TWW - anyone else testing in early March?

satsoooma · 20/02/2017 16:24

I'm just starting the dreaded TWW and could use some company. All the other threads on this seem to have reached the testing stage already.

I am 2-3 dpo and planning to test on 4 March. We have been TTC for about 18 months and are getting fertility treatment. I am pretty sure I ovulated this month though, so I have have high hopes for this cycle.

Hi banania waves!

dangle90 · 01/03/2017 13:55

Thanks so much ladies, you all really help FlowersHalo As much as I love DP and he knows how much I want this, I don't think they truly understand how much goes through our head during these weeks waiting, and if they did they would think we were bonkers 😂, which we are of course Wink! Have a wedding/holiday to Croatia booked in may, think I need to start concentrate on loosing weight for that to take my mind off this ttc business!

Firsttimeandclueless · 01/03/2017 13:44

Welcome Banania!

Sorry to hear Satsooma and Dangle, it can be so tough emotionally!
I can't believe I once thought it would be so easy.

Not expecting AF for another week so no spotting yet, but starting to feel very discouraged this month.

But, it is not over until AF shows Smile Smile

TheGrumpySquirrel · 01/03/2017 13:32

I got another BFN this morning but no AF yet and still feeling dizzy. CD30 (of a possible 35+..?) I only came off the pill end Dec and got AF 31 January

satsoooma · 01/03/2017 13:32

dangle I always save a few treats, (cake, a movie I am excited for, maybe something I've been wanting to buy) for days that suck - like if AF shows. Helps me to have a little something to look forward too, no matter how things turn out. This whole TTC thing is so emotionally exhausting, make sure you look after yourself.

Because she is a vile ugly witch satsooma I wish she would leave us all alone!!

ethelfleda · 01/03/2017 13:27

I'm sorry you're having a bad day dangle Flowers if this isn't your month it will be your month soon I'm sure of it x
I'm still slightly optimistic but that's because AF not due until Monday so no AF signs yet. Plus Temps still high and boobs still hurting but that's nothing special.
Hi banania you're in the right place here!! When will you test again after your coffee stained FRER drama Smile

satsoooma · 01/03/2017 13:25

Nooooooo! I'm starting to get cramps Sad. AF is due tomorrow ... why can't she just fuck right off and leave me alone!

Hi all, I've been lurking but haven't jumped in yet!

AF due today/tomorrow and think I'm pretty much out. Have had spotting for a couple of days which I often have before AF.

Had a crazy moment yesterday (12dpo) though where I peed on a Frer. It came up BFN so I threw it away and had to run out. Something came over me an hour or so later when I got back to the house, I went outside to the bin and fished it out from the very bottom and there was a second line, fairly obvious. I threw it back in (should have saved it!) and did another Clearblue test - BFN. That's me out of tests now. Tried to look at the Frer again to see if the second line looked more grey or pink but had thrown it right into a coffee cup that still had a bit of coffee in it so ruined now.

As I said, I think AF is on its way anyway and although my boobs have been a bit sore, I haven't felt any real sign this tww, whereas with DC2 I felt clear signs.

So that's me, just had to share my crazy with people who understand!

Oh and stats are TTC #3 cycle 1.

dangle90 · 01/03/2017 12:40

So frustrating, you have this unrealistic expectation that you'll just get preggers the first month of trying, then 4 month in your realising it's not that straight forward at all.

boatrace30 · 01/03/2017 12:34

Haha ethel. Great idea 😊
Welcome new people.
Fingers crossed for everyone.
dangle, I know that feeling, I'm still in my optimistic phase this month but it won't last!!

dangle90 · 01/03/2017 12:26

Just with the negative tests, now this, think I'm best just accepting it's not this month rather than trying to give myself false hope, feel really fed up today, wishing I'd of come off the pill sooner ect ect.....then get annoyed with myself because people wait a lot longer than what I have so far so I shouldn't grumble! Sad

ethelfleda · 01/03/2017 12:23

It might be early pregnancy cramps, they feel just like AF cramps Smile

dangle90 · 01/03/2017 11:23

Hahaha that sounds like an awesome idea Ethel!
I can feel the dark loom of AF creeping up.... dull aches in tummy ☹️

ethelfleda · 01/03/2017 10:59

Ladies I've had a brilliant idea. I'm going to invoke sods law for this cycle. I'm going to book myself a massage for end of next week and get a really nice bottle of red wine in for myself and a massive block of Brie. Then it'll be sods law when I get a BFP and can't have any of them Grin

B1gRabbit · 01/03/2017 10:45

Thanks Ethel and Dangle
I'm also temping this month after a break - still high at the moment though I seem to have ovulated earlier than normal this month - day12 makes the TWW even longer! Grin

dangle90 · 01/03/2017 09:39

Hi rabbit! Fx for you! Xx

ethelfleda · 01/03/2017 09:33

Hi Rabbit 👍
Good luck to you! Fingers crossed. And obviously keep us updated!

B1gRabbit · 01/03/2017 09:19

Hi Everyone waves
This is my first post on MN (eek) I've been loving lurking on this thread. I'm 42, Cycle 24 (yup), 13DPO, and symptom spotting/knickerwatching along with you all. Will test on Sat if AF doesn't turn up by then. We have an appointment at fertility clinic tomorrow for results of endo and cyst removal at the end of December. Fingers crossed we don't have to go down the IVF route but my eggs are bliddy ancient now!
Great news on the BFP's, girls, you're giving us all hope.

Firsttimeandclueless · 01/03/2017 09:15

Knickerwatch over here Smile

Everything watch over here! Google has become my best friend and worst enemy. DH is home from work trip on Friday, hoping I might have some good news.

Have never tracked CM before and mine always seems different anyways! On the watch for some sort of implantation proof.

dangle90 · 01/03/2017 09:14

Boatrace I'm just using internet cheapies!
Nice to see you again clueless.
Hello newbies x

satsoooma · 01/03/2017 09:05

haha! Am also on knickerwatch at this point (13 dpo) oyster. I have also been reading up on what sorts of CM are more likely in early pregnancy than just before AF. It is hard to just relax/put it out of your mind when every trip to the bathroom is so high-stakes!

OP posts:
ethelfleda · 01/03/2017 08:41

I'm with you on Knickerwatch oyster except I'm hoping for some sign of implantation currently. Why do we torture ourselves?!

Oysterbabe · 01/03/2017 08:34

Sorry about the BFNs. It's still early.

12DPO today and feeling really crampy and a bit sick. Knickerwatch is in full swing, just waiting for AF to turn up and laugh in my face.

ethelfleda · 01/03/2017 07:43

boatrace I know just what you mean - I do that every morning too - convinced my temps are going to start dropping and stress about it! They haven't luckily but then I am only 9dpo this morning! I'm not sure if all this temping and OPKing is the right way to go for me!
How is everyone else this morning?
