TWW - anyone else testing in early March?

I'm just starting the dreaded TWW and could use some company. All the other threads on this seem to have reached the testing stage already.

I am 2-3 dpo and planning to test on 4 March. We have been TTC for about 18 months and are getting fertility treatment. I am pretty sure I ovulated this month though, so I have have high hopes for this cycle.

I hope so sweet but trying so hard not to symptom spot 😊
Hi becky! I would try and wait until 2 weeks after you think you ovulated to take a test.

Beckyb4591 · 24/02/2017 13:58

I'd like to join in too!
Had my mirena coil removed 30th Jan after 4 years... Didn't have a period for the whole 4 years but bled for 3 days lightly after removal as expected. Had positive ovulation test on 17th and 18th Feb. I'm guessing I should test early March but as I've not had a period for so long I just don't really know! Any advice? I'm getting sore boobs and dome cramping.... Could that be early pregnancy signs or just my body getting back to normal? So confused! X

sweetandsaltypopcorn · 24/02/2017 13:44

Ethel maybe it's a positive sign then?

ethelfleda · 24/02/2017 13:34

I wouldn't worry? I've had pains like that this month too since Saturday!

sweetandsaltypopcorn · 24/02/2017 13:10

I'm starting to worry. Had what I thought were ovulation pains on Sunday / Monday and thought nothing of. I still have them. Like a dull pain not sharp or sudden just there. And it's localised to the left. Should I be right to worry?

Bull3116 · 24/02/2017 12:28

Hi ladies, so I've got Tonsillitis and this is my FW....don't think March will be positive for me as only managed to dtd twice earlier this week.

satsoooma · 24/02/2017 11:26

You guys have got me watching embryo videos too now. I'm loving this youtube playlist: www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLbKSbFnKYVY18SjJQIZOKlbHrZIXxQrZT

Haha dangle my DH was like that too bless him. And he is always asking when we should know by. Think he is getting impatient. He isn't the only one! x

dangle90 · 24/02/2017 10:03

Bless em they don't have a clue do they, my OH thinks we can get pregnant at any point in the month doesn't realise there's only a few days lol! X

ButterBeanSoup · 24/02/2017 09:22

Following!

ethelfleda · 24/02/2017 07:32

Morning ladies!
andysgirl wow that is freaky and hopefully a good sign!
And I've watched those videos too and shown them to DH. They know so much more now than when they taught us this stuff at school! Lol
My temp was pretty high this morning so I'm pretty certain I've o'd but not sure when! Between Monday and Wednesday is my guess. Doesn't help that DH is symptom spotting on my behalf. I wasn't feeling great yesterday (IBS flair up) and he's like 'oooh is that a sign'?? I'm like 'no hun, I ovulated about 2 days ago... LOL
I also have a stock of three different types of tests. Included in my arsenal is one precious FRER... I won't be cracking that bad boy open unless I'm certain! Ha

Andysgirl15 · 23/02/2017 20:16

I was sat there like "OMG my possible baby is now dividing into 4 cells on the inside of the egg" haha. I'm really losing the plot Grin

MegsMog · 23/02/2017 18:56

satsooma I'm the same re: testing. I'm on CD19 and for the last few days I've been doing an IC in the morning 😳

I have two frers sitting in a cupboard but I'm holding out longer!

dangle90 · 23/02/2017 15:09

Haha so funny you should say that, that's what I was doing last night lol!!

Andysgirl15 · 23/02/2017 14:51

I've watched a couple of vids on youtube about conception and the journey and effort the sperm goes through just to fertilise an egg it's amazing any woman gets pregnant haha

dangle90 · 23/02/2017 14:20

Same here but wouldn't surprise me! So true what they say we spend our lives trying not to get pregnant then when it comes to it it's like that hardest task ever!!

Andysgirl15 · 23/02/2017 14:18

Probably isn't dangle as dogs have a sixth sense just like children so hopefully it's a good sign.

I'd really hate to go through all these symptoms and my DD doing that just to end up with AF. It would be really disheartening Confused

dangle90 · 23/02/2017 14:04

Hopefully she's right Andysgirl! I feel like my dog is more protective over me since we've been ttc dunno if that's my imagination hahaha

dangle90 · 23/02/2017 14:03

I get them free from work lol! When I test early I tell myself it won't bother me if it's negative because I know it's too early but deep down I think it does make me feel a bit crappy lol!

Andysgirl15 · 23/02/2017 13:46

Wanna hear something freaky.....

Last night DD came up to me when I was sat on the sofa, she lifted my top, rubbed my belly at the bottom and said 'aww baby' kissed my belly pulled my top back down and walked away. She's been really clingy and wanting to lie on my belly all the time since then. The last time she did things like that was when I was PG with DS

Really freaked me out. Me and OH just stared at each other like 'Is she tryna tell us sonething"

Andysgirl15 · 23/02/2017 13:42

Haha I have exactly the same conversation with myself satsoooma.

I have an array of PT,s including, Internet cheapies, home bargains, pound shop, and a couple from savers called answer which are identical to first response. I also have many OPKS and later when I go for DD at childcare I'm picking up some first response, clearblue and might get some cheap ones from wilko. I really can't help myself haha Grin

satsoooma · 23/02/2017 12:23

Haha, i know! But they are so cheap, they are basically free. For me it just makes me feel more relaxed.

Me before test: well I know I didn't ovulate until late, but maybe i imagined it and actually ovulated much earlier than i thought. Should i test just incase? No, maybe, definetely not, but wouldn't it be amazing if it was positive? It is very stressful.

Me after test: see, told you it was too early. That proves it. Now go get on with your day.

Noooo it's way to early to test ladies 😂! I'm going to try hold out until thurs/fri xx

satsoooma · 23/02/2017 10:55

Now I wish I had tested this morning AndysGirl, just for fun. I have a bag of about 50 cheapies, so why the hell not. FMU is long gone now though :(

No way I am going to make it the whole 9 days without POAS.

I hope so Ethel, hopefully yours too! I do sometimes think we probably always had these symptoms but now we're more aware of our bodies and always watching for new symptoms, we are crazy ladies Grin
