Calling all OPK-ers, Temp-ers, Clomid-ers, Femara-ers, IUI-ers, IVF-ers and anyone else on the TTC #1 Bus.

We've been going a while now so the novelty has somewhat worn off and we're slightly battle scarred and bruised in the cervix area. We don't get a lot of baby dust in these here parts, we just keep it legs spread and fingers crossed (LSFX). We love a baby bomb from a prior bus-mate but if we get told to 'just relax and enjoy it' ONE MORE TIME you will get a punch in the face!

Here's our Grad's Thread. May 2017 lead us all to upduffed heaven and the Grad's thread, amen.

We don't have rules as such but expect to be talked down from the ledge with kind but firm words if you get too hysterical. But most importantly, don't convince yourself that you're pregnant in the tww. That is paramount!

Hop on board, post your stats and prepare to be dazzled by the wealth of TTC knowledge we long-timeys have to share...

Poor guy kaydee bet it's making your DH feel grateful for having you

Kath I'm so glad you said that, I feel like I'm going to vomit on the bus I feel so hungover. I had two glasses of wine last night 😳😳😳

sk1pper · 15/02/2017 08:42

Kath - your body just isn't used to processing alcohol anymore because of how good you are being. I'm the same with one glass of wine... feel like I've drank a bottle.

Kaydee2017 · 15/02/2017 08:42

They have been friends since school & it's all been a bit sudden, details are a bit sketchy but it's all her from what I can tell so DHs friend is struggling - DH was only their best man in June Sad

Kathrino · 15/02/2017 08:39

Congratulations Claire, wishing you a happy and healthy 9 months.

Hep, so sorry about AF. Hope you're doing okay Flowers

Welcome tuxie, I hope your stay with us is short.

Your DH sounds lovely kaydee!

We also had a nice chilled V Day. Like pyjamas, fertile week doesn't start for a few days so nice to DTD without that pressure. One glass of vino and I'm feeling a bit ropey though, am I getting old?!

Londonjam · 15/02/2017 08:28

Sorry hep ☹️** hope you're alright

Congratulations Claire!

That's sweet of your DH being there for his friend on valentines kaydee

We had a lovely evening out together and had a really fun conversation about all the places we want to explore in the world. Maybe there's a plan B if babies don't come! We're on track with EOD though and it's quite nice thinking I don't have to do it tonight.

Poppet8583 · 15/02/2017 07:49

Congrats Claire! Sorry for AF Hep.

I've joined the grads thread but will probably lurk on here to see how you're all getting on. Keeping everything crossed that you get your very well deserved BFPs soon.

Thank you for welcoming to this thread, you're all so lovely and helpful x

sk1pper · 15/02/2017 07:32

Congratulations claire!

And I'm sorry Hep Flowers - that damn witch!

Kaydee2017 · 15/02/2017 07:23

Sorry hep FlowersFlowers

Kaydee2017 · 15/02/2017 07:23

Congratulations Claire Smile

DH was out with a friend who is just splitting up from his wife last night, so we did cards, he got me some chocs, and then I promptly sat & ate them after he'd gone out - who says romance is dead? Grin

Miranda234 · 15/02/2017 07:21

Aw so sorry hep Flowers.

Pyjamas81 · 15/02/2017 07:20

Congrats Claire!!!

Bah to first signs of AF hep 🙁

Hope everyone had a good Valentine's Day! Me and DH had a chilled one - just cards and I got some nice 🌹. It's my birthday next month and our anniversary the month after so we agreed not to do too much on Valentine's Day! Dtd last night so we're on schedule - FW kicks off on Friday so we're going to have a break until then - don't want to tire out too early! Then it's every other day again.

I'm coming down with a cold though - nooooooo!

Glad kwick is doing as ok as can be expected - if you read this kwick, you're in my thoughts xxx

HepKestrel · 15/02/2017 07:06

Congratulations Claire!

First signs (pink) of AF arriving right on schedule. And oh has just asked me to buy a congratulations card for his cousins new arrival.....

Miranda234 · 15/02/2017 06:29

Aw congratulations claire! Smile

88claire · 15/02/2017 05:54

Hello ladies,

I have said this on other threads but I wanted to let you know I got my BFP this morning. It's very early as either my digital expired (displayed not pregnant in about 40 seconds) but my FRER and clearblue plus are obviously positive.

I just wanted to say thanks so much for all your support. It's been amazing over the last 8 weeks or so.

I will be watching quietly for some BFPS!!

sk1pper · 14/02/2017 22:27

Winging - I wouldn't go by your mood/emotion. Hormones stay roughly the same until a day before AF, then you get the hormone shift if not pg. fx to you

Welcome glittery and tuxie!

tuxie11 · 14/02/2017 22:23

Hi all

so many TTC #1 threads!

26
Cycle 1
CD20

Think I Ov on CD15 so think I'm due on 23rd feb. Not been doing OPK as I didn't know it was a thing until a week ago!

glitteryvibes · 14/02/2017 22:05

Hey all,
Age 27
Cycle 2
Cd 19
Due around 22nd feb, but I think I might have ovulated 2 days earlier so possibly could come before?? But with only 2 cycles of opks I actually have no idea, cycles have been between 25-28 days but mostly 26 days for last 2 years so 22nd is based on 26 days.

Eva30 · 14/02/2017 21:14

Hi all
alexia thanks for new thread, love the picture!

mouse nice to see you and that cake, wow!!
Sorry to hear about the losses for quite a few on this thread xx
I struggle to keep up with this fast moving thread but I'm always lurking!Grin

WingingIt83 · 14/02/2017 20:27

Hi all, I'm a bit sporadic st the mo as having a relaxed cycle so trying not to stalk MN quite so much.

WingingIt
Age 33
Cycle 12 cd19
Not so much of a sniff of a bfp

Someone talk me down from writing off this cycle. .... really feeling the hormone slump already - am I right to assume I'm out, as surely if you catch your body should send you up with lots of happy hormones, not keep down in the dumps. Sad

sk1pper · 14/02/2017 19:53

Thanks for the update Mouse - I'm glad she's okay...well as good as she can be considering. Glad she's got a very supportive mummy to look after her.

MouseLove · 14/02/2017 19:42

CAKE!!!!
I'm so full after fajitas that I can't fit any in. Maybe later. I've had a dull belly ache all day and it's gone now so may as well feel sick! 🎂🍰🍫

Kwick is spending some time at her mums and is keeping in good spirits, ill let her know you're all asking about her, she's probably lurking and will appreciate all the lovely messages. (Xxx)

sk1pper · 14/02/2017 19:10

OH and I normally agree to not buy presents but this year he broke the pact.

True love is buying your wife to be the ninja video game they wanted. Screw Flowers and Cake.

We're off out for pizza (and maybe a sneaky glass of fizz) tonight. Just waiting for DH to get home from work, I'm bloody starving!

Happy Valentines lovelies!

Pugmummy87 · 14/02/2017 18:31

Thanks for new thread alexia. The picture had me proper lol (I would probably do this with my pugs).

Pug
Cycle whatever (18?)
Early miscarriage at 4+6 in Jan.
Have first fertility clinic appt in April.
CD 34, approx 8dpo.

Harriet glad you saw a nice GP today.
I started ttc right away, the lure of the supposed 'increased fertility' immediately after a miscarriage was enough for me. I also felt it was early enough that trying straight away wouldn't be an issue.
Having said that, this appears to be a longer cycle as I only ovulated 8 days ago so I think it took a little while for the hcg to completely clear out of my system.
Hope you are coping OK.

I hope Kwick is OK too.

Happy Valentine's all. Anyone doing anything tonight? We don't really do valentines as our anniversary is on the 19th. We are scoffing down are domino's though Blush

Londonjam · 14/02/2017 18:15

Glad to hear you saw a more understanding doctor Harriet. Hope you can get straight back on and that your body is ready now.

Flash EWCM is magical ! Not gross! Good luck catching egg

Happy valentines mouse 💕

Hurrah for steak and red wine macs we are going out for tapas and vino tonight Wine

I had a pm from kwick at the weekend but not since. Am thinking of her much too 🌷
