General observation but I'm amazed at how quickly I have started speaking fluent TTC language! Ha when I first lurked on these boards I was intimidated by all the acronyms and had no clue about cycle tracking or anything.....Anyone else??

Pibbee · 08/03/2017 15:11

Yes sorry about af ttc....

I have nothing to report! Sliiiiight tiny cramps going on so I reckon af on her way. No sign of the usual brown spotting (nice) that I usually get as a precursor. I don't wanna start symptom spotting in any case, and I know I'm not gonna test unless and until af is late so I'm still in the waiting game! Am 6dpo and CD22 so in any case af won't be here for a good few days - well 4 days if going by randomly shorter cycle last time, and early next week if going by normal cycle!

HoldTightPretendItsAPlan · 08/03/2017 14:50

Sorry about AF ttc Flowers

ttcnovice · 08/03/2017 13:24

Thanks for that Pibbee I'll have a look on Amazon (although I'm hoping I won't have to buy anymore after next cycle!).

Thank you nebula it really does help having all of the great support on this thread! Will you be getting the blood test results today? Fx for good news for you 🤞🏼.

nebula16 · 08/03/2017 13:17

Ttcnovice I'm so sorry about af, wishing you all the luck for your next cycle! Flowers

I did another hpt this morning and it was negative Hmm just waiting for my results from my blood test. Still so confused, 8 days late, it's crazy!

Pibbee · 08/03/2017 13:16

*I did, even.....

Pibbee · 08/03/2017 13:16

Hi all

The CB ones are cheaper on Amazon - u got a pack of 20 for 33 quid the other day

ttcnovice · 08/03/2017 13:12

Thanks Marie and Misty - going to allow myself today to be upset, and then get back to the positive thinking tomorrow! It's just awful thinking why isn't it happening for us Sad.

Marie I started off with Tesco OPKs which were a lot more reliable than the cheap one step ones for me personally. Then I got quite frustrated with having to interpret the line strengths so I use the Clearblue dual hormone ones now. They're about £26.99 usually but are on offer in Boots (or were when I saw them last week) for about £21 at the moment so not too bad. That's only for 10 sticks though so probably one month's supply.

passmethewine123 · 08/03/2017 12:37

Marie I buy the One Step ones online from Homehealth. Think they are fairly reliable, a lot of people seem to use them plus they are cheap and homehealth delivery is quick x

MistyBxx · 08/03/2017 12:19

Oh ttc gutted for you chick 😩 it's horrible isn't it but just think, in a few days, there will be a lovely new egg getting ready to pop out!!
marie I bought them from Poundland 😂 5 in a pack and one pack for £1!
Not saying they're the best out there, this month, they only gave me a squinter around when I was ovulating! There are more expensive ones but I'd say stick to cheap and use them as a guide along with how your body feels rather than gospel. But some on here have used smiley faces ones which sound more accurate!

Marie90 · 08/03/2017 12:15

Oh no TTC Flowers I'm really sorry she arrived for you.
What a bitch! X

ttcnovice · 08/03/2017 12:12

Full blown AF has arrived this morning, and with a vengeance too Sad.

Marie90 · 08/03/2017 12:00

Right ladies... I've had my two days of feeling upset about AF arriving, I'm now going to shake it off and get prepared for C2. First job is to get myself some OPKs.. those who have used them what ones did you go for and where did you buy them from?

Any other tips apart from getting my OH to jump me as often as humanely possible?! 😂

nebula16 · 07/03/2017 22:52

Hello ttcnovice, did af end up arriving? I hope cycle 5 is your lucky cycle! Good luck to you :)

Thank you, I'll post tomorrow morning when I do a hpt and when I get my bloods, fingers crossed Smile

ttcnovice · 07/03/2017 22:47

Hi nebula welcome! Sorry about your MC SadFlowers best of luck for your blood test results!

ttcnovice · 07/03/2017 22:45

Twisted I'm so sorry you were so upset Sad I know exactly what you mean, I said to DH after my BFN the other day I feel like a failure. I also need to lose weight so have been worrying the GP would dismiss me by just saying that too! Good news about your LP lengthening though, so at least there's that to come out of this month! Keep your chin up xxx

Marie and Misty - I had that small amount of spotting this morning and then nothing all day until a tiny bit just now. So I'm assuming I'll wake up in the morning with the full blown force of AF! It's strange because I never usually get spotting, just straight into AF itself, so that's a new one this cycle for me!

Pibbee you're not out until AF arrives remember x

nebula16 · 07/03/2017 22:26

I've just read through the whole tread almost, congratulations on your BFP! Grin

I'm 25 by the way :) I will do as you say and pinpoint where the pain actually is :) since I came in and have lay down I feel no pains at all, it seems to be when I'm up and about doing lots. Plus the back ache at the bottom jeeze! 😅 but lying down relaxes it. I will test again in the morning (fx) but I also had bloods done this afternoon so I'm hoping I get the results tomorrow from my doctors! Just can't believe I'm so late as even after my miscarriage af shows up the same time each month. How are you feeling MistyB? X

Pibbee · 07/03/2017 22:24

Evening all!

Nah I'm not really having any symptoms! I have a slight dull ache which I am thinking is incoming AF but that's about it. I don't wanna start over thinking it like I did last month! I wasn't on this thread then but I was convinced something exciting was happening but no, just stupid AF...

Tbh I've only done 2 cycles and I suspect with the first one I might have missed the important dates anyway!

MistyBxx · 07/03/2017 21:13

Nebula I had what I thought were period pains but very mild. But as they continued I realised they were in one specific area, right above my foof 😂 turns out they weren't period pains as it never arrived and I had bfp on cd31 16dpo! So really concentrate on how the pains feel, where they are and are they really af pains or 'something' down there that you're assuming is af? I also had quite sharp very low back pain but thought it was from my over-excited dancing in a kings of leon gig... 😂

nebula16 · 07/03/2017 21:02

A normal pregnancy*

nebula16 · 07/03/2017 20:55

Marie 90 thank you for replying! I'm going to test again in the morning but to be a week late (8days tomorrow) for me is not right! Having mild period pains for 2/3 weeks but no period, my period pains got a little more than "really" mild today (but not bad) just achy, but I did so much walking so I'm hoping that's why as I had period pains when I miscarried last time. Anyone had period pains and had abnormal pregnancy?

Mrsjkerry
Thanks for responding, well I'm hoping this back ache comes with good news not bad! As I've had period pains on and off (really mild) for a could of weeks now. Did you get anything like that? I just get scared due to the miscarriage 6 months ago. I have no women in the family to chat to so you ladies are my agony aunts!

Flatwhite31 · 07/03/2017 20:44

Evening ladies! It must be such a nerve wracking wait seeing if AF will appear or not! I'll be joining that club soon too. I'm still having my withdrawal bleed. It's much heavier than normal, which is good 'preparation' for my first real period I suppose! Sending baby vibes to you all. Xx

mrsjkerry · 07/03/2017 20:44

Hi nebula. My back did - and still does - kill me. That was one of the first things I thought. BFP a week ago now.

Twisted DTD everyday certainly worked for me this month 😄😄 my husband said "I told you so"!

MistyBxx · 07/03/2017 20:22

Hey girlies! Ah twisted I'm gutted af got you 😩 but sounds like you've got a fun month ahead with the oh! 😉
ttc any news on your spotting?
marie and pibbee any more symptoms?

Atypicalmother · 07/03/2017 20:15

Me again! AF due tomorrow but no sign yet. I stupidly tested yesterday but had a BFN and have convinced myself she's almost here. It would be nice if I got a BFP tomorrow, it would be three years to the day I found out I was PG with DD!

On the other hand, I've just volunteered to take part in a research study which involves participation before conception - They're testing me thursday...maybe I should just wait til then?
