Yeah the pressure is a major issue!!! I have never felt so stressed out in my whole life I don't think! I am so gonna try to chill the hell out next cycle. I'm not even gonna tell DP when the right days are.

OK so you missed 2 out of maybe 5 or 6 days? That's quite a reassuring statistic as no way can me and DP go for it every day. Well I could actually but hey ho...

Marie90 · 03/04/2017 16:16

Haha pibbee I did use opks but not very well and only got squinters. My fertile window on Clue and ovia overlapped so me and my OH dtd pretty much everyday in the FW (although we did miss 2).

I found that I made it into a bit of a challenge for him this cycle as I think we both felt a bit pressured C1. I made a jokey box with different sex positions/places and he got to pick one every morning! It made it a bit of a laugh for the both of us! Grin

Pibbee · 03/04/2017 16:07

Marie did you do anything different this cycle? I know you're only on about cycle 2 (I think?!)so not much room for comparison.... how much DTD etc? Ha I love how we can ask questions like this on this thread Grin

Marie90 · 03/04/2017 16:03

Thank you MistyBxx , I'm sending all my love to you, and a massive hug for everything you're going through xxx

MistyBxx · 03/04/2017 14:03

Hey girlies,
Massive congratulations marie I'm over the moon for you!! Now the excitement begins 💕
Sorry AF arrived for some of you 😩
twisted I caught on cycle 6! Not that I'm a great example but hey, could be a lucky number 🍀

As for me, my mc has finally been confirmed. Very sad of course but strangely relieved that I've had an actual answer after a fortnight of hell in limbo. Waiting for nature to take its course now. Once I'm "empty" again so to speak, I will be ttc as soon as I'm allowed. Thanks for listening and offering your support, it has meant a lot to me.
Lots of love and luck to you all for this cycle and I will be checking in to catch up on the next few bfps 🌺 keep an eye out for me in a few weeks if you're still around.
Speak soon xxx

Twistedsister7 · 03/04/2017 13:47

Ttcnovince - I'm still keeping my fx for you!

I have just started a new diet to control my diabetes and I hope that will also help our efforts ttc xx

Marie90 · 03/04/2017 13:25

Thanks guys :)

And he was really sweet, he wanted to wait until today to be sure but he seems excited! It's all taking a while to sink in tbh!

And I'll definitely stick around... I'm looking forward to seeing more bfp over the next few months!! 😊

ttcnovice · 03/04/2017 13:18

Exciting Marie Smile!! How did your DH react? Please stick around to keep us updated on how you're getting on! Fx for a healthy 9 months for you xxx

ttcnovice · 03/04/2017 13:16

Ahh I'm really sorry Twisted Sad I know that fed-up-ness all too well! Can you eat/drink some nice things over the next few days and just allow yourself a little indulgent 'you' time until AF buggers off again? I'll no doubt be joining you on cycle 6 soon so let's hope it really is our lucky one this time 🤞🏼Flowers xxx

Pibbee · 03/04/2017 12:54

Woooowwww congratulations Marie !!!!

Marie90 · 03/04/2017 12:41

Thanks TTC ..Yeah i think if everything goes to plan then my estimated DD is Dec 11th!

And I'm so sorry to hear it Twisted Flowers fx C6 is your cycle! X

Twistedsister7 · 03/04/2017 12:38

Marie that's not a squinter so tentative congratulations to you. FlowersFlowersFlowers

As for me, AF has arrived with maximum pain & fed-up-ness.

Bring on cycle 6 I guess. Time to buy OPKs I think & get serious!!

ttcnovice · 03/04/2017 12:37

Wow Marie huge congrats!! That's great news! Christmas baby for you will it be?!

Marie90 · 03/04/2017 12:18

flatwhite31 sorry she showed up! And what bad timing as well! Although on the plus side at least you're regular with your cycle :)

charl19 that sounds terrifying! Especially if you don't drink that often! Confused

TTC i hope a surprise bfp is on store for you... You never know!

And on my front... I've been having really really sore boobs for the last week and a half which was slightly odd as it's usually just a day or two before AF. Also found myself absolutely knackered last week, even though i didn't have a busier week then normal. Was driving myself crazy in the tww so got myself a Frer and tested on Thursday CD25 when i got in from work and couldn't believe my eyes when i got a V.thin bfp!! (Practically impossible to see unless you were in the light)!

Tested again today (CD29) when AF was ment to arrive and got a better one!!!

Very very early days but I'm cautiously excited!

ttcnovice · 03/04/2017 09:50

Sorry about AF flat - good news that your cycles look to be so regular after the pill though so that's something!

charl that's awful Shock thank goodness you're okay and had no ill effects the next day! It must have been terrifying to go through though!

Hope you're okay mrsj - does HG usually last for the full pregnancy or is it just the first trimester?

No news from me, CD27 at the moment so expecting AF tomorrow. No signs so far but it's hit and miss with me whether I get any to be honest - sometimes I'll get some cramping the day before, other times she just appears out of nowhere! Not going to bother testing I don't think, not much point considering I didn't get a positive OPK this cycle.

charl19 · 03/04/2017 08:18

Mrsj Hope you're ok xx feel stupid to say but I haven't got a clue what HG is..

Aw flatwhite sorry, but the positives are that you know you have a 28 day cycle to work with! Xx

charl19 · 03/04/2017 08:16

Sorry everyone been awol for a while, got a new job last week went out to celebrate on Friday now that I could and had my drink spiked, ended up being taken to a and e in an ambulance.. was fine the next day, very bizarre. Not that I drink very much anyway but has certainly put me off.

Misty I am so sorry, I know how horrible it is and wouldn't wish it on anyone. I led on the sofa for two days and then I felt "normal", it's horrible to say. Thinking of you, don't give up hope it will happen for all of us eventually xx loads of love to you, hope you are resting up and looking after yourself xx here if you need a chat 😘

Flatwhite31 · 03/04/2017 07:15

Well ladies, AF arrived this morning on the day I'm taking 60 kids to an activity centre for a 3 day school trip! What timing! However, it's exactly 28 days after my last pill withdrawal bleed, so it's a good start in terms of being able to make plans! Have a lovely few days everyone. X

Twistedsister7 · 02/04/2017 22:39

Awww Misty there are no words that I can use to put into words how I feel for you. I hope in time you'll be back here & just do what you need to do to get through this xxx

Flatwhite31 · 02/04/2017 13:57

Hi ladies!

How are you all today? It's a gorgeous day here today in the South East. Still no sign of AF here. Knowing my luck, she'll strike while I'm on a Zipwire or something during the school trip I'm going on! Haha! The cramping I had a couple of weeks ago has now settled (thank god, although it was most definitely much worse due to the UTI I had), and has been replaced with sore boobs. I used to get sore boobs on the pill though, so nothing new there. Will test if AF doesn't appear by the end of the week. Hope you're all having a lovely Sunday.
@MistyBxx - how are you feeling today? X

coastalchick · 02/04/2017 12:13

so sorry to hear this misty. Everyone on here is sending lots of love your way x

passmethewine123 · 02/04/2017 06:56

Ohhh Misty I really am gutted for you 😔 well done for being so positive, you're absolutely right that this will happen for you and when it does it will be so special ❤️ take care of yourself over the next few days, I hope it passes quickly for you.

mrsjkerry · 01/04/2017 21:22

I was on the pill with my first boyfriend and I also insisted he wore condoms!!!! I was convinced we'd have sex and get pregnant 😂

OP posts:
Flatwhite31 · 01/04/2017 20:54

Oh I know @JellyBean89! I remember having a scare when I was 19, and being terrified of being pregnant! I went on the pill soon after! That said, there was absolutely no WAY I was ready for motherhood at 19! It's just typical that falling pregnant isn't as easy as it sounds! I'm still worrying about AF not showing up, although my boobs now really hurt which I'm taking as a sign of hormones doing their thing. At least we can support each other on here Smile

Forevertimes · 01/04/2017 20:33

Misty- 💐 So sorry to hear your news. You have been a pillar of strength for lots of us on here and your positivity is inspirational- please don't go anywhere!! Thoughts and prayers with you x

Jellybean- I keep saying exactly the same thing! I have spent most of my adult life being terrified of accidentally getting pregnant- pill and condoms( to be extra safe) and now finding out the reality.... I feel like it's all been a big con!
