swimchick I stopped bleeding after 2 weeks and had a negative test 3 weeks after medical management. I was then waiting for my first AF to show up and did a test to see if I could have a glass of wine at the weekend. It came back positive but then I had cramping and bleeding the next day. I assumed it was a chemical but I went to the recurrent miscarriage clinic a few days later and the consultant scanned me and said it looked like retained products. She said the hcg can drop and then rebound back up occasionally. Fortunately everything came away on it's own and I just went back to EPU a couple of times for blood tests and one further scan which showed everything was clear. I think if you're worried just give them a ring and see what they say.

Sorry crazy, what a rollercoaster you've had the past week or so. Still keeping my fingers crossed for you.

Welcome to the new joiners, sorry you find yourself here. It is a lovely group though and very supportive.

keeponrunning and any others who discovered later that all was not good, how did you know? Did you stop bleeding initially? I've mentioned that i got bleeding (probably medium flow AF style) 4 dpo or so and it's been going for 4 days now but is getting lighter. Not sure if this is just an early AF and everything trying to get back to normal or something i should get checked out. My MC bleed stopped naturally after 6 days and i haven't had any scans.

I am absolutely shattered and this morning i am feeling pretty sick. I KNOW it's just being tired and the fact I haven't had breakfast yet. It's so hard not to get hopes up and symptom spot though isn't it Hmm

I have had such a strange start to the day. I had to go to my doctors for my b12 injection, which I have to have every 12 weeks. The nurse who administered the injection asked how I was doing and I just broke down.

I told her how I felt I had been badly treated by the hospital when I had my mmc in January and how desperate I am to be pregnant again. She was so lovely to me and said she thinks that my doctors may have a pre-conception clinic and she is going to find some information for me.

I'm feeling so down that I've come home instead of going to work. Going to have a cry then pick myself up and go back to work. I feel so sad as last week was supposed to be my fertile week and I used opks but they never gave me a positive. I feel like I am going to be babyless forever

Hi all,
I've literally spent 2 days going through this feed and it's been so helpful. I had a very early MC on the 3rd of Feb. Initially it was suspected ectopic as my hcg was so high but I'm out of the danger zone it seems now. Im still showing to be pregnant however my epu told me to go back there if I'm showing to be pregnant still by this Friday. Looks like I will be!! Has anyone else had this issue of raised hcg for so long?
From reading all your messages I completely resonate with everyone's journey on when to ttc again. I also go through the constant battle of my body being useless but have to find some hope in the future. Unfortunately for me I also lost my dear mum to cancer last June so the ttc journey has been really tough. This MC has definetly taken me back some steps in the grief process. I'm now at a place where I want a baby to give me hope and something to look forward to although I'm also scared to ttc straight away in case my body can't deal with it. I've been having acupuncture and doing anything to chill out. Has anybody been in a similar situation and have advice on how to get through this? Xx

Crazyvaperlady · 28/02/2017 07:39

Well ladies I have woken up this morning to very thin, watery bleeding :( guessing this isn't a good sign.

fluffiny31 · 27/02/2017 23:17

Anne thanks for the info I'd probably get it all wrong and not feel the right bits knowing me.
Sorry all you new ladies are here.
Crazy how confusing hoping that silly test is wrong.
Well I should be 16 w today had a few tears and should of been at the midwife Friday. Getting a bit stressed. Going back to work this week but I'm dreading it i do an emotional job and there are loads of staff pregnant due weeks around my due date i am so anxious I'll just cry.

emily86 is now defunct and from now on I shall be writing under this name.

emily86 · 27/02/2017 22:33

The thread has been busy this evening.

Welcome to all the new ladies. I'm sorry for your losses and that you've had to join us.

Oh crazy, what a confusing place to be in. I'm not really sure what to suggest.

I've been considering a name change for a while now and I think now is the time. Will report back in a min once new name has been selected.

88claire · 27/02/2017 22:04

Sorry *crazy

My digital took ages to go positive even with a decent line on a FRER but it then progressed weekly and I just got my 3+.

So please don't lose hope yet, a line is a line Smile

Ty user fingers crossed this one sticks! 2 days late for af and just sent OH up to our local lloyds for digital tests as I can't wait any longer, and have a horrible recurring nightmare that this pregnancy may be a chemical :/ will update very very shortly

WLMcI · 27/02/2017 21:13

ZylaB and Peony I'm sorry you find yourself here; however, it is just the place if you're looking for support! We're all at different stages in our post-mc journey, which is helpful. Take your own time with it all! Flowers

user1480930113 · 27/02/2017 21:13

crazy I missed your positive...GrinFlowers congratulations!!! You are hope for us all. X

WLMcI · 27/02/2017 21:06

Emily1875 I'm so sorry that you're suffering that way. You are certainly not alone, as this board is evidence! I know it feels like years since November--time passes so slowly when you're counting every day. Have you had any counselling following your mc? It might help with the feelings of hopelessness and frustration you're describing. I had a difficult time with a psychological problem that meant I had no chance of conceiving, and the counselling (I went to Relate) got us there in the end. Your mind is a very powerful thing; you want it to work with you not against you! X

Peony24 · 27/02/2017 21:00

Hi everyone, can I join?
I've just found this thread and some support would be great.
Found out I'd had an MMC at my 12 week scan on 6th Feb. Opted for medical management and miscarried on the 9th, I should have been 12+5.
After bleeding for just over a week and spotting for another week - eventually had a couple of days spotting free!
Finally thought my body was getting back to normal but today had what looked like lots of EWCM but slightly brown (sorry TMI)
I don't know what to think...!
Flowers to all

Crazyvaperlady · 27/02/2017 20:59

zyla I don't want to come across as insensitive, but if it gives u any hope, I had a MC between 26-28th last month, stopped bleeding on 31st, got a negative test on 6th Feb and I got my BFP on Thursday just gone :) it can be done if you feel you'd like to try again right away!

user1480930113 · 27/02/2017 20:46

zyla sorry you are going through this...I had an erpc 3 weeks ago today. I only bled for 2 days and felt well enough to to back to work after taking one day off. Emotionally it's a different story. Keeping positive though and sending hugs Flowers

ZylaB · 27/02/2017 20:44

Hey Buddah the surgical management was actually ok and I'm not even bleeding much today. I had th choice and didn't want to do it at home again, I didn't want to be waiting to start bleeding whilst running around after my toddler.

Buddah101 · 27/02/2017 20:41

user i think you go to your account/profile. its in there somewhere.

Hi zyla sorry you've found yourself here. I've not had any procedures (mine have all passed naturally) but I know a few people on here have so it may help to talk, I do however completely understand the time pressure though, its more that than anything else that makes me stressed.

ZylaB · 27/02/2017 20:41

Oh, should add...this baby is having the genetic testing. They normally don't do that until third consecutive mc but took pity on me because of age (will be 40 later this year) so we will see what that says, but a bit of me wonders if we should crack on a see if the 'more fertile after a mc' thing can help us, as it took 8 or 9 months last time.
Also, we can't just let things happen if they're going to, as due to the diabetes we have to plan really carefully and I have to keep my sugars really tightly controlled (which they are and I've been told had nothing to do with losing my babies) and have to keep taking super strength folic acid, so we can't leave things to chance.

Buddah101 · 27/02/2017 20:39

user Im sorry, I do know how it feels, I have 1 friend who is currently pregnant and has delighted in complaining about every little thing, I do bite my tongue from screaming at her that id give anything to feel what she's feeling, But anne put it in a much better way than I ever could, they are having their babies, and we will have ours. they will be completely different pregnancies and babies at the end and I wouldnt want anyone elses, I just want my own. rant away here though if it helps.

Sorry I've got mixed up with both the emily's!

turquoise not used the clearblue hormone monitor, what does that do exactly? I only ever used the ov sticks and to be honest got very bored of having to wait 5 whole minutes for it to work. dp would be banging on the door of the bathroom as he was often late for work and Id happily be sitting staring at a stick waiting for a smiley face, so went back to the cheapies.

ZylaB · 27/02/2017 20:37

Hi, hope I can join, though I'm sorry anyone is in this situation.

I've just had my second mc. We have a two year old daughter.
First mc was in May last year, I was 8.5 weeks when I started bleed, had had a scan at six weeks and seen a heartbeat, had another scan after start of bleed and was told baby looked ok, just cross everything the bleed doesn't get any bigger, then passed the baby at home the next day. We took it to EPU and they sorted out the cremation which was nice and respectful.

Got pregnant again at the very start of Jan, again saw heartbeat at six weeks. I'm diabetic so they always check viability when starting appointments. They organised a scan at nine weeks to reassure me after the last mc, and there was no heartbeat and baby was measuring eight weeks.

I had ERPC yesterday.

I don't even know if I can face trying again, I'm old and feeling time pressure though.
