week! I know it's cheeky but we can't give up the mission for six months or more!

BellaMoon · 06/03/2017 17:20

@Rainbowsockstoday saayyyyy whaaatttt? your GP told you to use protection when you are clearly TTC - has the world fallen off its axis? did Trump set of a nuclear attack that's affected your GO first? is there a gas leak in your GP surgery? WTF kind of advice is that? #itsamadmadworld
