Calling all OPK-ers, Temp-ers, Clomid-ers, Femara-ers, IUI-ers, IVF-ers and anyone else on the TTC #1 Bus.

We've been going a while now so the novelty has somewhat worn off and we're slightly battle scarred and bruised in the cervix area. We don't get a lot of baby dust in these here parts, we just keep it legs spread and fingers crossed (LSFX). We love a baby bomb from a prior bus-mate but if we get told to 'just relax and enjoy it' ONE MORE TIME you will get a punch in the face!

Here's our Grad's Thread. May 2017 lead us all to upduffed heaven and the Grad's thread, amen.

We don't have rules as such but expect to be talked down from the ledge with kind but firm words if you get too hysterical. But most importantly, don't convince yourself that you're pregnant in the tww. That is paramount!

Hop on board, post your stats and prepare to be dazzled by the wealth of TTC knowledge we long-timeys have to share...

Congratulations peaches, what wonderful news! And I wouldn't worry about the wine last week at all, it was far too early to matte then. Wishing you a healthy and happy nine months!

Pyjamas81 · 19/02/2017 14:10

Thanks alexia! Just ordered 😊

HepKestrel · 19/02/2017 13:20

Congratulations peaches!!!! So happy for you

AlexiaB · 19/02/2017 13:20

Also that sadly reminds me - think it was Jam who mentioned Nicky? She said she was miscarrying (quite a long time ago now) and she hasn't returned to either thread. I'd like to know how she's doing Flowers Sad

You trooper pyjamas! Well done you. All I've done today is shower, eat and watch TV haha. I've been ill since Thursday evening, it's rubbish isn't it? Hope you feel better soon Flowers

I got my softcups HERE. It was an impulse buy so I didn't look at any other options but they arrived quickly and sealed.

I'm such a Grad's stalkerBlush MrsG is having a girl! How quickly did that go? Congrats!! That's my dream.

Hope everyone is having a nice Sunday WineBrew

Eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeep!!!!! Congratulations peaches! Really happy for you 😀😀😀 Sorry I can't remember - were you doing EOD as well? I've been taking ubiquinol since December, so I hoping it's built up now as well!

Glad EOD going well for you too jam - can I ask where you get your soft cups from? I have a mooncup, but am worries the quite significant suction when I take it out will have the opposite effect so looking for something that may be ambit gentler.

Just got back from training session Alexia - I'm knackered even though he went easy on me! I haven't had a horrible bug like this for so long! Hope it doesn't affect anything else ☹️ Hope you shake yours as well - seems like this Winter bug is a lingerer, I've been feeling shit since Wednesday!

Glad you enjoyed baby cuddles glittery, I enjoyed mine as well so I know what you mean about the broodiness! Then he had a poo explosion which helped 😂

AlexiaB · 19/02/2017 12:15

Peaches don't worry about a few drinks, it would have been way too early at that point. Love that it happened during your fuck it weekend! Can't wait to see more tests. You really deserve this - wishing you a happy and healthy pregnancy.

Lol Geeup

Fx for you Jam and glittery

I can't shake this cold & cough Sad

For all those that were talking about which supplements they take, thought this would brighten your day.

Congratulations peaches! Wonderful news. Sounds like a fuck it cycle is the way forward . How's your OH?

Pyjamas* I'm hoping the quantity and quality will be better for HS EOD too. I've been shoving a soft cup in afterwards so I'm not sure if there actually is any difference for us.

I reckon I've ovulated as OPK was positive Friday. I've had right sided pain for the first time ever - it seems since TTC! I always always get it on the left. As long as one has come I don't care!

Peaches8Posies · 19/02/2017 11:09

missy i never done official tracking so to speak, but I reckon I ovulated 2 weekends ago. But that was my fuck it weekend with OH Shock so the on the Saturday we both had drinks. I put in my details on the NHS due date calculator they put me at 4 weeks. I reckon af was due friday/Saturday.

I honestly totally wrote this cycle off. So much so I had a day out with one of my best friends on Wednesday as we both happened to be free and I had couple glasses of wine with my food. Now I feel really bad Sad.

alexia if I did ovulate on the 4th/5th Feb we dtd on Tues 31st, we'd 1st (used pre seed) Friday 3rd and sun 5th. I have not used pre seed for a long time so that was 1 difference this cycle. I also cut back all the supplements I have been taking. I stated taking CQ10 (2x200 tablet) at the start of December. When I read up on this it did say it takes roughly 3 months to have a full effect and this is month 3. I also take a pre conception vitamin, vitamin D, omega 3 and extra folic acid. I take the Cq10 and pre conceptin vitamin at night together, the rest first thing in the morning.

I was surprised at line came up tbh, it was rather quick as well. I will probably need to wait until tomorrow to get a proper test. I only have an asda near by and they keep all their tests in security cases, so no stealth purchases from there. A couple of the girls that work there know my family and no way do I want to risk getting found out Blush.

ViSovari · 19/02/2017 11:05

Ooh that is a great line!!!! Congratulations peaches

glitteryvibes · 19/02/2017 11:00

Congrats peaches that's a crackin' line!!

I still have very very light basically not there but just about noticeable brown spotting- started 48hours ago now. No cramping. Af due Wednesday, 11/12dpo today. Still
Holding out on buying any tests. Also so tired. Walked the dog yesterday and felt like I had run at least a half marathon.

Kudos to all managing to get on it when still feeling ill, I honestly don't think I would manage, I struggle when I'm tired never mind Ill.

Baby cuddles were lovely yesterday but just intensifies the brodiness. Almost went and got some hpts straight away and then didn't!

AlexiaB · 19/02/2017 10:38

Yesssssss Peaches Grin Ahh I'm soo happy for you! That's a great line on a cheapie. Really interested in what you did/didn't do in your relaxed cycle? Huge congratulations!!! Xx

pyjamas hope your trainer goes easy on you!

Kathrino fx you get back on track tonight. We're doing EOD too and finally started last night. I was so sick I just laid there Shock

Lol kathrino I now sit on the otherside of the fence and the company I work for in now one of your clients!

MissyJones80s · 19/02/2017 10:36

peaches a line whoop! How late are you do you think?

Peaches8Posies · 19/02/2017 10:18

pyjamas hope your session sweats the last of the germs out. It seems to last for ages!

Kathrino · 19/02/2017 09:11

Feel better peaches, there are so many nasty things going around at the moment! Hoping that AF stays away for you, FX!

Winging, we may have to consider your membership of this thread if you're from another firm ;) Re folate, I think that's another B vitamin (B9 maybe?). Being deficient in it has similar effects to B12 and is a form of anaemia. All my results say is that they're > 20 too which seems to be fine.

DH was feeling too rough to start EOD last night but hoping we'll be on track from tonight.

Pyjamas81 · 19/02/2017 08:46

Still amazed at how small a world it is - will always be wondering when I'm in those damn lifts now 😁

Sorry to hear you've got this horrible cold as well peaches - I've had it since Wednesday and it's proving hard to shift! I'm still pretty congested, but at least the aches and shivering have gone. I've got a PT session at the gym at 11am, I've told him to go easy on me!

Glad you enjoyed that last wine smitten - hope the TWW isn't too infuriating.

I'm also really enjoying this more chilled out cycle, HS tonight after a day's break and I'm not dreading it! DH seems a lot happier too. Without TMI, it seems like the 'quality' is better after a day's break for him as I think he was running a bit er, 'dry' when it was consecutive days!

WingingIt83 · 19/02/2017 07:13

Can't believe I didn't think of that company, I was racking my brains for 3 letter names and could only come up with bbc! Hmm
Given I'm formerly from that sector too (although now in industry) you'd have thought I would get it!

I went and got my day 21 blood print out from last month. I knew they were normal but wanted my print out. Progesterone level looked good at 50 (especially given I ovulate quite late). Only thing I wasn't sure about was folate level with was over 20 (but I don't know how much over 20!). Not sure what this is?

SmittenPears · 19/02/2017 01:00

Just enjoyed my last wine before the TWW begins... mmm... Wine

Kaydee2017 · 18/02/2017 20:32

Hope everyone is having a nice chilled Saturday evening - having a sneaky bottle of beer with DH Grin

Peaches8Posies · 18/02/2017 20:22

Found you! Wow! Love how busy the thread has become again 😊

Need to properly catch up.

Glad your tests went well kath. Sorry to hear there has been hard times with DH/OH'S. I can't believe we had kath and kwick in the same building now we have soo many in the same employment. Love when the world randomly brings people together like this. Smile. Especially when we are all sharing this journey together.

harriet glad you are feeling stronger. I have read a lot about baby asprin, some studies show a big difference some not at all. But the general consensus I found from my reading was it won't do any harm so always worth a try. There were lots of positive success stories and I hope yours and alexias are too. Folic acid also helps with blood circulation to the uterus (apparently) so it may be worth chatting to your gp about getting a prescription for high strength Folic acid too?

alexia how have you been? Have you spoken to anyone in RL? glad you are feeling strong again and are back here with us.

Have enjoyed my chilled out cycle. Fx it's been successful. AF due about now if my guesstimate on OV was right. Have cramps but nothing else to report.

kwick if you are lurking I hope you are getting lots of TLC and you are being kind to yourself. You have been in my thoughts.

kav i can't believe you are 16 wks! Hope it has went quickly and you are well. Yeh to being nearly half way to meeting your little one Smile.

Hope everyone is well, I'm loaded with a horrible head cold so will read back once it clears a little bit.

AlexiaB · 18/02/2017 19:49

Not quite Smitten but you're getting there!
