I couldn't see a March bus yet so I thought I'd get it going for all us early birds Grin

Here are my stats:

Age: 22
TTC: #2
BFP due: March 3rd

It's technically cycle 3 but we took last month off after cycle 1 resulted in chemical pregnancy :( so I'm eager to get on with it Grin

Anyone else joining me nice and ridiculously early on the March bus?

so I am on Cd15 waiting for peak ovulation on an opk..so desperate for a wee on my way home from work but thinking I needed it to do a test I lost all dignity and have weed in a small water bottle in a sainsburys loo!!
Seriously classy.
Currently waiting to pick up dd from rainbows with a bottle of warm piss in my handbag!! Jesus this ttc lark is not doing my street cred any good!!

jennibub27 · 20/02/2017 18:22

I don't know, I've been using the pill for a couple of years which completely stopped my periods - before that, I had the implant which had the same effect. And before that (about 8 years ago), I wasn't regular ... I'm hoping it will be a normal 28 day cycle but I'm hoping I won't have to find out!

Foggymist · 20/02/2017 17:53

Jennibub when is your period due?

jennibub27 · 20/02/2017 15:58

Hey - literally just signed up :) I don't understand all the abbreviations, is there a list somewhere I can refer to?

I'm 26, and trying to conceive (ttc, I guessed that one!) my first baby!

I came off the pill on 31 Dec, had a light bleed and then a regular(?) period on 31st Jan. I've been getting cramping and aches for a day or two... How soon can I take a test?!

Hi hope it's ok to join?

Stats are:

Age: 26
TTC: #2 since January
AF due: 06/03

DD is 13months. Last time it took almost a year to fall with her so I am preparing myself for a long journey. However I had come off Depo last time so hoping that was the main cause for the time it took us. This time I am breastfeeding (periods returned in December) so no idea I am ovulating.

Cookie1831 · 20/02/2017 14:52

Hoping 22 is your lucky number mimi

FlipKat · 20/02/2017 14:32

Badgers and MissMango - hello! Just to say I'm in a similar boat. I will turn 38 in a few weeks and TTC#1 with partner who is older than me (48). Really worried it is not going to happen, especially as he is an athlete and is gearing up his training for a big event in a few months time.....even now he is training for about 14 hours a week (it will get worse Shock) which I suspect won't be doing his sperm count much good!!

Am currently cycle 1 off mini-pill, CD21 today, no sign of ovulation on OPK, and no withdrawal bleed/AF yet. Feeling impatient but I guess it is very early days.

Mimilicious013 · 20/02/2017 12:57

Hie all
Name;mimi
Age;36
Cycle;22 Sad
Cd8
Af due 10/03
I had fallen off the buses after trying so long but I can't throw the towel in just yet. Sorry to all who just got Af and who been ttc for a while and best of luck to us all

emsler · 20/02/2017 11:54

Hopping on...

32
TTC
Cycle 5 since MMC in October
CD 3
Testing 19th March

I was convinced this was our cycle but AF reared her ugly head 3 days early on 11DPO which was pretty gutting. This month I'll be interested to see what my LP is like as 11 days feels a bit alarmingly short - I've always been more like 16 days as I have a 30-32 day cycle.

Anyway we're off on holiday AND trying to buy a house so will be enjoying/commiserating with a few glasses of wine (after confirming with a negative test tomorrow).

MegsMog · 20/02/2017 11:15

Badgers I have seen a good number of late 30s / early 40s pregnant ladies in my line of work. ❤️

Oysterbabe · 20/02/2017 09:45

Welcome Gimme and good luck.

CD15 here and OPKs very negative. Since having a pretty strong (but still negative) line on CD12 they've just been getting lighter. I'm now wondering if I've ovulated early and missed the surge. I had loads of CM on CD10 and 11 which has since dried up. This is my first cycle off the pill with just a withdrawal bleed before so perhaps it's not surprising if it's a bit up in the air. I hope I did ovulate on CD 12 actually because I DTD.

GimmeSomeLuck · 19/02/2017 21:46

Hi everyone,

Wondering if I can join?

I used to be on these buses all the time, with no luck Sad took a break from mumsnet to see if it helped - it didn't.

I'm 26
TTC #1
Cycle 18 (only last 11 of those are confirmed ovulation)
CD 8
Testing 12th March

This month I'm trying a mooncup after DTD over the fertile days - we'll see if that helps... Hopefully can't hurt!
Has anyone heard/tried this before?

MissMango100 · 19/02/2017 21:23

Hello Badgers, we're in the same boat, except I'm already 38, TTC no. 1. Cycle 1.

My partner is 44, but I worry less about his age, than my own. He's fit and healthy, but his enthusiasm to DTD so frequently is less than when he was 24! Grin

IPokeBadgers · 19/02/2017 21:09

Thanks girls, the encouragement is most welcome!

Thingymaboob · 19/02/2017 20:34

I know what you mean about age. Someone I went to school with has a 14 year old son. They were 19 at the time but that does feel weird. 4 years and that child will be off!

ttcnovice · 19/02/2017 20:08

Badgers you're on the same cycle number as me, and I'm 24, so age isn't everything! Keep your chin up Flowers

Cookie1831 · 19/02/2017 20:02

Absolutely badgers you have plenty of time as does he x

QueenGiggles · 19/02/2017 19:57

Try not to worry badgers, you're still young! I had an app with my consultant after MMC and he was very adamant that males produce sperm 24/7 for a very long time if not forever

IPokeBadgers · 19/02/2017 19:44

Thanks oyster, appreciate it. My husband's age also a worrying factor for me. But will just have to see what happens over next few months.

Oysterbabe · 19/02/2017 19:33

You're still young Badgers, plenty of women are having children into their 40s. Try not to worry.

IPokeBadgers · 19/02/2017 19:10

Can I join in?

Age: 37 (and 11 months 😕)
TTC: no 1
Cycle 4
CD 1

Bit upset today as AF arrived: have had a weird few days of extreme fatigue and dizziness, thought might have been early signs of success this month. Now realise it was more likely the extreme work related stress and pmt. Am so scared DH and I have fucked our chances of being parents by leaving it to now to try (he is considerablying older than me) Sad

Cookie1831 · 19/02/2017 15:42

And whoops age 35

Cookie1831 · 19/02/2017 15:42

Excuse the typos

Cookie1831 · 19/02/2017 15:41

Can I jump on?
Stopped combined pill 4 days ago and AF just arrived feeling excited but trying and failing to not become obsessed already but cannot stop thinking about it!!!
TTC no 3 (hi catastronaut and queen)
Cycle 1
Cycle day 1
No idea when AF due as interactive thyroid and very long crazy cycles o probably in for aong wait!

QueenGiggles · 19/02/2017 12:18

Is there another seat free for me?

Currently CD3 and ttc bubs no3
Been trying since I had MMC in Oct tho it's really only cycle 2 as took my body a few months to get back to normal!
