Basset there must be something about mondays i managed to fall down my stairs this morning too! ouch Blush

Flora my mum once told me she had to wait a year before she got pregnant with me so that has gave me hope too :)

its CD30 for me no signs of AF or pregnancy so im thinking (hoping!) it will be like my first cycle when i stopped the pill and AF will grace me around CD42 since this is my first cycle after provera. just hope AF doesnt disappear completely like befoe just want normal cycles please! this is difficult enough nevermind erratic cycles! making myself wait until CD50 before i test since im 90% sure I wont be preggers.

florafoxtrot · 10/04/2017 10:27

Sorry for AF Basset and thinking of you lots Loxy

Coastal - my hubby has had the same issue a few times too - not much advice other than to put it back on him to initiate when he feels a bit less stressed and overwhelmed. Mine has now taken to accosting me after he's made dinner or similar as he's taken his mind off it and it seems to work. Tough one though.

I had a chat with my Mum at the weekend and although I've always known that she took a while to conceive me, she confirmed that it was a year and that she had a referral to the fertility clinic when she found out she was pregnant, in some ways this has given me a bit of comfort as perhaps my body operates the same way - not massively fertile but gets there in the end. I really hope so anyway.
In other news, raspberry leaf tea is actually quite nice!
Hope all you other ladies are doing OK. Flowers Biscuit

bassetmum · 10/04/2017 08:43

Coastal. I'm in a similar situation, my OH has got really in his head and is really struggling with dtd. We barely have more than 3-4 dtd a month. Doesn't make af arriving any less hard though.

OP posts:
coastalchick · 10/04/2017 07:51

op still saying high fertility but not had peak yet (clue says ovulation tomorrow so maybe then?). DTD sat but other half didn't finish! I think he may be feeling under pressure as this also happened last time and is only a new thing since I came off the pill. A tad concerned.

Off to my gynae today - had some CN-1 cells lasered off about 2.5 years ago so have to go every 6 months. She will bollock me for putting weight on as last time I was there she said I needed to lose a bit and I've put it on! Though she will be delighted we are now trying.

Not quite sure how to get other half to relax.

coastalchick · 10/04/2017 07:47

so sorry loxy and sorry to hear about your fall basset. Hopefully things will improve shortly x

bassetmum · 10/04/2017 06:58

I am so sorry loxy. Take the time to look after yourself.

Im out af arrived with a vengeance this morning and I managed to partially fall down my stairs this morning. Monday can f--k off right now.

Pyjamas81 · 09/04/2017 08:49

I'm so sorry loxy - there are no words. Take all the time you need and we'll be here for you when you're ready 💐💐

Loxy4527 · 09/04/2017 08:16

Test was negative so I can move on to CD2 cycle 6 now. Kinda relieved. Going to take a break from thinking about it again, so thank you all for your kind words, really meant a lot to me xxx I'll see you all when I'm feeling better

PillowFort · 08/04/2017 18:48

Thank you all for the lovely welcome! Smile

Officially TTC as of DTD last night. It's a weird feeling now we're finally trying after spending so long talking about it. DH has also commented my mood has improved loads today (following a very stressful fortnight at work!).

I'm so sorry to hear that you're having a tough time Loxy. Thinking of you and sending you hugs. Flowers

You're right JeNe, the thread has been very helpful for tips so far!

Pie I'm definitely going to just relax into it and not put pressure on ourselves early on. The main thing is, we're trying and it's an exciting milestone!

Coastal good news about your OPK and I hope all goes well with moving house! We’ve been clearing our attic room today, so I completely understand finding stuff you’d forgotten about. Just need to keep reminding myself that if I forgot about it then I probably don't need it...! Grin

Basset I'm sorry to hear about your headaches. I also get headaches/migraines a day or two before my AF arrives and I know they're rubbish. I'm hoping it's just a poorly timed coincidence for you and AF stays away!

Hoping you're all having a good weekend so far!

florafoxtrot · 08/04/2017 10:41

So sorry you're having a tough time Loxy

Thinking of you xx

Loxy4527 · 08/04/2017 09:56

Thanks ladies, means a lot to me. Bleeding has come back fresh again so I'm not holding out much hope. No pain to speak of so I think I'll just keep an eye on things, test tomorrow or Monday.

Going to have to put a brave face on - seeing my mum in a few hours and then it's my close friend's birthday party. I don't want either of them to know what's happened, they both know we're trying but don't know that we've gotten pregnant yet. I'm going to be expected to drink at this party and right now I'm thinking about doing just that. Nothing crazy but a glass of wine would go down really well later I think.

bassetmum · 08/04/2017 09:28

Oh no loxy. Without keeping your hopes up it could just be a heavy implementation bleed maybe? Hopefully you are doing okay Flowers

I think I'm out got another stonking headache and the rage this morning is unreal.

Good going pie. Im lucky if we do 3 times in a week. I'm sat here most of the time going no point going to the drs as I know the first thing they'll ask is how often do you dtd and we just don't do it enough. My oh hasnt been near me since cd12. 😞

Piehunter · 08/04/2017 09:24

So sorry loxy thinking of you today, glad you have DH with you. Hoping desperately that it's one of those weird early pregnancy bleeds and that all turns out ok for you Flowers

Pyjamas81 · 08/04/2017 08:29

Oh loxy - just checked back in and sorry to hear you're going through all this worry. Hope you're ok and we're here to hold your hand 💐

JeNeBaguetteRien · 08/04/2017 07:37

Oh Loxy, not sure what to say but sending hugs and a hand to hold💐

Loxy4527 · 08/04/2017 07:11

Feeling even more stupid now - the bleeding is easing off. Only very light brown when i wipe now. WTF is going on?!? Going to out to find another test and period supplies when the shops open. If I ever get pregnant I'm going to raise my child to be some kind of doctor/engineer who can make a diagnostics implant for women so you can do read outs like a car.

Loxy4527 · 08/04/2017 06:36

I don't know how to start. I'm just so fucking sad right now.

Started bleeding very late last night. Over the course of the night it's turned into full-on AF style bleed. Now all my pregnancy symptoms are gone. I'm sure I've lost it again. Will take a test tomorrow to confirm but for fuck sake. This is horrible. DH is here holding me and making me tea. I feel stupid and robbed.

Piehunter · 07/04/2017 21:02

coastal I moved last month, threw sooo much stuff away!! Turns out I hoard BlushGrin good luck, it's such an emotional and physical drain.

Loxy for now you are pregnant, you don't want to look back if this bean sticks (FX!!) and wish you'd enjoyed your bfp properly, although I think that's easy for me to say... I totally get being guarded and careful. But maybe allow yourself a bit of time each day to be quietly excited and happy. For now, you are pregnant. Hold onto that Flowers

3 days in a row DTD!! Unreasonably proud, it's been a couple of years since we've done more than 2 days in a row aside from on holidays. DH on a double shift tomorrow so might see if we can make it 4 tonight then FW almost done!

Eva30 · 07/04/2017 10:07

Many congratulations loxy!!
Welcome pillow
coastal congrats on the house move :)

Loxy4527 · 07/04/2017 08:56

I havent seen any new ones, it was hard enough finding them lol. I've calmed down a bit now. Just got to remember that every pregnancy is different and I'm at least doing better than last month :) gonna try to chill out for a few days, will check in with you lovely ladies Monday, enjoy the weekend! Xxxx

florafoxtrot · 07/04/2017 08:44

Congratulations Loxy were those the new curved FRERs that are meant to prevent you from peeing on your hand? I've heard they are less sensitive than the old ones and the CB is very conclusive so try not to worry! Fingers crossed for a happy and healthy 9 months for you! xx

bassetmum · 07/04/2017 08:27

Congratulations loxy. I can see something on both frers and with a positive clearblue digi think you are onto a winner there. Fingers and everything crossed that this is a little sticky bean for you!!!

Loxy4527 · 07/04/2017 08:12

Welcome, Pillow it's great here! As others have said, try to hold off on the obsession for as long as you can manage. There'll be plenty of time for the nitty gritty later, and we'll all be here to help :)

Thank you ladies, I needed that. Don't know what I'd do without you all. I don't think DH knew how to react this time. He's trying to protect me by not getting too excited, I think it'll get to him when things progress a bit more.

Pie yes, they were in a twin pack. DH thought I was mad for getting three tests but I'm very glad I did.

Coastal great news on the opk! Actually ovulating is a good start, haha. Good luck!

coastalchick · 07/04/2017 07:54

oh loxy thats such good news - congratulations!

Love on here how open people are - 3am shagging!!! Good going (don't know where you find the energy!)

I tested again this morning and got flashy smiley face! Ties in with my clue app. Just told other half and he goes "what does that mean" and I said "we need to have sex" and he goes "what, like now, I've got to go to work!". Ha ha, I said it could wait until he gets home tonight. Am quite pleased I even got a flashy face as I had thought I'd not get anything as not in best of health really (though I did manage to run london marathon last year so can't be tooooooo bad!) but though not getting hopes up I guess that's a good sign that I may at least have some hope?

We are now 6 days from move - boxes literally everywhere - finding things we (more I really as most of other half's stuff at his mums as he's only lived here just under 2 years) didn't know we had! Wish we had the energy to be ruthless this end and chuck stuff but where we live, access (and therefore getting rid of rubbish) is really limited whereas in the new house we will actually have a drive we can park the car in and put things straight into the car! So thinking that's a better idea. I do hope the saying new home new baby is true!!

Good luck all of you with your escapades over the weekend - would say I'll be thinking of you but that would be a bit weird Smile
