TWW - anyone else testing in early March?

satsoooma · 20/02/2017 16:24

I'm just starting the dreaded TWW and could use some company. All the other threads on this seem to have reached the testing stage already.

I am 2-3 dpo and planning to test on 4 March. We have been TTC for about 18 months and are getting fertility treatment. I am pretty sure I ovulated this month though, so I have have high hopes for this cycle.

ethelfleda · 26/02/2017 08:17

Morning all!
So I've just been googling things that you should/shouldn't do during the 2ww... is there anything you do or don't do? Obsessing now as had a hot bathas night and read somewhere that you shouldn't Confused probably going over the top though?

Hi *boatrace8

AmyFarrah Are you testing again today? Eek so exciting!

Oysterbabe · 26/02/2017 07:19

Exciting :)
We need test pictures.

AnyFarrahFowler · 25/02/2017 23:15

Thanks everyone, I will definitely report back!

Beckyb4591 · 25/02/2017 21:59

I took a test today too and got a BFN.... Completely expected it though as it's far too early! Why do I put myself through it.... Just have patience! Hahaha

ethelfleda · 25/02/2017 21:40

Oooh exciting news anyfarrah
Test again tomorrow and let us know!! Smile

boatrace30 · 25/02/2017 21:07

And sounds very positive - definitely test again in a few days to see if it gets darker!

boatrace30 · 25/02/2017 21:07

anyfarrah - I'm awful for testing early. I actually tested today on the basis that my period is technically late (though it's never on time!) thank heavens for internet cheapies!

Firsttimeandclueless · 25/02/2017 21:04

Anyfarrah That's amazing! Fx for you. Def sounds promising :)

stuckinny · 25/02/2017 20:34

Andysgirl thanks. Looks like I'll either have to wait or get my ass to the shop to get more.

Anyfarrah, ooh sounds promising. I've seen plenty of posts where they tested early and the line got stronger as the days went on.

AnyFarrahFowler · 25/02/2017 19:58

Actually, after some recalculating, it would appear AF is 5 days away not 7. Starting to believe the test now..!!

AnyFarrahFowler · 25/02/2017 19:50

So, erm... I just took a pregnancy test on a whim, 7 days before AF is due (naughty I know) and I got a faint positive line. It's definitely there. Does anyone know if it's even possible this early??!! Really don't want to get my hopes up for no reason. I know the answer is to take another test tomorrow but I guess I'm just wondering if anyone has ever been in the same boat?! Is it stupidly unreliable this early?! Almost wish I hadn't done it now...

ethelfleda · 25/02/2017 19:29

Hi Boatrace
Sorry you're having trouble! Fingers crossed this is your month!
Looks like we are having a piss party on the 6th then... bring your own piss stick 😁

boatrace30 · 25/02/2017 18:55

Can I join? TTC DC2. Have been off contraception for a year but periods only came back in august (when I stopped breastfeeding DD1). Also have PCOS and cycles have varied from 32-59 days (which is better than before I was pregnant).
Currently on cycle 5 and I'm temp charting but not using opks as told they are unreliable with pcos. Fertility friend thinks I ovulated this month (first time). So while it's CD29 I'm 4dpo and due to test on 5th march. Already obsessing about symptoms. Keep getting period style back pains so really worried that AF is already coming!
Struggling so much with not conceiving this time as last time I thought it would be hard and I got pregnant unexpectedly after five months. So I think this time I hoped it would be easier and it's already taken longer.

Oysterbabe · 25/02/2017 18:41

Great! A few of us for a piss party on 6th then Smile

ethelfleda · 25/02/2017 18:33

Firsttime and oyster I will be testing on 6th March too Smile
I should be either 14dpo or 12dpo by then (weird Temps etc this month so not sure!)
Only 9 days to go!!

Firsttimeandclueless · 25/02/2017 17:45

Hi Oyster

Welcome Smile

You'll be POAS around the same time as me! I should be holding off until the 8th/9th but doubt I will last that long...

You're so lucky that that you're not one for early testing, it drives me bonkers and I still do it Smile

Fx for all of us.

Oysterbabe · 25/02/2017 17:14

Hi all,

Can I join?

36
Ttc #2
8DPO
Cycle 1

I plan to poas 6th March but fully expect AF to have got me by then, I don't think we timed our DTD well. I'll be 15DPO then, I don't really go in for early testing, it makes me a bit nuts squinting at evaps and indents!

dangle90 · 25/02/2017 17:06

Countdowntopregnancy website is my new best friend/worst enemy sigh! I don't have have any symptoms today and just know in the pit of my stomach I'm out this month! I laugh at myself now for ever paying for the morning after pill! Hmm (it only ever happened once)! X

Firsttimeandclueless · 25/02/2017 15:34

Bahahahaha I am the very same Buddah .

I know I shouldn't be as we have not even been TTC for that long. I just have never had any patience.

Currently hooked on watching One born every minute...

I clearly have no life...Wink

Buddah101 · 25/02/2017 15:32

Ive spent the last hour googling early pregnancy signs (like I don't know them off by heart) and implantation bleeding pictures. I need to get pregnant quick just so I can have my life back instead of spending every waking second googling random crap like this.

Firsttimeandclueless · 25/02/2017 14:56

Hi Dangle

Ugh can you believe I only had my last peak day on Weds and I am already trying to second guess everything. Honestly, I am my own worst enemy Smile

Hoping we all get our BFPs soooon

dangle90 · 25/02/2017 14:26

Think I'm about 8 Ethel and didn't even use fmu so don't know what I was expecting hahaha x
