Enjoy your week emily, nothing like proper time together, reading, walking, cooking, eating, drinking (maybe?), shagging, sleeping, chatting. Lovely. I'm pea green! Is it the Mull of the song?

Had an absolutely exhausting few days with the DSC over half term, my god they're tiring, and now back at work and already had 2 annoying meetings.

Trying to focus on being healthy and relaxed, healthy and relaxed.... Lots of fruit and veggies, lunchtime walks, loads of water, remembering to breathe well, early nights. Really desperately need to get back on the yoga too.

emily86 · 20/02/2017 10:49

Bisquick I am so sorry for your loss. I cannot imagine what you have been/are going through. I do hope you find some of the support you need here.

Gosh! Sounds like everyone is doing well on the DTD front. DH and I have come to Mull for a week to get away from everything. The weather is pretty crappy so lots of DTD opportunity but I think I ovulated earlier last week. I am having one of those months where I'm convinced we're going to be succesful however, it is most likely going to end in disappointment. AF isn't even due for another 11 days! ARGH!

WLMcI I hope you enjoy your pamper sesh.

Waterfeature · 20/02/2017 10:46

Seconded on dreamy Gilbert.

AnneLovesGilbert · 20/02/2017 10:44

Thanks WLMcI Grin He was my first love.

Ooh, enjoy your hair appointment! Haven't had mine done properly since August. DH trimmed my fringe last night though.

WLMcI · 20/02/2017 10:25

Good morning all, sounds like some of you may have been ehem up-and-at-'im already so you're well ahead of me in accomplishments today! Grin Completely off-topic, but AnnelovesGilbert, I

AnneLovesGilbert · 20/02/2017 09:55

Morning everyone. I'm so terribly sorry for your loss Bisquick.

I'm in my fertile week, I think. What I thought was ovulating so soon after the last mc can't have been so I'm on CM and cervix watch this week, DTD every day and cracked open the baby lube again.

Buddah I can't believe how awful and disappointing your RMC apt was, I know how much you'd been looking forward to getting some answers and it's appalling you've been treated so badly and fobbed off. 10 weeks is BS. Is there anyone you can hassle to be seen sooner?

You're a braver woman than I sock. Massively proud of you for going to the shower and keeping it all together Flowers I've always loved a baby shower but pretty sure I couldn't do it now. Not when things are still so painful and raw.

How are you doing crazy? We're all in your corner!

Is anyone testing this week? Please can we have some good news soon Smile

swimchick1980 · 20/02/2017 09:51

*need not bed.....Wink

swimchick1980 · 20/02/2017 09:50

Haha, luckily DC is a lazy bones! Not helpful for trying to get her to nursery in the morning, but it has its benefits Wink.

DH working weird shifts this week so bed to try and take advantage today....

Waterfeature · 20/02/2017 09:40

Ooh, swimchick!

No early morning activity for us because DC are awake before us... We are now ignoring the "every other night" advice too. Another dazed but happy DH here...!

swimchick1980 · 20/02/2017 08:08

My cheapo internet OPK was positive today so I've already jumped on DH once and plan to again later!

I had always thought that you should only do it every couple of days, particularly as DH has a low sperm count but when we went to the IVF clinic before MC or doctor said the more the better as it means the sperm keeps reproducing and is newer and stronger. DH didn't need to be told twice Grin

swimchick1980 · 20/02/2017 08:02

bisquick, I'm so sorry Flowers. Counselling definitely sounds like a good idea and particularly if you have someone you have already used and trust. Take the time you need and be kind to yourself. One of my ante natal friends has a some everyone the year before we had our DCs - a still birth at 38 weeks in her first pregnancy. She got pregnant again within 3 months - she was 40 at the time so I think she felt she has to but I suspect if not she would have left it a bit longer to help process and deal with what had happened.

fluffiny31 · 19/02/2017 22:55

Bisquick be kind to your self. Talking will definitely help I'm sending you hugs and Flowers as unfortunately words fail to express my sadness for you. Life is cruel xx

Waterfeature · 19/02/2017 22:33

So very sorry bisquick. Words are really not enough.

Bisquick · 19/02/2017 22:29

Thank you ladies. Slowly reading the thread and catching up with everyone's stories.

We haven't had a consultant appointment yet at the hospital. Another few weeks to go before my six week check with my GP. I also had a higher BMI at the start of the previous pregnancy, so was overweight and still am. Want to lose 6-7 kilos ideally before trying again. But will need to wait for abdominal muscles to knit back together before starting exercise.

And yes I think counselling will help too. Hoping to see a therapist this week privately. We were offered counselling via the hospital but I'd rather go back to someone I used to go to several years ago who was helpful then. debated it for a while but finally just emailed him for an appointment because I can tell I'm struggling at the moment.

lightgreenglass · 19/02/2017 21:41

bisquick I'm so sorry for your loss, that must have been devastating and I can't comprehend myself how traumatic that must have been for you. Counselling definitely sounds like a good idea, I'm not sure of waiting times, would you be able to pay privately?

harrietm87 · 19/02/2017 18:36

bisquick so so sorry. Thinking of you.

fluffiny31 · 19/02/2017 18:19

My gosh bisquick I'm so sorry for your loss. My friend had to terminate her pregnancy at 23 weeks due to major complications with baby she gave birth naturally she also had complications with that too. I'm sure she's been advised to wait 3 months for the fact of giving birth but so far she has decided to wait longer. I know it's still classed as an earlyish MC or whatever it's called when it's medical. Did the doc say anything about trying again?
Thanks miami good to know I might not be going mad Grin it just really confused me I know you can ovulate twice but it's rare just threw me out totally.

Water that is exactly the same as me my pains only come for about an hour ish on what ever side I ovulate from. I never really noticed it until I got pregnant first time and I was confused why I only had cramps for an hour when they normally last 2half weeks ever since I've just known when I ov sock you were very brave. Hats off to you. Although I'm happy for others I really am I think why me and I also randomly cry at pregnant women or newborns. I remember when a girl at work lost her baby at 18w found out at 20w she came in to work and one of the women was really excited I was pregnant and being very over joyed I was just quiet then my friend walked in I felt awful she just wanted to get on with work and everyone didn't mention it to her then she had me stood there all fat. I felt so guilty. In the end I went to her gave her a cuddle and said sorry and had a little chat it's awful because you don't know what to say but I couldn't just say Hi and ignore her the rest of the day. Sorry for rambling on my mind is on overtime.

Bisquick · 19/02/2017 17:34

Hello ladies, sorry to be joining you on here (ykwim) but thought it would be nice to have some support and share with others. Esp as in real life I'm surrounded by either new mums or those who aren't TTC so have no idea what it's like.

We aren't TTC yet. I had a stillbirth at 37 w a few weeks ago. Anyone tried conceiving after a stillbirth or late miscarriage? How long did you wait? Currently am 3 weeks postpartum and so desperate to try again. But my body is just not in a position to cooperate - think I will need at least a few months to recover.

This pregnancy was our first and conceiving was relatively easy - tried for 3 cycles with OPKs before getting the BFP. And no idea what went wrong - the post mortem said nothing was wrong with the baby and the pregnancy was classed as low-risk. While that is hard to process, I'm trying to take comfort from the fact that hopefully this means we can try again and it shouldn't happen again.

Waterfeature · 19/02/2017 17:05

Sock very brave of you. I don't think I could have gone.

Waterfeature · 19/02/2017 17:04

fluffy just seen your post. I've never noticed Ov pain but (sorry for TMI) I had tons of EWCM a few days ago but only ovulated today according to the monitor. I'm assuming things get a bit out of kilter hormonally.

Miami81 · 19/02/2017 17:02

Sock
Well done for going to baby shower.

Waterfeature · 19/02/2017 17:02

Fx for you crazy.

Welcome, and sorry you find yourself here, orange.

Very frustrating for you Bertie.

Big excitement here as I got an ovulation sign from the thingy. I've never got on with OPK before (tried the cheap ones and apparently never ovulated, although I did get pg!!). I'm pleased to say that we made the most of it in advance (last night) so who knows...! My CM is all over the place so it's really reassuring to know I ovulated (day 19 after ERPC).

Miami81 · 19/02/2017 17:00

Fluffy
My ov pains and cm are slightly out of sync since mc (they were after the first mc as well). Think it is just a hormonal thing. As soon as mine synced up again we fell for the second time. I am going to acupuncture to try and get it sorted. I started checking my cervical position as well and it was in line with the ov pains. And temp rises.
Anyway I am sure you will be grand after first cycle.

Today was tough, I went to a close friends baby shower. I was looking at her wishing that it was me with the big bump looking forward to the imminent arrival.

I definitely wouldn't want a baby shower though, I hate being the centre of attention!

fluffiny31 · 19/02/2017 15:16

Hello to all you new ladies sorry you are here too.
crazy not too long to wait now until after is due.

I have a question I thought I ov. On Friday due to dramatic change in cm but today I had my ov pains which I don't always get but do most of the time. But I. Normally get change in cm and pains together never separate is this normal for others or could it just be because of mmc? It's not a big deal but really strange for me. I don't monitor what days I ov on normally but I know the day I do by symptoms. Just umming and ahhing if I am ov today if I should start ttc or still wait for first af.
