When did you have Spotting. And did you get a negative before the positive. Your test the other day was positive thats a definite maybe ring your docs go see if they can do bloods from what others have said if its retained products think you bleed more on and off. It might be worth testing in a couple of days. What test did you use this time?

user1480930113 · 08/03/2017 08:54

I'm about 15 dpo. I'm tempted to book a Dr's app to see what's going on. I'm worried if it's leftover from the MMC. I'm 4 weeks post surgery...do you think it's too soon?

keeponrunning85 · 08/03/2017 08:16

Congrats fluff! I hope the chat with DP goes better than you're expecting.

WLMcI I'll pass on the yoga thanks but I have managed to drag myself on a run this morning.

fluffiny31 · 08/03/2017 07:59

Wlmcl not sure about yoga. But it might do me some good. Thanks sock not sure my dp will agree with you.

fluffiny31 · 08/03/2017 07:57

Thanks wlmcl dreading the talk. I'm hoping he wakes up before i go out. Thanks user thats really confusing isn't it. How many dpo are you? My surgery was 5 weeks ago so I'm one week behind my normal. That was definitely a positive test you had.

theotherendofthesockportal · 08/03/2017 07:57

Congratulations fluff, excellent news to start the day

user1480930113 · 08/03/2017 07:44

Massive congrats fluff don't be worried perhaps this is meant to be and like others have said It does take two to tango!

I took a cheapie test today and got a negative so not sure what was is going on. AF has still not arrived in full force, I'm thinking I have confused my spotting for AF. It's my first after erpc so not sure what to expect? Anyone else had a really light AF after erpc? X

WLMcI · 08/03/2017 07:09

fluff congratulations on the bfp! Mild cramps (at least mild for me) around the time AF was due were my early pg symptom last time (until the start of week 5, when my boobs suddenly got sore and ballooned.) It's a head melt that so many of the symptoms of AF are also symptoms of PG, why does our body do this?!?! Good luck with the conversation today.

AGnu I wouldn't worry or second-guess him. Men generally say what they mean so if he says he'll be happy if it happens by chance, he means it :) When are you going to test?

Moring all, anyone joining me for some early yoga? Ommmm... Grin

fluffiny31 · 07/03/2017 21:53

agnu i think my dp will be hoping it doesn't stick when I tell him tomo i really want to tell him tonight but can't do it by phone. Thanks guys. It's the cramping that's worrying me miami that's not normal is it?
sock hope everything goes well tomo and let us know how you get on.

Miami81 · 07/03/2017 21:06

Sorry Agnu just read your post again. Sorry I thought you had already tested. Best of luck with it.

Best of luck Agnu
Today you are pregnant. Just take it one day at a time. Congratulations.

Miami81 · 07/03/2017 20:58

Congrats fluffy. Best tell him soon. And it takes two to tango or whatever so hopefully he acknowledges that quickly and can be supportive for you.
Not sure on extra monitoring. As there is so little they can do to make them stick, I think they generally do very little until 12wks.
Def try and get a reassurance scan at your epu if you can? They told me next time to come to them at 8.5wks.

keepon, I definitely know that frustration! DH works shifts which can play havoc with TTC. I tell him to just do it when he comes in, even if I'm half asleep Grin. He says he feels like I just use him as a stud at times - he is correct Grin.

AGnu, keeping fx for you.

fluff, congratulations! Hope DP is happy too. If not, I'm sure he'll come round. Whatever happens, he can't make you get rid of it Flowers.

Got my GP appointment tomorrow, wish me luck. Needless to say, still bleeding....

fluffiny31 · 07/03/2017 20:47

Petrified claire I've had cramps on and off all day. It was a fluke to as i thought i ov on sun but must of been the tues exactly 2 weeks today but like my last pregnancy symptoms are minimal where as with my dd i had it all really early. And as for dp i think he'll go mad. He's not home from work till tomo and don't fancy telling him over the phone either will i get monitored any different does anyone know my pregnancies are already high risk because of my dd but only had one mmc so far. Please let it stick. This could be my last chance.

88claire · 07/03/2017 20:33

Wow *fluffiny
*
First of all congratulations. How do you feel about it?

I really hope your DH responds well but it might take him time to come round to the idea. Tell him sooner rather than later or you will worry.

Fx for you and again congratulations!! Smile

fluffiny31 · 07/03/2017 20:23

I thought af should of been coming today I've had quite a lot of cramps. Dp decided last week he didn't want another. Now what how do i tell him. I'm so happy but so scared what if it doesn't stick what will my dp say. Will he try and make me get rid of it?

Ttc after miscarriage thread #8
AGnu · 07/03/2017 18:44

Hello all! I was around on these threads about 8 months ago after one v early miscarriage. I went on to have a second the following month & gave up trying for DC3 because I couldn't deal with it. Today would've been my due date the first time & I'm pretty sure I'm pregnant again. I'm only on CD24 but every other pregnancy has had symptoms from CD21 & I've been feeling queasy & dizzy for days now. Until today I was cautiously optimistic about this time but this afternoon I've felt really down & am now convinced that this one won't stick. My only "evidence" for this conclusion is that I only had about an hour of symptoms on CD21 with my pregnancies that resulted in DC but felt ill from CD21 until I started bleeding with the 2 that ended. I've been feeling dodgy for days, therefore it's not going to happen. Hmm

We weren't even trying this time & DH doesn't really want any more DC, although he insists he'd love any that came along. He totally doesn't get how I'm feeling & there's probably a part of him that would be relieved if it didn't stick. I feel like this is my last chance tbh - if it doesn't work out this time then DH will probably be keen to be a bit more focussed on contraception so it can't happen without us actively trying & he's pretty set on not doing that!

My head's a mess today! Sad

Miami81 · 07/03/2017 18:18

Keepon
I know that stress. Really annoying when they can't man up as such!! Or aren't even in the right place at the right time. Makes me VERY mean and not proud of myself.

keeponrunning85 · 07/03/2017 17:49

Fingers crossed AF stays away user and it was implantation causing your symptoms.

Anne how are you getting on.

socks I'm glad your letter has been taken notice of and you enjoyed your dance class. I hope you're feeling a bit better today.

Not much to report here other than I'm desperately trying not to feel cross with DH. I'm coming into my fertile week and he's feeling ill again, exactly the same as last month. Then he's off to London for work tomorrow morning until Friday and the my parents are coming up for the weekend. Feel like I should just write this month off now!

user1480930113 · 07/03/2017 17:21

Well AF didn't actually show up so I'm even more miffed now. Just on off spotting varying from pink to brown most of the day. Going to hold off until the weekend now as I'm driving myself mad with all this testing.

Hope everyone is OK x

theotherendofthesockportal · 07/03/2017 13:01

Hello ladies,

Thank you to everyone who has asked after me today. I do feel better today, my letter has had the desired effect as the practice manager phoned me back today and has booked me an appointment with a doctor who she feels will be more sympathetic towards me.

And the dance class was fab it's called Bhangra Blaze and is the most insane class I've ever been to. I had a chat to the instructor to ask if I can continue if I become pregnant and she said yes, just to do what I felt I could do. Then she said she hopes all the energetic dancing would encourage my blood flow and help me become pregnant.

emsler · 07/03/2017 11:25

Oh user I'm so sorry, that's gutting. It really looked like a BFP to me. sock, hope you're feeling a little better today - hopefully writing the letter will have helped you express some of your feelings and start healing. zyla, my cycle after my ERPC was much shorter than normal - personally I didn't start properly tracking until after my first AF. Anne, I'm so impressed at your restraint! Just starting the 2WW myself so please remind me of my admiration for your resolve when I'm umm-ing and ahh-ing about testing early in ten days time!

AnneLovesGilbert · 07/03/2017 11:14

Bloody hell user, really? Have you had a bfn on a normal two liner? If not it could definitely just be spotting. Shit, so sorry if this is af Sad

Ages to go still amanda don't give up till af is here.

AmandaP86x · 07/03/2017 10:37

Just done a test 6 days early and it's a BFN!! Trying not to get too disheartened but think af is defo on way

user1480930113 · 07/03/2017 10:31

Looks like AF is showing up...gutted as I really thought that was a positive I had at the weekend. Ah well at least I'm going into a fresh month for TTC.
