Hello. Im currently 3-4 DPO (days post ovulation) with AF/BFP (Aunt Flo/Big Fat Positive) due 22-25th Feb! Did plenty baby dancing so fingers crossed and have promised myself not to symptom spot or go Google crazy this time. Ive also swore not to test until 18th Feb ... Do i have anyone in similar place so we can support each other and talk (while avoiding google lol) xx

Evening ladies! Nice to get the conversation going again!

Well Ovia messed my fertile week up (as per previous post) so I've not got 3 fertility apps on the go 😂 Each is ever so slightly different! Ha! It's been ovulation this week so I've been POAS every day for the last 10 days. Using internet cheapies - getting darker but not quite as dark as the control line.

One app is saying I can test on Saturday but I think I'm gonna wait a week until the other 2 apps suggest I should be expecting AF!

How's everyone doing?!

teaandbics · 16/03/2017 15:46

Hope you're both good even Confused

teaandbics · 16/03/2017 14:41

Hello nature and apple. Hope you're. It's good.

nature so sorry about the bfn but it's still early! I have everything crossed for you. Sorry to hear you were in A&E. Hope you're ok.

You're not being irrational at all. Ttc becomes all consuming and makes it feel a bit like life is segmented into 2 week periods of time involving lots of horrible waiting and hoping! Yes very hard hearing of others getting pregnant - although you're obviously happy for them, it's still tough. apple is right, though, that happy stories keep you going during the ttc craziness.

apple hello lovely! Great to hear that time is flying and even better that you have such a positive attitude, as always. Hope its contagious! Grin

When are you planning on testing? (You are so impressive at not breaking and testing early!). No idea what to say to those asking when you're going to have children! I never perfected a good answer as I was always a bit taken aback when people were brazen enough to raise it. Such a rude thing to ask!
Xxx

apple about 5/6 but was reassured they'd pick it up... Bit confused as it wouldn't have implanted by then! But done a home test about 9dpo and was bfn. I'm about 11dpo now. I'm super confused but apparently not PG!

Hello lovely 2ww ladies.. It's really been a while! I've been so busy with work lately I hadn't even had time to think about what's been going on with my body, which has actually been quite refreshing as it turns out time seems to have flown by.

Nature sorry to hear about your BFN, how many dpo's were you when you tested? It could be still very early if we're on similar cycles. It's always a punch to the gut when you hear people are pregnant.. :( I'm having trouble with people asking me when do I plan to have children.. :( 3 months is still very early stages of trying.. As hard as you try not to let it become an all consuming thing.. My friend had been trying for over 2 years and when she was just about to go down the IVF route she became pregnant and is now due next month! :) I keep thinking of the happy, positive stories to get me through it. For me it has been 2 months of trying with 1mc and I still feel I'm just scratching the surface compared to so many. I can imagine my next sentence could be incredibly overrated but staying positive is key :).

I've been diligently doing the OPK's this month and plenty of baby dancing so we shall see.. I'm currently CD 23, 8DPO, had some cramping yesterday and today but not much else. How are you ladies doing? If there's anybody out there..

OnNaturesCourse · 13/03/2017 00:13

Just checking in. How you all getting on? I got another BFN when i landed myself in A&E the other night, was expected but tonight a family member has announced baby #2 is due and its been like a punch to the gut. 3 months ttc and ive already had enough. 😞 am i being irrational here?

Hi AJ and nature. Hope you're both good.

*AJ, I had weird stuff with Ovia too, where it has been totally out for my fertile week and then put it back by over a week when I input my positive opk (so that I would have missed the positive date on their calculations). All very annoying but much more so to unilaterally change it! Generally it was pretty good, but I ended up relying on the clearblue dual opks as they flash so you know your fertile period is starting. They do sometimes flash forever though...

OnNaturesCourse · 09/03/2017 17:43

Thats weird AJ!? Ive never used that app but heard only good things about it!

AJE84 · 07/03/2017 19:36

Well I'm a bit miffed today! I woke up & literally overnight Ovia (fertility app) had changed my fertile week from starting on the 12th to FINISHING YESTERDAY!!!!!!! 😡 wtf?!?!? I'm hoping it's a glitch because we are saving our energy for DTD on ovulation week & by this calculation we've missed it! I even entered OPK as negative & yet for some reason it thinks I've ovulated! I don't understand! Has anyone else had issues with Ovia?!

teaandbics · 07/03/2017 14:03

Thank you nature.

The day before is good, so stay positive! A holiday sounds like a lovely plan. It's surprising how often you hear of people going away and getting their bfp. Ttc can be so stressful can't it? I'll keep everything crossed for you x

OnNaturesCourse · 07/03/2017 11:53

tea i hope everything goes as smooth as possible for you. Im about 1dpo, roughly. Doubt we caught it. DP and I had a row and huffed at each other for days. We DTD the day before so theres a glimmer of hope i guess. DP and i have decided to look at getting away for a long weekend in May/June so hopefully get a holiday bump! Im thinking of taking a break from ttc as im driven crazy atm.

Morning nature. Thanks for thinking of me Flowers

I'm ok thanks. It's not an ectopic, which is a relief - my blood results kept rising for a while so they weren't sure what was going on. I'm just wiped out now but am hoping the worst of it, physically at least, is over now. Have to work out what I'm going to do about my son's post mortem results. I need to see the original consultant but I'm not up to it yet, although I'm so angry that maybe now is a good time to do it! Anyway, that's all for another day when I'm feeling a bit better.

How are you? When is ovulation time for you this month?

Hope everyone else is good.

Xx

Hi apple, thank you ❤ I'm hoping that the worst of it is over now. We'll see.

Thanks AJ x Wishing you lots of luck for 29th x

AJE84 · 04/03/2017 10:22

Oh Tea, I'm so sorry to hear that. Sending you lots of love xxxx

appleseedpip · 03/03/2017 22:10

Oh teaandbics :( I'm so sorry, it is so unfair.. (big hug).. I too had a MMC similar to Pingu I MMC at 12 weeks measuring at 10 weeks. It was difficult.. but I think the severity and intensity of it varies depending on how far along the pregnancy you are. Although my pregnancy came to an end I was surprised by how resilient my body was through it all. Try to rest up and look after yourself Flowers xxxx

teaandbics · 03/03/2017 17:16

pingu and pass thank you so much x

pingu, thanks, that's really helpful. Just gives me a bit of an idea what may happen over the next couple of weeks x

PingusMistress · 03/03/2017 14:35

Tea I let things happen naturally after my MMC, it was a few years ago so can't remember all the details though. I had one bad afternoon of heavy cramps (like mini contractions) then I think about a week of light bleeding after. Although it happened at 10 weeks I was measuring six weeks so I guess not too different to you. Hope the physical and emotional pain eases for you soon. X

passmethewine123 · 03/03/2017 14:29

Ohh Tea I'm so sorry for your loss, such sad news. Please take care of yourself. I'm sorry I can't advice about bleeding etc but hopefully somebody will be able to xx

PingusMistress · 03/03/2017 13:41

teaandbics · 03/03/2017 10:20

OP posts:
teaandbics · 03/03/2017 09:29

Hello everyone,

Hope you're all good.

I have sad news. On Wednesday I started to bleed and it got heavier. Went to the EPU who confirmed that I was miscarrying. We were worried about another ectopic but it doesn't seem to be that thank goodness. I'm obviously totally gutted, especially because the consultant I saw looked through all of my history because of my stillbirth and gave me a totally different reason for my son's death and was quite clear and firm about what he thought was the reason. I had been told at my post-mortem meeting that there was no cause. So I'm struggling right now.

The reason for posting was to ask about bleeding for those who have had a miscarriage (and I'm very sorry for those who have, and obviously please don't worry about answering if it's upsetting for you to go over). With my ectopic I was rushed in for emergency surgery so it was all a bit different. I'm just wondering how long you all bled for, so I know what I may be able to expect (appreciating that it differs for everyone).

Wishing good luck to everyone who is trying again this month and an uneventful and smooth time for those who are there already xxx
