So sorry pjs and loxy have a massive glass of wine later.

Cd 29. No af, neg test. Odd cramp here and there. Massive mood swings like normal. So annoyed she's late again.

florafoxtrot · 08/03/2017 13:55

So sorry Loxy, I really hope you're OK and that your sticky bean is not far away. Seen so many instances of girls conceiving straight after a MC so fx its the same case for you.

I'm now on on Cycle 9 Eva - actually feeling OK at the moment and quite chilled out about it happening at some point. Fx for you and basset

Wine for pjs

Loxy4527 · 08/03/2017 12:05

Thanks guys, AF just arrived so I can move on to day 1 of cycle 5. Wine tonight I think :p

Do you think this cycle will be a bit off kilter? I'm thinking I might go cold turkey on tracking and everything for this month and "not try" just to chill things out a bit. Besides, DH has always been a bit dubious about a xmas baby.

Eva30 · 08/03/2017 11:35

Oh loxy I'm so sorry
basset fx we both get our magical bfps!
pjs that sound perfect. Are you going private for the ivf? Any idea of cost? My area are allowed 2 rounds of ivf on the NHS which I would need to take up as financially we'd be very stretched paying for ivf

bassetmum · 08/03/2017 10:01

Oh I am so sorry loxy. Hugs to you

Hey. I'm back. Sad

A barely there test yesterday and two negatives this morning; digital and FRER. No bleeding yet. Went to gp, he refferred me to the Early Pregnancy Unit to rule out ectopic, did a phone consult. They think it's just a miscarriage so I'm to retest in a week and let them know.

Left in limbo in the mean time. Never mind.

bassetmum · 08/03/2017 09:21

Oh no pjs. So sorry shes reared her ugly head again. Enjoy your Wine

Kiwi our bodies can do strange thing. Im with pjs. No hormonal contraceptives for me ever again.

Eva we are at similar points I am 8dpo. Had a few hours of really strange cramps yesterday but trying not to symptom spot. Although the fact that I pulled my hamstring randomly whilst driving yesterday is helping to distract from the ss.

Like clockwork - AF is here 😡 No birthday BFP for me (birthday next week). Really thought this would have happened by the time I was 36, but it wasn't meant to be 😞. I'd be more relaxed about it if it weren't for those damn AMH levels. At least I had a stress free TWW and my now predictable cycles mean I don't have to opk or temp anymore.

Yep Eva - have drinks after work tomorrow, 40th bday party on weekend and my birthday next Friday. I will be letting my hair down! Fx for your test results!

Eva30 · 08/03/2017 06:53

Oh sorry for af flora and bfn kiwi

Yeah kiwi as pj's said it might be worth getting a bbt thermometer. Ewcm is a bonus though, and 5 months is still early in the TTC world so positive thoughts Smile

flora what cycle are you on?

pjs ugh, really hope it's not af on the way. You have nice things planned if it is though if I remember rightly?

I'm 6dpo today and as per usual feel nothing. Getting my bloods done Fri and DH sperm analysis results.

Pyjamas81 · 07/03/2017 22:33

Ah ok - you may have ov'd at a slightly different time then, honestly, it's a minefield! Ewcm is encouraging though and if you had it for that long, you could have easily ov'd at any point that time and you may have had another surge! Hang in there - I know it's hard. I'd say it's only now, 10 months in that my cycles have totally settled and have become predictable!

kiwi17 · 07/03/2017 22:24

Oh no I didn't - didn't know that could happen :( stupid nexplanon was the worst decision I've ever made :( I did have ewcm though and for 10 days after too..

Pyjamas81 · 07/03/2017 22:13

Ah did you confirm ov with temping though? Opks only detect the surge, not whether you actually ovulated - I was also on Nexplanon and I had a couple of cycles where I surged, but didn't ovulate, and one where I surged twice in one cycle! I ovulated on the second surge. I've sworn I'm never going on hormonal birth control again!

Really hope you get an answer soon - the wait is torture 💐💐

kiwi17 · 07/03/2017 22:01

pjs I had the implant but it was removed over 5 months ago and things have settled the last couple of months :( I definitely got a smiley on my opk so I did ovulate..

Pyjamas81 · 07/03/2017 21:38

Still spotting today which seems to have stopped - exact same thing happened last month, so fully expecting AF tomorrow/Thurs.

Sorry you're in such a frustrating place kiwi -how long since you came off the pill?

Really hope the provera kicks things into action kitty!

Feeling blue today - just want AF to arrive now so I can get on with brushing it off. Someone I know got engaged and even though am truly happy for her, I'm married myself, and an engagement has absolutely nothing to do with me TTC, I still feel sad - it makes no sense! Damn hormones. Maybe it's because it reminds of a year ago when I was getting married and thought starting a family would be oh so easy - who knows.

DH and I had a chat last night and if nothing happens by May, we'll go for IVF. Scary, but also feels good to know we'll be taking action!

KittyKat73 · 07/03/2017 16:29

Hey Ladies!

Been working non stop so havent been able to go on this for a few days to playing catch up. Nothing to update on my end today is my last day on Provera then hopefully Aunt flo should make an appearance for the first time since 1st December.

Piehunter so sorry to hear your news Flowers hope you have good support around you

Flora hope your feeling better, so sorry that AF has arrived but good that you let it all out! this is soo frustrating mentally and physically its good to have a release.

pjs got my FX that AF didnt arrive for you!

Kiwi Sorry to hear your feeling so low, I Was the same when my Af totally disappeared you feel so helpless to your own body and just want to know whats happening! My gp had suggested that post Pill cycles can take a year before they fully get back to sync at least that was the reason she gave me for mine disappearing. Hope you get an answer soon!

kiwi17 · 07/03/2017 14:09

Cry for help here :( after Sundays bfn and this mornings bfn I am feeling a bit miserable.. Still no sign of af, no cramps or anything but I am now 2 days late from my normal cycle, 18dpo and I know I ovulated on the 17th Feb. Am I hoping too hard that I still am?? Or is it true that if you get bfn then that's it? So fed up with the whole stupid waiting game :( sorry negative rant over...

florafoxtrot · 07/03/2017 11:24

Sorry PJs. Hope that it's not her but you are right, all we can do is pick ourselves up and keep going. We will all get there in the end and it will be worth it

Pyjamas81 · 06/03/2017 22:54

Just noticed very very faint spotting (AF due Weds) looks like cycle 10 is on its way ☹️ Oh well, all we can do is carry on.

Loxy4527 · 06/03/2017 20:43

Thanks, pie! Haha, nope. No wine for me, it's much better off in your hands Grin

Haven't called my GP yet, figured I'd wait till the end of the week once I've got a full week under my belt. Sounds from other folks that most GPs don't want to know unless you're over a week late anyway. Also I'm way too paranoid to actually believe I'm pregnant.

florafoxtrot · 06/03/2017 17:52

You can start using it whenever Bliss. I tend to feel too stroppy during AF to think about waking up early to record temps but start from about CD4 just to get a feel for things.

I'm feeling much more positive today and determined to keep my spirits up.

Fx for you Basset

Blissfulignorance · 06/03/2017 17:41

Pleased you're sounding so positive about this crappy situation pie. I really do hope that you get sorted and have a beautiful little baby one day.

Just back from the gp. I'm not sure he took me all that seriously. He said he wouldn't refer me to anyone until I've been trying for 24 months.
He said he will do Day 21 bloods and a chlamydia test?! And has advised DH to have a sperm analysis at his own gp.

I took a FRER this afternoon (my morning or as close as I could get to FMU post night shift) and it's still Snow White. Cd 27 for me and I'm definitely exhibiting pre af temper and cramps. Plus I'm ravenous which is a sure sign she'll be here by morning probably.

DH has ordered me a bbt, what cd do I start using it?

Hope everyone else is fine.

Piehunter · 06/03/2017 17:12

Bugger, knew I'd forget something, congrats Loxy about time we were due another BFP! FlowersStarWine oh wait, no wine for you, I'll drink to your success Grin

Piehunter · 06/03/2017 17:11

Thank you all for your kindness Flowers

Blissful I'm hopeful that I'll be able to get pregnant and carry to term at some point it's just seeming like it's all getting more complex!
Fx that it's just too early to see anything on that IC!

Flora so sorry AF arrived, well done for having a cry and picking yourself up again, think getting it all out can help avoid a few days of feeling gloomy.. I imagine referral to specialist eventually although I hold out v little hope as generally I am complex, bewildering and they are unable to fix any of my problems so far!

pj's think a childish strop is totally normal every once in a while, go with it and hope it leaves soon! FX for you, glad you have much distraction, makes it go so much faster!

eva stroke wise I'm already on anti-clotting injections twice a day and have been for over 2 and a half years now, they're at the dose they would give if I had a clot to dissolve it, so that gives me some protection. I have an autoimmune condition where my body attacks (among other things) the outer coating of my blood cells which makes them sticky. It's the same condition that gives me a much higher risk in pregnancy. I have a referral for further testing at specialist neuro hospital. After some further googling it appears 90% of those with "dysfunctional uterine bleeding" aren't ovulating so it may (hopefully) be as simple as something like clomid to get me ovulating. Limited hormone wise because of my increased risk of clots just to complicate things Grin

basset good start to the symptom spotting Wink fx for you

Pyjamas81 · 05/03/2017 18:17

Ah sorry about AF Flora 💐💐 Sometimes a good cry really helps. On the plus side - could be a sign that your LP is getting longer?

Hang in there Bassett! Fx for you.

Sorry about bfn blissful - not out until the old hag sings though 🙂

Very productive day today - meals prepped for the week, laundry done, weekend paper has been read, PT session at the gym - am all set for an evening on the sofa with DH ☺️ AF due on Weds - luckily work will be hectic so will hopefully help keep Knicker Watch under control!

Loxy4527 · 05/03/2017 18:07

Aw, sorry to hear that Flora :( Flowers Onwards to next month xxx
