I think that's my major worry about jumping right in. My previous period before pregnancy was really light and long so I'm a tad worried I might need to get my cycle a bit better and have been lining to help implantation. Waiting game is rubbish though.

user1480930113 · 28/02/2017 13:52

I'm jumping straight back on the band wagon so to speak although I think I ovulated last week. I only thought you had to wait for dating purposes I didn't think of the lining etc x

fluffiny31 · 28/02/2017 13:31

Beardy i got told to wait for af just for dating purposes of your next pregnancy.

MulderitsmeX · 28/02/2017 13:18

Ah peony I heard that too. If you're in London please do let me know where you went.

Re raspberry tea do research when to drink/how it works etc as you can't drink it after ovulation.

I'm gonna try after first AF, IMO my body needed to grow and shed a lining before putting an egg into there. Next week is my first lot of trying so hopefully the stories about being most fertile after MC are true.

I might go back to accu hopefully will be preggers soon though so won't need it!!!

Peony24 · 28/02/2017 13:14

I've heard reflexology can be good for fertility. There are a few places that do reflexology for fertility and pregnancy so worth a try? I had it the month I got pregnant so don't know if it was coincident or not?!?

Beardy1 · 28/02/2017 12:58

Thanks for all the tips. I'll definetly try the raspberry tea.
There doesn't seem to be much clinical evidence for acupuncture as you said but I see a specialised Chinese doctor and she's the first person to actually ask some proper questions and learn about my journey. I'm gonna stay with it a bit longer as it helped regulate my periods quickly after all the strsss last year. Is everyone on here ttc straight away or waiting till after af? I've been told different things from after 1 month to 3 months although I can't find any research about it.

MulderitsmeX · 28/02/2017 12:45

beardy and amanda I was also late for AF and do kind of feel accupuncture may have had something to do with it. I have had 3 sessions every other week but really have felt no benefit. I've seen research that it can help with IVF but not so much actual evidence on fertility. I did feel super relaxed after the first one.

My friend had IVF and accupuncture helped loads with it, I've also had it for a sports injury which worked really well so I think it must just be the area/timing/body/practitioner.

You can but try but I think I would recommend waiting until 2 months after MC so your body isn't being overloaded with all the interference. If you're on London I can recommend thr place my friend went? DM me Smile

What I have found helped was raspberry leaf tea (making Dh drink too) and one oil of evening primrose tablet every day. Have stopped with vitamin d and folic acid to rest my poor body!! Also if your period doesn't come properly on time I had a nurse do a swab (for something else) and that actually started it. Obvs the blood was there already but think my body needed a little kick start.

There's also fertility yoga on youtube that you can try.

Crazyvaperlady · 28/02/2017 12:44

Anne it does but I guess there's nothing I can do about it. If it's going to happen it will, and I'm really not helping myself with the constant "am I, aren't I" inner monologue and stressing. Hoping everyone else is well!

AmandaP86x · 28/02/2017 12:28

Ano it's brutal. I was considering acupuncture too???

I feel like I have kinda cramp today but AF another 2 weeks away.

Just feel so confused on these ovualtion kits

Beardy1 · 28/02/2017 12:09

Also told to go into epu for a blood test today as I'm over 2 weeks since early Mc and still positive. Got there and they told me to wait another 4 days to do a blood test and decided to not do one. its crasy to still be having positive pregnancy tests after this long. Why won't they test me. Grrrrrrr!!

Beardy1 · 28/02/2017 12:05

Mulder that's interesting what you say about acupuncture. I've been having mine and had no bleeding at all. I'm still waiting for my first af to turn up. Did you find any positive effects from it?

MulderitsmeX · 28/02/2017 11:49

Oh amanda that's shit so sorry for you xxx

Ps update - I mentioned on this thread last week that I was having weird stingy pains, I think this was caused by accupuncture! I had some more accu on Sat and the weird pains came again so am stopping accu. I know it works for some people but would just like to put it out there in case anyone else is having the same. I think my body is just not ready for it atm.

Buddah101 · 28/02/2017 11:31

otherendofthesock I hope you're feeling a bit better after a good cry, nothing better to let it all out and fingers crossed your gp has some info regarding the pre conception clinic.

crazy fingers crossed for you.

Waterfeature · 28/02/2017 10:45

Much sympathy crazy.

Congrats to glass, fab news!

AnneLovesGilbert · 28/02/2017 10:35

Oh crazy. It sucks.

I hid my ttc and pregnancy apps inside a folder on my phone so I didn't lose all my info and settings but didn't have to see them.

Take all the pain meds you need and try and rest when you can. Sleep is the best when you're feeling sore and miserable.

Crazyvaperlady · 28/02/2017 10:24

I've had back pain for a few days. Few tummy cramps too :( think I'm gonna delete my fertility apps, stop trying and just let things happen naturally, I'm sick of the TTC obsession, it's going to make me ill if I carry on

AmandaP86x · 28/02/2017 10:12

Hi girls just trying to catch up. Hope you are all well.

I am on cycle 3 since my MMC in October.

Using the clearblue kits. Got a LOW Friday LOW Saturday HIGH Sunday night then a LOW Monday morning and low today. On CD 21 don't know whether to continue to use them then now? Don't know if I have missed the boat. I thought u were fertile for 24-48 hours.

Had quite a lot of left sided pelvic pain all last week as if I was ovulating but all tests low fertility.

Had a meltdown yesterday work mate phone to tell me she's 12 weeks and then my clear blue said low fertility and it made my cry 🙈 What's wrong with me!! I was just post nightshift so I blamed that!!

Keep thinking I would have been 28 weeks now 😭

swimchick1980 · 28/02/2017 09:59

crazy, Anne is right - I had bleeding at the start of both my pregnancies (one successful, one not). It never came to much - was like a very light period.

AnneLovesGilbert · 28/02/2017 09:45

God I was well behind, my page hadn't refreshed, so much has happened!

sock I'm a fellow B12er. Had my latest jab last night. I go every 10 weeks so it's possible to have them closer together if you need. Sorry you're having such a shit time Sad

lightgreenglass Congratulations!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Very gentle reassuring hugs to you darling, you've brightened up my morning Grin One day at a time, one day at a time....

crazy It's a fucking rollercoaster isn't it, so so sorry you're having such a confusing awful up and down time of it Flowers

Have you had any pain, or just thin blood? I've never bled while pregnant but some people do it loads, off and on throughout. If it's only light and you don't have back pain or cramps you never know?

Feeling for everyone today, sending love x

Beardy1 · 28/02/2017 09:33

Lightgreengrass amazing news. Congrats!!!

swimchick1980 · 28/02/2017 09:23

Congratulations lightgreen Grin

swimchick1980 · 28/02/2017 09:20

Thanks keeponrunning, I'll try and call. I tried at the time I was having my MC what seemed like a million times, but could never get through. Hopefully will have more luck this time.......

AnneLovesGilbert · 28/02/2017 09:19

So sorry for your loss Zyla, but welcome. I had an MVA (like an ERPC) for a MMC in November and I stopped bleeding really quickly afterwards and got a bfn 10 days later, then af arrived 28 days after the procedure and everything settled down for me.

It's good you're getting tests done. I had them from mine, we found out the sex and that there wasn't anything wrong. Which was a mixed bag for us but I'm under the recurrent miscarriage clinic now.

Everyone feels differently but we waited a month while I had the MMR jab it turned out I'd missed then ttc again. I got pregnant straight away but have had another early mc. A lot of people subscribe to being more fertile straight away, and an equal number find it massively annoying and stressful because of course it doesn't happen for everyone.

We ttc for 7 months and since I got my first bfp I've conceived every tome we've tried since. But I keep losing them, so it's cold comfort!

Wishing you luck and hope you're feeling better soon Flowers

lightgreenglass · 28/02/2017 09:18

Shitting myself about a chemical or miscarrying again. I know I won't feel remotely 'safe' until I get to my 16 week appointment.

lightgreenglass · 28/02/2017 09:17

So my AF symptoms were pregnancy symptoms and I got a BFP this morning on a FRER.

Crazy keeping my fingers crossed for you - I've never used a digital and always used a FRER. Maybe test on a FRER again and see if the line has got any darker?
