Ah rubbish! Haha well I have a few opks left so will use those and then temp hopefully will confirm... Argh its all so complicated!

florafoxtrot · 15/03/2017 19:39

It rises once you've ovulated Kiwi so totally useless for predicating ovulation but does confirm once it's happened. Hope that helps

kiwi17 · 15/03/2017 19:24

Sorry you're still feeling blue pjs :( its understandable though. Quick query from me - c6 cd3 here and started temping yesterday for the first time. What am I looking for?? Is it when it starts to rise I'm about to ovulate? Want to prove I'm actually ovulating this month... Thanks!

Pyjamas81 · 15/03/2017 19:10

So so sorry basset 💐 I remember cycle 8 being particularly shit ☹️ Make sure you take care of yourself and feel free to rage all you like.

Boo to spotting JeNe - hope AF stays away!

How frustrating Eva! It does sound like it's a mix up their end - fx that's what it is.

I'm doing ok over here on CD8 - started back up with EOD on Sunday, FW starts tomorrow. Me and DH are much better but I'm still feeling a bit blue about what happened. And trapped if I'm honest. Hopefully that feeling will wear off with time, but his behaviour really did make me see him in a different light. He's doing everything he can to be lovely, but it's still on my mind. It was a lovely sunny day today and some people from work went for a swift half in the sun. I obviously didn't go as I think it's too sensitive and too soon after our big blow out, but I definitely don't want to get into the habit of not doing things because I'm worried about a reaction. Changed my plans for after work bevvies this Friday for my birthday as well - now going for lunch with work friends and going for dinner with DH. Seemed like a good compromise! I'm back to not drinking again for FW and TWW anyway.

JeNeBaguetteRien · 15/03/2017 14:28

Sorry Bassett, that's rubbish indeed.
I totally understand that feeling.

Have had a little spotting today already, only 10 or 11DPO. I have been having spotting for days in the lead up to AF each month which suggests progesterone levels dipping a bit early :(

Pie I was just reading through the thread, sorry you're having to contend with so much. Have fingers crossed for you and everyone else here.

KittyKat73 · 15/03/2017 13:07

Sorry Basset Flowers This whole process has definitely opened my eyes to how much harder it is to conceive than what i orignally thought. and as Flora Says it does happen and will happen for you and for all of us

florafoxtrot · 15/03/2017 11:54

Basset - I'm with you on the rage, every month when AF shows up I am angry and sad and just gutted. It's totally overwhelming.
Now on CD11 again and I am whole lot better and more positive again. The AF hormones are a bitch for making everything seem worse so you are allowed to have a day of feeling sad and helpless but all you can do is keep trying. It's not that you are doing anything wrong, just that the odds are so stacked against us every month - but we are all here - it does happen and it will happen for you. Flowers

bassetmum · 15/03/2017 11:37

Thanks flora and kaydee. Its really upset me this month the rage I had this morning was unreal. The logical part of me is like you have no control of the process but the emotional side of it is just shot to pieces!! I don't know what else to try really. Sad

That's a really decent LP anyway. I've still got my fingers crossed for you.

bassetmum · 14/03/2017 18:33

florafoxtrot · 14/03/2017 18:04

Crap sorry to hear that Basset. Hopefully just your cervix messing around or something and not AF. How many DPO are you?

bassetmum · 14/03/2017 17:40

Well without being TMI yeah right i did a cm check and there is a pink tint to it and my cp was low, soft and a bit open. Think I am out. Guess we will find out shortly.

Yay flora got to love heating!!!

OP posts:
florafoxtrot · 14/03/2017 13:20

Heating is fixed!! So legs shall be shaved and dtd shall ensue. Took a CB digi OPK this morning and still negative so all is well too.

Hope AF stays away Basset - that would be awesome!

KittyKat73 · 14/03/2017 12:38

Flora Hope you get your hot water and heating soon! im a whimp and would have to just not wash until its fixed i want my showers so hot I cant see it because the rooms soo steamy haha.

Eva FX its something routine but totally understand your frustration im the same if something needs to be done or discussed I rather its done straight away than have to wait.

Basset hope AF Stays away!

bassetmum · 14/03/2017 10:00

Oh no eva. Hopefully its something as simple as the form was filled in wrong. I can understand why he got worried though.

Fx flora you get your heating sorted soon. I am a fan of cold showers when the weather is a wee bit warmer than it is at the moment. Good luck with dtd.

No af this morning so we will see.

Eva30 · 14/03/2017 08:58

Yeah, hope so Kaydee. Just rang and cant get in before we go away so booked in for 27th March - gah, really wanted to know before hols but never mind.

Kaydee2017 · 14/03/2017 07:10

Sorry for the BFN & cycle 12 Eva SadFlowers as for the SA results, they probably just want to go through them properly? Unless you're doing extensive research, the numbers probably don't mean much to most people! Also agree with flora, mistake on their part! Has he got a appointment?

Flora - always DTD Grin hope your heating & got water are fixed today too!!

Hope you & your DH are ok too pyjamas Smile

Eva30 · 14/03/2017 06:23

😂that wouldn't surprise me flora

And me, although it's supposed to be very good for circulation (if you avoid the hypothermia)!

florafoxtrot · 13/03/2017 21:05

Do you know what that sounds like.... Like they forgot to get him to fill in the form the first time around and then couldn't do the test....

They are coming back with a new part tmrw so hopefully it'll get fixed. Definitely no cold showers for me, I would most certainly die.

Eva30 · 13/03/2017 20:51

Oh not good flora - will it get fixed tomorrow? What a nightmare

No, he said he was worried and started asking Doc questions and Doc said he needs to come in and fill in a form (a form, for what?) and take a pot to do another one. So he told Doc he's going on hol. But we're not until next week and I'd rather him do it this week (I'm so impatient Blush). DH said he'll ring to book an appointment in the morning.

florafoxtrot · 13/03/2017 19:42

Still no heating or hot water. To dtd and potentially traumatise DH or not... Hmm

Try not to worry Eva could be nothing at all and it's just the standard practise at your doctor. Did hubby make an appointment?
