Okay so af is due tomorrow and I was feeling hopeful until this evening when I started cramping and had pink tinged cm when I wiped so guess I'm out. Again!

So, onto the next cycle. Anyone else? Introduce yourself!

I'm Becki, I'm 27. I'm ttc#2 but I've been pregnant twice. Daughter is 8 (from previous relationship) had to have a termination with my last pregnancy which left me with scarring in my uterus. I'll probably find it hard to conceive, if at all :(

Hope there are a lot of bfp's coming in March!! Smile

Can I join here as well as the March bus too please?
Age 34

Cycle 4 (but we were not preventing two months prior)
CD 3
AF due 10th March

Started temping last month and found I ovulate on cd18
My cycles can range from 28-32 days so I've a feeling I've been missing the exact day but would of been dtd a day either side so Hmm

Feel like I'm obsessing the last two months

Think I'll go to the doctor next month if nothing happens to get ball rolling in tests and also because we want to skip Dec as due date

Have started new multivitamins this month, Swisse Ultivite Pregnancy
I was using centrum pre-pregnancy and seven seas cod liver oil

We don't DTD very often since DD was born but will try for at least eod in fw. The month we conceived DD it was more like twice a day.

MistyBxx · 10/02/2017 09:52

Hey girlies, nothing much to report with me, fw starts on Sunday.
With dtd what does everyone suggest? Every day? Or every other day? I've been doing every day last couple of months but by day 4 we are shattered lol hubs works long late hours. So we've been every day for first 3 days of fw then struggling or completely miss the vital couple of days lol.
I've also heard that every other day gives the swimmers chance to replenish... is this true?

Fell easily with my 2 DS's (age 6 & 4)
Haven't done OPKs just dtd a lot round fertile window. AF pretty regular.
Sending baby dust to you all x

ZEB91 · 09/02/2017 21:26

beaveringaway my OH is exactly the same. He wants it to just happen so I've secretly been tracking and OPKing the past 5 months. I think he knows he just doesn't understand it all hahaGrin

Aggy106 · 09/02/2017 19:01

Hi all,

Can I jump on the train too? I'm new to all this so please bear with me trying to get my head around the old acronyms!

So about me
Age 28
TTC #1

We're trying again following a miscarriage in January at just over 12 weeks. There was no heartbeat on the scan and I had to have surgical management of the miscarriage (I think that's the same as D&C?). Still feeling quite broken and sad but so want our baby...

Anyway, still waiting on AF which I think should have come yesterday, according to the sticks I think I ovulated around 25th Jan but because of everything I think my body is still sorting things out. Does anyone know if there's another reason to wait for a period before trying again following miscarriage, other than for dating purposes?

I've been reading some of the posts and it's good to feel that we're not alone in this. Good luck and love to everyone Smile

NurseJay · 09/02/2017 17:35

Im hoping on!!! Im just new here to not sure what all the abbreviations are just yet lol! We have been "not trying to, but not trying not to" since October 16! It's not happened yet so we actively started in late December! Fingers crossed for March!GrinGrin

allthecheese · 09/02/2017 17:23

ZEB totally makes sense.

Thanks for the replies to my v random qu!

EM - still managed to DTD!

Bubble - I know it's not funny, but your cervix chat made me lol :)

EMHW123 · 09/02/2017 17:03

I can never feel mine! :/ I had a coil fitted years ago and the nurse said mine is really high back and tilted, confirmed at smears when I'm wiggling my vag around so the nurse can swab. 😂🙈 being a woman is so undignified at times!

Tricky bubble! Our bodies trick trick trick us!

Bubblegum89 · 09/02/2017 15:58

WHY IS MY CERVIX AT ITS HIGHEST EVER POSITION THAT IT HAS EVER BEEN IN THE HISTORY OF EVER WHILE I'M ON MY PERIOD?!?! Why isn't it low like it's meant to be?? I've gone being able to touch it relatively easily at a stretch to having to go almost past the third knuckle just to graze past it. I'm worried that I'm broken :(

EMHW123 · 09/02/2017 15:53

cheese did you get down and dirty?! We were in bed early..... fell fast asleep! 😂 jeeze!

Suggested no opks and dtd every second day to my oh last night, he's on board.... this is good news as we both are super busy with work and if I'm honest we only have fun times at the weekend! Ha!

Anyone else exhausted at the thought?!

I had promised myself I'd lose a stone before trying so hopefully I can shift some of that before my next fertile window. DP is conscious of not putting too much pressure on the situation but I cant help myself so will be tracking my cycles in secret Smile

Bubblegum89 · 09/02/2017 15:03

misty I'm on CD30 but af decided to show up while I was in work :( oh well. Here's to next month!

Bubble What day are you on chick?x

Bubblegum89 · 09/02/2017 09:47

Af STILL isn't here. Getting bits of brown cm here and there but nothing that needs a tampon or pad. I just want to get it over and done with and move on to my next cycle!!!

I'm not going to use opks and whatnot next time. I know roughly when my fertile window is and when I ovulate. I think it just stresses you out too much, especially when you're logging your "symptoms" and start to convince yourself you're pregnant Confused

Hello to everyone who has joined, let's hope this a lucky thread!

I use the clearblue fertility monitor, although rather annoyingly it has not given me peak since I used it. It's recognising high days. But no peak. Cycles are fairly regular (20,29,27 last 3 months since removal of mirena). Am at the GP's this morning anyway for non TTC issues, but think I'll mention it to see what she says.

pookypup · 09/02/2017 06:46

ZEB91 · 09/02/2017 06:08

My understanding of TTC is getting to know your body if that by tracking/knowing when your most fertile and Just a general wanting of pregnancy. As me and my boyfriend haven't used protection for a few years we weren't avoiding a pregnancy but we weren't hoping for it either.

I really don't think that makes sense sorry Hmm

MistyBxx · 08/02/2017 23:48

Hey girlies!
Well to me, I always thought ttc was just having lots of sexy time without contraception 😂 back in my happy days lol.
Since I've been on here, in MY head, and totally my opinion only, ttc is tracking your cycle, using opks to add a bit of extra idea and dtd as much as possible around the fertile days! As well as any other time you fancy it!
So for my first couple of months of being off the pill, I consider that I was NTNP which I've only heard of on here and I found out means not trying not preventing.
So if that's the case, I've only been ttc since November.
I have actually been dtd lots without protection since September in the hope a lil sticky bean will appear but I say I've been actively ttc since November partly coz I don't like saying I'm 32 and already been 'trying' for 6 months coz that scares me that it hasn't happened for me yet 😩

Kabex · 08/02/2017 23:25

Af just arrived so it all starts here #3!
To answer a question from above, ttc for me is dtd as often as possible without protection. I do know that I ovulate a few days after my period which is probably quite an unusual time from what I've heard? I conceived dc1 with sex I had on the third day of my period. I do know that sperm can stay alive for a few days to wait for an egg. I always know I'm pregnant as I am irritable and feel like the hormonal preteen I was many years ago

GemXo · 08/02/2017 22:08

I personally don't want to track my ovulation as in use ovulation sticks as if it happens it happens in my eyes (meaning a BFP) I don't want to obsess over my body and when yo have sex and when not to! but obviously each to there own! Me and my partner regularly DTD as in 5-6 times a week, so actively TTC for me is just not using protection haha! Fingers crossed its our month! As 5-6 a week doesn't necessarily mean a BFP! Good luck ladies X

allthecheese · 08/02/2017 21:44

And argghh I need to DTD tonight but DH is still at work!! This is not what I need!

ZEB91 · 08/02/2017 21:40

So I was kicked off the February bus on Sunday and hoping the March train will bring me better luck.

Age:25
TTC: #1
Cycle: 6
BFP due around the 6th of March.

Good luck to all xx

EMHW123 · 08/02/2017 21:31

Thanks bubble think I'm going to have a month of the monitor then if no joy make an appt. your symptoms sound more suspicious!! Got my fx for you.... it well could be ib! SmileSmile

cheese I'm so not doing this every month I'll actually lose my shit and go insane and bankrupt! Hopefully March is our lucky ovulating month never mind bfp ConfusedGrin
