Af seems to have defo appeared although slightly lighter than normal. I feel ok about this though, maybe more ready to try properly next time. My cycle length this time has only been 25 or 26 days I think?! Does anyone know if you count the first day of a MC as a first day of af? That's what I've done but not idea what my normal cycle length is as caught first time off the pill on a 28 day!

Thanks @Pibbee I've had an implant in for hunts under six years (2 consecutive ones!) and the pill before that!

@JellyBean89 how long did you have your implant for? Haven't had any symptoms since it's come out apart from a higher sex drive but not sure if that's down to ttc 😂 This week I have been so so tired and a bit tearful too so think AF will arrive soon!

I am on CD 29 of my 31 day cycle and tested using first response this morning and it was negative. Have the whole AF symptoms now so expect AF at the weekend!

I use the CB ones too Pibbee - was really pleased with them the first month but then the last two I haven't had peaks so I'm a bit pissed off with them too now! I've used the One Step OPKs too (which I didn't rate but I know lots of others on here do!) and Tesco own brand ones that I liked! I think you might be best trying a few different types to see which ones you prefer?

Yeah am good now Pibbee thanks! I was just on supply in a special needs school, and my new job is permanent in the same school so am staying in the same place! Two weeks off from next week which I think is needed!!

I think AF is on its way, I've had some bad spotting today (due Saturday).. but I won't be sad if she turns up after having drink spiked and the mc am not in too much of a rush, just trying to chill out a bit and let things happen naturally but it's not always that easy is it! Sorry to those where AF has shown up!

Hmm I guess check once more tomorrow. My AF last time was 5 days later than the previous one and 2 days later than usual. Turned out to just be playing tricks on me but you might be different!

Do you use the opk sticks? If so, which ones? I have been using CB ones but the stupid smily face last time just pissed me off cos DP was not performing so I felt like it was laughing at me! Might try new ones....

They're the One Step "ultra sensitive" (or something like that anyway!) tests Pibbee so I think so unfortunately! My only last bit of hope is that I didn't use FMU, but I think they would still pick it up with AF being actually late now IYSWIM. I'll test again in the morning if still no signs, but I think I'm definitely out!

That's annoying ttcnovice !!! Are the ICs any good though?

CD29 here and no AF yet - took an IC test last night but BFN so don't know why she's late. Just want AF to arrive now so I can get on with cycle 6 .

Shit Charl I have only just seen your comment about your drink getting spiked! That's awful! Hope you are OK. Have you started new job yet ?

my clear blue digital thingy has arrived but need to collect from post office as was at work when they tried to deliver! Did a cheap opk test and nothing but only finished my period on sat so guessing that's right? I'm really new to all this so no clue! (even though I have the clue app!!)

Ahh just saw that AF got you jelly I'm sorry your symptoms were so promising too! Fx for you that you have an IUD side-effect free month this cycle, with a huge BFP at the end of it!

I was due AF today but no sign so far. Feel really nauseous tonight though so that might be a sign she's on her way .

AF showed up for me yesterday on CD 31, and is starting properly today. But sad but also relieved my cycle is somewhat normal and hopefully I won't get any more iud side effects next month.

Welcome @Millie1994, hope your Af arrives soon. Mine came after 2 days and now again after 31. Side effects were awful for me. Have you had any?x

Yeah pibbee we dtd 4 out if 6 days in my fw.. we also did it a few times just before and once after incase i ovulated late! I did enjoy it although i must admit it was knackering!!

Hi Millie welcome to the madness! How long have you had the implant for? I think it can take a while for things to settle down and for AF to appear...

As for me, I came off the pill at the end of December last year. Rapidly heading towards cycle 4 after mine and DP's incredibly lame effort this month.....

First time ttc and definitely understand now how crazy it can make you feel lol
Really lovely to read how supportive you all are and would love to be apart of the group if that's okay?
Only on my first cycle, had the implant out just over two weeks ago but that already feels like a lifetime ago and I am frustrated with not knowing when AF will arrive as I haven't had a regular cycle for the past three years whike the implant has been in.
Fingers crossed for anyone testing soon!
